Conus loroisii is a marine vermivorous snail found profusely in the southern seas of *** harbor several toxic peptide components commonly called as‘conotoxins’.In this study,we have identified and sequenced five conotoxins using proteome based tandem mass spectrometry analysis through Data analysis 4.1 *** them,we found Lo959 as contryphan which is previously *** other conotoxins Lo1702,Lo1410,Lo1385 and Lo1686 belong to M-Superfamily conotoxins and novel to ***1410 is completely novel to conotoxin research with 3 disulfides and the amino acid sequence is derived as *** the identified M-Superfamily conotoxins are sub categorised to mini M2 superfamily ***1702 and Lo1686 possess C-terminal amidation which is the key feature in ***,we have screened the natural venom for the occurrence of toxicity in the zebrafish model and brine shrimp.

We report on a case of an 85-year old man with an unusual presentation of small bowel obstruction. A palpable mass on digital rectal examination was subsequently visualised endoscopically with the appearance of a haematoma. The presence of a rectal mass as a presenting sign for small bowel obstruction is highly unusual and unreported in the literature.

目的提取石榴皮、籽、花中的总黄酮并进行体外抗氧化能力的比较测定。方法以70%乙醇提取石榴皮、籽、花中总黄酮,采用直接显色法测定三者中总黄酮含量并测定石榴总黄酮对1,1-二苯基-2-三硝基苯肼(DPPH)自由基的清除能力、还原能力以及对羟自由基的抑制能力。结果1g石榴花中总黄酮含量为112.13mg,1g石榴皮中总黄酮含量为121.16mg,由于石榴籽与芦丁没有吻合的峰,故无法测量石榴籽中的黄酮含量。体外抗氧化实验中DPPH清除50%时所需要的石榴皮总黄酮的浓度为0.010 8mg/mL,石榴花总黄酮的浓度为0.015 1mg/mL。还原能力测定实验中,石榴皮总黄酮最大吸光度1.748,而同浓度维生素C仅为1.169;石榴花总黄酮最大吸光度1.732,维生素C为0.830;石榴皮总黄酮抑制能力对羟自由基抑制能力为355.7U/mL,同浓度维生素C溶液为273.2 U/mL,石榴花总黄酮为445.2 U/mL,同浓度维生素C溶液为239.1 U/mL。结论石榴皮中总黄酮含量>石榴花总黄酮含量。3个抗氧化试验结果显示石榴皮、石榴花总黄酮体外抗氧化能力为维生素C的2~3倍。

Background:We did a retrospective analysis of critical coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)patients admitted to our intensive care unit(ICU).The objective was to evaluate the outcome,risk factors and effect of prone position in critically ill patients requiring invasive mechanical ventilation(IMV).Patients and methods:The data were collected regarding demographics,comorbidities,laboratory parameters and *** regression was used for analysis of the association of risk factors to the ***:From 15 March to 30 May 2020,35(59.3%)out of 59 critical COVID-19 requiring IMV were admitted to a tertiary care hospital in *** day-28 ICU mortality was 28.8% and 48.6% in patients requiring *** position(PP)was used in 17(48.6%)patients for median duration of 19(5-20)hours with significant PaO_(2)/FiO_(2) *** kidney injury was common(30.5%),and half of the patients required renal replacement therapy(RRT)with higher mortality(77.8%).Lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)odd ratio(OR)-1.006[95%CI-1.00-1.01],D-dimer(OR-1.003[1.000-1.000]),low total leucocyte count(OR-1.135[1.01-1.28]),and lymphopenia(OR-0.909[0.84-0.98])were independently associated with increased risk of ***:IMV requirement in patients with COVID-19 is associated with higher *** markers like LDH,D-dimer,and lymphopenia can be used to predict the *** patients with COVID-19 on IMV respond significantly with prone position,and it should be considered early with a longer duration.

Along with the running COVID-19 pandemic by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2,the Chikungunya virus is already known as the causative agent of re-emerging Chikungunya fever in many countries after several years of latency;and it’s certainly one of the most important clinical issues possibly due to the lack of appropriate ***,continuous study and monitoring of this disease outbreak demand attention by the relevant health *** review has been written in the light of the recently available reports on the Chikungunya virus *** genomic structure and its impact on the viral epidemiology,the possible protective immunity,and the infection mitigation strategies have been ***’s already well known that the Chikungunya virus can start infection after getting entrance into the blood circulation through the mosquito bites followed by the dissemination into the major organs like liver,brain,eye,joints and lymph nodes in order to inaugurate the ***,the occurrence of death is very rare but the extreme fatality and morbidity may occur if the patient has other underlying disease *** molecular aspects of the virus,the site-specific damages caused by the viral infection,and finally,the public awareness of such viral infection as discussed in the current review would help to maintain the public health sustainability especially in the developing countries whereby the knowledge on the required hygiene is poor.

Recent years have seen a rapidly increasing trend towards the delivery of health technology through mobile devices. Smartphones and tablet devices are thus becoming increasingly popular for accessing information and a wide range of services, including health care services. Modern mobile apps can be used for a variety of reasons, ranging from education for the patients and assistance to clinicians to delivery of interventions. Mobile phone apps have also been established to benefit patients in a scope of interventions across numerous medical specialties and treatment modalities. Medical apps have their advantages and disadvantages. It is important that clinicians have access to knowledge to make decisions regarding the use of medical apps on the basis of risk-benefit ratio. Mobile apps that deliver psycho social interventions offer unique challenges and opportunities. A number of reviews have highlighted the potential use of such apps. There is a need to describe, report and study their side effects too. The adverse effects associated with these apps can broadly be divided into:(1) those resulting from the security and safety concerns;(2) those arising from the use of a particular psycho social intervention; and(3) those due to the interaction with digital technology. There is a need to refine and reconsider the safety and adverse effects in this area. The safety profile of a mobile PSI app should describe its safety profile in:(1) privacy and security;(2) adverse effects of psychotherapy; and(3) adverse effects unique to the use of apps and the internet. This is, however, a very new area and further research and reporting is required to inform clinical decision making.

In Fukushima NPP-1, large amounts of HALW (high-activity-level water) accumulated in the reactor, turbine building and the trench in the facility is treated by circulating injection cooling system. The development of highly functional adsorbents and stable solidification method contributes to the advancement of the decontamination system and environmental remediation. The present study deals with: (1) preparation of insoluble ferrocyanide loaded zeolites; (2) selective uptake of Cs + in seawater; and (3) estimation of Cs immobilization ratio and stable solidification. Various kinds of Cs-selective composites loaded with insoluble ferrocyanides (CoFC, NiFC) into the zeolites (zeolite A (A51, A-51J), zeolite X (LSX), chabazite (modified chabazite) and natural mordenite (SA-5)) matrices have been prepared to use successive impregnation/precipitation methods by Tohoku University. As for Cs + adsorption, these composites had relatively large uptake (%) over 95%, distribution coefficients (K d ) above 10 3 cm 3 /g and excellent adsorption kinetics even in seawater. The immobilization ratio (%) of Cs for the CoFC saturated with Cs + was estimated at different calcination temperatures up to 1,200 oC in advance. The immobilization ratio was less than 0.1% above 1,000 oC, indicating that the adsorbed Cs + ions are completely volatilized and insoluble ferrocyanides had no immobilization ability for Cs. In contrast, the insoluble ferrocyanide-loaded zeolites had excellent Cs immobilization ability; in the case of insoluble ferrocyanide-loaded natural zeolites (NiFC-SA-5, CoFC-modified chabazite), the immobilization ratio was above 99% and 96% even after calcination at 1,000 oC and 1,100 oC, respectively, indicating that nearly all Cs ions are immobilized in the sintered solid form. On the other hand, the immobilization ratio for the insoluble ferrocyanide-loaded A and X zeolites (NiFC-A (A51, A51J), NiFC-X) tended to decrease with calcining temperature; for example, the immobil

目的:研究槟榔子(Areca catechu)粗提取物中所含的抗血小板聚集及抑制乙酰胆碱酯酶活性的有效成分及其作用机制。方法:使用70%甲醇水溶液对槟榔子进行粗提取。使用生物发光血小板凝集仪在富血小板血浆中测定槟榔子粗提取物的抗血小板聚集作用,使用分光光度计在试管内测定槟榔子粗提取物对乙酰胆碱酯酶活性的抑制作用。检测槟榔子中的多种化合物以测定槟榔子中抗血小板聚集及抑制乙酰胆碱酯酶活性的有效成分。结果:槟榔子粗提取物能够抑制花生四烯酸、二磷酸腺苷、血小板活化因子、肾上腺素及钙离子载体引起的血小板聚集,尤其对二磷酸腺苷及钙离子载体引起的血小板聚集的抑制最为明显;槟榔子粗提取物能够显著抑制乙酰胆碱酯酶的活性。在所检测的槟榔子所含化合物中,只有儿茶素对肾上腺素引起的血小板聚集有显著的抑制作用,而这种抑制作用显著弱于槟榔子粗提取物,提示槟榔子中的其他成分参与了这种抑制作用;鞣酸、没食子酸、薯蓣皂苷元和异去甲槟榔次碱能够抑制乙酰胆碱酯酶的活性,其中鞣酸的抑制作用强于槟榔子粗提取物。结论:槟榔子中含有抗血小板聚集及抑制乙酰胆碱酯酶活性的有效成分,而发挥这些功效的确切成分有待进一步的研究证实。
