A new circuit for realization of universal current-mode filter using current Follower Transconductance Amplifiers (CFTAs) is presented. The proposed circuit realizes current-mode low pass, high pass and band pass filter functions simultaneously with a single current source at the input. The band reject and all pass filters can also be obtained from the proposed circuit without any extra hardware. The proposed circuit employs three passive grounded elements and two CFTAs. Linear electronic control of natural frequency ω0 is available in the proposed circuit. The quality factor can be independently adjusted through grounded resistor. The proposed circuit employs two grounded capacitors and a grounded resistor along with two CFTAs. The grounded resistor can be replaced by an OTA based circuit for linear electronic control of quality factor Q0. The circuit exhibits low active and passive sensitivities for ω0 and Q0. Simulation results are obtained using PSPICE software which is in conformity with the theoretical findings.

A new configuration realizing water quality monitoring device using ISFET involving low power CMOS Integrated “Ion Sensitive Field Effect transistor (ISFET) – Operational Amplifier is presented. The study’s main focus is on simulation of power and performance analysis of ISFET device, which is used for water quality monitoring. This approach can improve calibration of device to a fairly wide range without the use of a high speed digital processor. The conventional device has a drawback of slow slew rate but in this novel design, the device has a better slew rate. A new slew rate enhancement (SRE) incorporated into a ISFET, which does not affect the small signal frequency response. The functionality of the circuit is tested using Tanner simulator version 15 for a 70nm CMOS process model also the transfer function realization is done on MATLAB R2011a version, the Very high speed integrated circuit Hardware description language(VHDL) code for the same scheme is simulated on Xilinx ISE 10.1 and various simulation results are obtained. Simulation results are included to demonstrate the results.

The purpose of this paper is to introduce a new electronically controlled voltage mode sinusoidal oscillator (VMSO) using Voltage Differencing Transconductance Amplifiers (VDTA). The proposed circuit provides electronic control of ω0 and independent condition of oscillation (CO). It is found that the oscillator works very satisfactorily and pure sinusoidal waveforms are available at the outputs. The PSPICE simulation confirms the theoretical results. The proposed oscillator circuit employs only two VDTAs, along with two grounded capacitor and single grounded resistor. The circuit exhibits low active and passive sensitivities for ω0. Simulation results are obtained by using PSPICE software with TSMC CMOS 0.18 um process parameters.

Cu doped Mg(OH)_(2) nanoparticles were synthesized with varying concentrations from 0 to 10%by a chemical synthesis technique of coprecipitation.X-rays diffraction (XRD) of the samples confirms that all the samples acquire the hexagonal crystal *** results indicated the solubility limit of dopant in the host material and the secondary phase of CuO was observed beyond 3%Cu doping in Mg(OH)_(2).The reduction in the size of nanoparticles was observed from 166 to 103 nm for Mg(OH)_(2) and 10% Cu doped Mg(OH)_(2)samples,*** shift in absorption spectra exhibited the systematical enhancement in optical bandgap from 5.25 to 6.085 eV.A good correlation was observed between the bandgap energy and crystallite size of the nanocrystals which confirmed the size induced effect in the *** transformation in the sample morphology was observed from irregular spherical particles to sepals like shapes with increasing the Cu concentration in the host *** energy dispersive X-Ray (EDX) analysis confirmed the purity of mass percentage composition of the elements present in the samples.
