The novel coronavirus disease,coined as COVID-19,is a murderous and infectious disease initiated from Wuhan,*** killer disease has taken a large number of lives around the world and its dynamics could not be controlled so *** this article,the spatio-temporal compartmental epidemic model of the novel disease with advection and diffusion process is projected and *** counteract these types of diseases or restrict their spread,mankind depends upon mathematical modeling and medicine to reduce,alleviate,and anticipate the behavior of disease *** existence and uniqueness of the solution for the proposed system are ***,the solution to the considered system is made possible in a well-known functions *** this purpose,a Banach space of function is chosen and the solutions are optimized in the closed and convex subset of the *** essential explicit estimates for the solutions are investigated for the associated auxiliary *** numerical solution and its analysis are the crux of this ***,the consistency,stability,and positivity are the indispensable and core properties of the compartmental models that a numerical design must *** this end,a nonstandard finite difference numerical scheme is developed to find the numerical solutions which preserve the structural properties of the continuous *** M-matrix theory is applied to prove the positivity of the *** results for the consistency and stability of the design are also presented in this *** plausibility of the projected scheme is indicated by an appropriate *** simulations are also exhibited to conclude the results.

In the Smart Grid(SG)residential environment,consumers change their power consumption routine according to the price and incentives announced by the utility,which causes the prices to deviate from the initial ***,electricity demand and price forecasting play a significant role and can help in terms of reliability and *** to the massive amount of data,big data analytics for forecasting becomes a hot topic in the SG *** this paper,the changing and non-linearity of consumer consumption pattern complex data is taken as *** minimize the computational cost and complexity of the data,the average of the feature engineering approaches includes:Recursive Feature Eliminator(RFE),Extreme Gradient Boosting(XGboost),Random Forest(RF),and are upgraded to extract the most relevant and significant *** this end,we have proposed the DensetNet-121 network and Support Vector Machine(SVM)ensemble with Aquila Optimizer(AO)to ensure adaptability and handle the complexity of data in the ***,the AO method helps to tune the parameters of DensNet(121 layers)and SVM,which achieves less training loss,computational time,minimized overfitting problems and more training/test *** evaluation metrics and statistical analysis validate the proposed model results are better than the benchmark *** proposed method has achieved a minimal value of the Mean Average Percentage Error(MAPE)rate i.e.,8%by DenseNet-AO and 6%by SVM-AO and the maximum accurateness rate of 92%and 95%,respectively.

The present work is related to the numerical investigation of the spatio-temporal susceptible-latent-breaking out-recovered(SLBR)epidemic *** describes the computer virus dynamics with vertical transmission via the *** these types of dynamics models,the absolute values of the state variables are the fundamental requirement that must be fulfilled by the numerical *** taking into account this key property,the positivity preserving algorithm is designed to solve the underlying SLBR ***,the state variables associated with the phenomenon,represent the computer nodes,so they must take in ***,the continuous system(SLBR)acquires two steady states i.e.,the virus-free state and the virus existence *** stability of the numerical design,at the equilibrium points,portrays an exceptional aspect about the propagation of the *** designed discretization algorithm sustains the stability of both the steady *** computer simulations also endorse that the proposed discretization algorithm retains all the traits of the continuous SLBR model with spatial *** stability and consistency of the proposed algorithm are verified,*** the facts are also ascertained by numerical simulations.

Recently,the world is facing the terror of the novel corona-virus,termed as *** health institutes and researchers are continuously striving to control this *** this article,the SEIAR(susceptible,exposed,infected,symptomatically infected,asymptomatically infected and recovered)infection model of COVID-19 with a constant rate of advection is studied for the disease propagation.A simple model of the disease is extended to an advection model by accommodating the advection process and some appropriate parameters in the *** continuous model is transposed into a discrete numerical model by discretizing the domains,*** analyze the disease dynamics,a structure preserving non-standard finite difference scheme is *** steady states of the continuous system are described i.e.,virus free steady state and virus existing steady *** results show that both the steady states of the numerical design coincide with the fixed points of the continuous SEIAR *** of the state variables is ensured by applying the M-matrix theory.A result for the positivity property is *** the proposed numerical design,two different types of the stability are *** stability and linear stability for the projected scheme is examined by applying some standard *** Neuman stability test is applied to ensure linear *** reproductive number is described and its pivotal role in stability analysis is also *** and convergence of the numerical model is also *** graphs are presented via computer simulations to prove the worth and efficiency of the quarantine factor is explored graphically,which is helpful in controlling the disease *** the end,the conclusion of the study is also rendered.

Fuzziness or uncertainties arise due to insufficient knowledge,experimental errors,operating conditions and parameters that provide inaccurate *** concepts of susceptible,infectious and recovered are uncertain due to the different degrees in susceptibility,infectivity and recovery among the individuals of the *** differences can arise,when the population groups under the consideration having distinct habits,customs and different age groups have different degrees of resistance,*** realistic models are needed which consider these different degrees of susceptibility infectivity and recovery of the *** this paper,a Susceptible,Infected and Recovered(SIR)epidemic model with fuzzy parameters is *** infection,recovery and death rates due to the disease are considered as fuzzy *** basic reproduction number and fuzzy equilibrium points have been derived for the studied *** is then solved numerically with three different techniques,forward Euler,Runge-Kutta fourth order method(RK-4)and the nonstandard finite difference(NSFD)methods *** NSFD technique becomes more efficient and reliable among the others and preserves all the essential features of a continuous dynamical system.

Screening outcomes of household contacts of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis patients in Peshawar,Pakistan

Objective:To assess the profile of TB/multidrug-resistant TB(MDR-TB) among household contacts of MDR-TB ***:Close contacts of MDR-TB patients were traced in the cross-sectional *** clinical,radiological and bacteriological were performed to rule out the evidence of TB/***:Between January 2012 and December 2012,a total of 200 index MDR-TB patients were initiated on MDR-TB treatment,out of which home visit and contacts screening were conducted for 154 index *** 610 contacts who could be studied,41(17.4%) were diagnosed with MDR-TB and 10(4.2%) had *** most common symptoms observed were cough,chest pain and ***:The high incidence of MDR-TB among close contacts emphasize the need for effective contact screening programme of index MDR-TB cases in order to cut the chain of transmission of this disease.

Four-dimensional(4D)printing is a promising technology that provides solutions for compelling needs in various *** of the reported 4D printed systems are based on the temporal shape transformation of printed *** of temporal heterogenicity in functions in addition to shape may extend the scope of 4D ***,we report a 4D printing approach using plant protein(zein)gel inspired by the amyloid fibrils formation *** printing of zein gel in a specialized layered-Carbopol supporting bath with different water concentrations in an ethanol-water mixture modulates hydrophobic and hydrogen bonding that causes temporal changes in *** part of the construct printed in a supporting bath with higher water content exhibits higher drug loading,faster drug release and degradation than those printed in the supporting bath with lower water ***-segment conduit and butterfly-shaped construct with two asymmetrical wings are printed using this system to evaluate biomedical function as nerve conduit and drug delivery system.4D printed conduits are also effective as a drug-eluting urethral stent in the porcine ***,this study extends the concept of 4D printing beyond shape transformation and presents an approach of fabricating specialized baths for 4D printing that can also be extended to other materials to obtain 4D printed medical devices with translational potential.

CO_(2) storage in depleted gas reservoirs:A study on the effect of residual gas saturation

Depleted gas reservoirs are recognized as the most promising candidate for carbon dioxide *** gas production followed by injection of carbon dioxide after depletion is the strategy adopted for secondary gas recovery and storage *** strategy,however,depends on the injection strategy,reservoir characteristics and operational *** have been many studies to-date discussing critical factors influencing the storage performance in depleted gas reservoirs while little attention was given to the effect of residual *** this paper,an attempt was made to highlight the importance of residual gas on the capacity,injectivity,reservoir pressurization,and trapping mechanisms of storage sites through the use of numerical *** results obtained indicated that the storage performance is proportionally linked to the amount of residual gas in the medium and reservoirs with low residual fluids are a better choice for storage ***,it would be wise to perform the secondary recovery before storage in order to have the least amount of residual gas in the *** the results of this study are useful to screen depleted gas reservoirs for the storage purpose,more studies are required to confirm the finding presented in this paper.

Preliminary assessment of CO_(2) injectivity in carbonate storage sites

Depleted gas reservoirs are used for a large-scale carbon dioxide(CO_(2))storage and reduction of the greenhouse gas released into the *** identify a suitable depleted reservoir,it is essential to do a preliminary and comprehensive assessment of key storage factors such as storage capacity,injectivity,trapping mechanisms,and ***,there are a limited number of studies providing a preliminary assessment of CO_(2) injectivity potential in depleted gas reservoirs prior to a CO_(2) storage *** aim of this study is to provide a preliminary assessment of a gas field located in Malaysia for its storage potential based on subsurface characterization prior to *** of the reservoir interval based on the facies,cores,and wireline log data of a well located in the field indicated that the pore type and fabrics analysis is very beneficial to identify suitable locations for a successful storage *** the results obtained are promising,it is recommended to combine this preliminary assessment with the fluid-mineral interactions analysis before making any judgment about reliability of storage sites.

Well selection in depleted oil and gas fields for a safe CO_(2) storage practice: A case study from Malaysia

Carbon capture and sequestration technology is recognized as a successful approach taken to mitigate the amount of greenhouse gases released into the ***,having a successful storage practice requires wise selection of suitable wells in depleted oil or gas fields to reduce the risk of leakage and contamination of subsurface *** aim of this paper is to present a guideline which can be followed to provide a better understanding of sophisticated wells chosen for injection and storage *** recent studies carried out on different aspects of geosequestration indicated that the fracture pressure of seals and borehole conditions such as cement-sheath integrity,distance from faults and fractures together with the depth of wells are important parameters,which should be part of the analysis for well selection in depleted reservoirs.A workflow was then designed covering these aspects and it was applied to a depleted gas field in *** results obtained indicated that Well B in the field may have the potential of being a suitable conduit for *** more studies are required to consider other aspects of well selections,it is recommended to employ the formation integrity analysis as part of the caprock assessment before making any decisions.
