Amplified inter simple sequence repeats （ISSR） markers were used to determine genetic relationships among mutant silkworm strains of Bombyx mori. Fifteen ISSR primers containing simple sequence repeat （SSR） motifs were used in this study. A total of 113 markers were produced among 20 mutant strains, of which 73.45% were found to be polymorphic. In selected mutant genetic stocks, the average number of observed allele was （1.7080 ± 0.4567）, effective alleles （1.5194 ± 0.3950） and genetic diversity （ht）（0.2901 ± 0.0415）. The dendrogram produced using the unweighted pair group method with arithmetic means （UPGmA） and cluster analysis made using Nei＇s genetic distance resulted in the formation of one major group containing 6 groups separated 20 mutant silkworm strains. Therefore, ISSR amplification is a valuable method for determining the genetic variability among mutant silkworm strains. This efficient molecular marker would be useful for characterizing a considerable number of silkworm strains maintained at the germplasm center.

Skin cancer diagnosis is difficult due to lesion presentation variability. Conventionalmethods struggle to manuallyextract features and capture lesions spatial and temporal variations. This study introduces a deep learning-basedConvolutional and Recurrent Neural Network (CNN-RNN) model with a ResNet-50 architecture which usedas the feature extractor to enhance skin cancer classification. Leveraging synergistic spatial feature extractionand temporal sequence learning, the model demonstrates robust performance on a dataset of 9000 skin lesionphotos from nine cancer types. Using pre-trained ResNet-50 for spatial data extraction and Long Short-Termmemory (LSTm) for temporal dependencies, the model achieves a high average recognition accuracy, surpassingprevious methods. The comprehensive evaluation, including accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, underscoresthe model’s competence in categorizing skin cancer types. This research contributes a sophisticated model andvaluable guidance for deep learning-based diagnostics, also this model excels in overcoming spatial and temporalcomplexities, offering a sophisticated solution for dermatological diagnostics research.

Along with conventional methods,this paper proposed a method in which ID and 3D models are integrated to identify the self-sourced reservoir potential of the Farewell Formation in the Kupe Gas Field within the Taranaki Basin,New *** rock characteristics were evaluated at both field and basin scales by investigating source rock maturity,type of organic matter,and hydrocarbon generation potential by rock pyrolysis,using Rock-Eval 2 and *** ID thermal and burial history model established the rate of sedimentation and thermal history of the Kupe 4 *** characterization at field-scale was determined by seismic interpretation,well log analysis,and 3D structural and petrophysical *** sediments of the Farewell Formation contain types Ⅱ-Ⅲ(oil/gas prone)and type Ⅲ(gas prone)and have fair-to-excellent generation *** oxygen and hydrogen indices ranged from 3 to 476 mg C0_(2)/g TOC and 26 to 356 mg hC/g TOC,respectively,whereas the thermal maturity determined by vitrinite reflectance values ranged between 0.3%and 0.72%,indicating that the Farewell Formation is in immature-to-mature hydrocarbon generation ***,Farewell Formation was verified to be a good source ***,structural interpretations demonstrated the structural complexity of an extensional and contractional regime within the reservoir *** faults indicated a good reservoir property there with a trapping mechanism as well as migration paths.A well-log-based petrophysical analysis established the presence of up to 70%hydrocarbon saturation within the pore spaces of Farewell *** 3D models confirmed that the Farewell Formation has significant sand zones and hydrocarbon-saturated zones,thereby proving its very good reservoir *** has been proved that the ID and 3D structural schemes,integrated with geological techniques,was vital in identifying the Kupe Field as a self-sourced reservoir.

Robust h_∞ control for uncertain markovian jump systems with mixed delays

We scrutinize the problem of robust h∞control for a class of markovian jump uncertain systems with interval timevarying and distributed delays. The markovian jumping parameters are modeled as a continuous-time finite-state markov chain. The main aim is to design a delay-dependent robust h∞control synthesis which ensures the mean-square asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional（LKF）, sufficient conditions for delay-dependent robust h∞control criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities（LmIs）. The advantage of the proposed method is illustrated by numerical examples. The results are also compared with the existing results to show the less conservativeness.

We consider the flow of an incompressible viscous maxwell fluid between two parallel plates, initially induced by a constant pressure gradient. The pressure gradient is withdrawn and the upper plate moves with a uniform velocity while the lower plate continues to be at rest. The arising flow is referred to as run-up flow. The unsteady governing equations are solved as initial value problem using Laplace transform technique. The expression for velocity, shear stresses on both plates and discharge are obtained. The behavior of the velocity, shear stresses and mass flux has been discussed in detail with respect to variations in different governing flow parameters and is presented through graphs.

To optimize the performance of a thermoelectric device for a specific application, the device should be uniquely designed for the application. Achieving an optimum design requires accurate measurements and credible analysis to evaluate the performance of the device and its relationship with the device parameters. To do that, we designed, fabricated, and tested four devices based on Bi2Te3 and Sb2Te3. To evaluate the accuracy of our analysis, experimental measurements were compared with the numerical simulation performed using COmSOLTm. The two sets of results were found to be in full agreement. This is a proof of the accuracy of our experimental measurements and the credibility of our simulation. The study shows that testing or simulating the devices without heat sink will lead to skewed results. This is because the junction will not hold its temperatures value, but will, instead, automatically change its value to the direction of thermal equilibrium. The study shows also that there is no reciprocity between the input and the output characteristics of the devices. Therefore, a device optimized for cooling and heating may not be automatically optimized for energy harvesting. For heating and cooling, temperature sensitivity should be optimized;while for energy harvesting, voltage sensitivity should be optimized. Using heat sink, our devices achieved a voltage sensitivity of 187.77 μV/K and a temperature sensitivity of 6.12 K/mV.

We report on the fabrication and characterization of multi-leg bismuth telluride (Bi2Te3) and antimony telluride (Sb2Te3) thermoelectric devices. The two materials were deposited, on top of SiO2/Si substrates, using Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD). The SiO2 layer was used to provide insulation between the devices and the Si wafer. Copper was used as an electrical connector and a contact for the junctions. Four devices were built, where the Bi2Te3 and Sb2Te3 were deposited at substrate temperatures of 100°C, 200°C, 300°C and 400°C. The results show that the device has a voltage sensitivity of up to 146 μV/K and temperature sensitivity of 6.8 K/mV.

Local geology or local site effect is a crucial component while conducting seismic risk assessment studies. Investigations made by utilization of ambient noise are an effective tool for local site estimation. The present study is conducted to perform site response analysis at 13 different sites within urban settlements of Fateh jang area （Pakistan）. The aim of this study was achieved by utilizing Nakamura method or h/V spectral ratio method. Some important local site parameters, e.g., the fundamental fre- quencies f0 of soft sediments, amplitudes A0 of corre- sponding h/V spectral ratios, and alluvium thicknesses over 13 sites within the study area, were measured and analyzed. The results show that the study area reflects low fundamental frequency fo. The fundamental frequencies of the sediments are highly variable and lie in a range of 0.6-13.0 hz. Similarly, amplification factors at these sites are in the range of 2.0-4.0.

In this paper, the robust h∞control problem for a class of stochastic systems with interval time-varying and distributed delays is discussed. The system under study involves parameter uncertainty, stochastic disturbance, interval time-varying,and distributed delay. The aim is to design a delay-dependent robust h∞control which ensures the robust asymptotic stability of the given system and to express it in the form of linear matrix inequalities（LmIs）. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results are also compared with the existing results to show its conservativeness.

This paper is concerned with the problem of delay-dependent robust h∞control for a class of uncertain systems with two additive time-varying delays. A new suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional（LKF） with triple integral terms is constructed and a tighter upper bound of the derivative of the LKF is derived. By applying a convex optimization technique, new delay-dependent robust h∞stability criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities（LmI）. Based on the stability criteria, a state feedback controller is designed such that the closed-loop system is asymptotically ***, numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Comparison results show that our results are less conservative than the existing methods.
