The post-embryonic growth of the Arabidopsis thaliana root system can be modified by different types of stress,such as sublethal concentrations of metals,which may induce the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS).In this study,the effects of different concentrations of potassium chromate(K_(2)CrO_(4))on the distribution and relative quantity of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))were determined in primary and adventitious roots in *** HyPer line *** line has a biosensor that specifically reports H_(2)O_(2) levels within tissues as *** root growth was inhibited at 100μM Cr(VI);in contrast,adventitious root formation was induced over the main root growth *** structures proliferated from 100-160μM Cr(VI),and much higher concentrations(180-200μM)of K_(2)CrO_(4) were required to affect their *** H_(2)O_(2) distributions were observed in the columella and lateral root cap of primary roots of plants grown in medium lacking dichromate,but following the development of toxicity symptoms,H_(2)O_(2) changed its distribution to the meristem and differentiation ***,adventitious roots had comparable H_(2)O_(2) distribution patterns in untreated plants and those exposed to Cr(VI)***,differential H_(2)O_(2) distribution correlates with the resistance of adventitious roots,but not primary roots,to dichromate and underlies cell reorganization at the apex to support growth.

A synthetizing material blended with two distinct proteins (collagen and casein) and mineral mixture, was developed in order to evaluate their properties suitable for possible applications in the biomedical such as inducing the regeneration of damaged bone, either due to an accident or illness. Samples were evaluated by 1) Mechanical properties tests under the bending, 2) Scanning electronic microscopy and 3) Infrared spectroscopy were carried out. The results showed that the developed material has breaking strength and structure characteristics associated with the protein used in their composition. This fact suggests that the used protein determines the resistance of the material, in such a way according to the required use, being able to choose appropriate strength and duration either short or long time. The material composition for specific use, in order to find the most suitable mixture for bone replacement, or induce bone recovery, according to the required properties similar to those of damaged living tissue.

White piedra is a superficial, chronic, asymptomatic mycoses caused by yeast fungi of the genus Trichosporon. It affects the hair, especially of the head, less frequently of the pubis, perineum, armpit, beard, mustache, eyebrows and eyelashes, and is characterized by the formation of soft nodules or fungal clusters. It affects all age groups and both sexes, predominantly women. Diagnosis is made by direct examination of the affected hair and culture on Sabouraud dextrose agar. The identification of species occurs through more specific identification procedures, such as mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF) and PCR). The objective of this work is to report two cases of familial white piedra caused by T. inkin identified by PCR.

直流电弧故障常常会威胁到各种电力电子系统的安全运行，由于其本身的随机性和不稳定性，直流电弧故障很难被有效地检测出来。笔者设计了一套串联直流电弧试验系统用以研究不同因素如负载电流、直流源电压以及电极间隙长度对直流电弧特性的影响。在试验中，负载电流在6～30A之间变化。直流源电压在75～300V之间变化。同时还进行了固定源电压和负载电流下不同间隙长度的试验以研究电孤长度对电弧特性的影响。根据以上试验结果。进行了初步的电弧电压一电流特性的研究。最后．通过对时间窗内电流变化率的分析．研究了电弧电流的脉冲模式。以上研究结果为直流电弧特性研究及直流电弧故障检测提供了重要的基础．

蓝莓富含花青素等酚类化合物，具有良好的保健功能。本研究旨在研究从‘灿烂’品种兔眼蓝莓中提取的蓝莓花青素在小鼠体内的抗氧化活性。C57BL/6J健康雄性小鼠被分成不同剂量组，各组蓝莓花青素提取物（BAE）浓度分别为100、400和800 mg/kg。在不同时间点（0.1、0.5、1、2、4、8和12 h）将小鼠处死，收集其血浆、眼球、肠、肝和脂肪组织，比较其抗氧化活性，测定指标包括总抗氧化能力（T-AOC）、超氧化物歧化酶（SOD）活性、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶（GSH-PX/GPX）含量，以及氧化应激标志物丙二醛（MDA）水平。结果表明：蓝莓花青素在小鼠体内具有良好的抗氧化活性，并呈浓度依赖性，BAE浓度越高，T-AOC值越高，MDA水平越低。抗氧化酶SOD活性、GSH-PX含量以及Cu,Zn-SOD、Mn-SOD和GPX的m RNA水平均证实，BAE在小鼠消化后通过改善其抗氧化防御系统发挥抗氧化作用。蓝莓花青素提取物的体内抗氧化活性表明，蓝莓花青素可以被开发成功能性食品或营养配料，用于预防或治疗氧化应激相关的疾病。
