The aim of this review is to assess the evidence regarding racial differences in the prevalence and severity of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).We reviewed the published literature that reported prevalence,severity,and genetic associations of NAFLD in different ethnic *** metabolic syndrome(MetS)has been associated with NAFLD,but each component of the MetS is present in various races in different percentages and their effect on NAFLD appears to be *** elevated triglyceride(TG)level seems to have the strongest association with *** latter is more prevalent in Hispanic patients;Blacks have lower TG levels and a lower NAFLD prevalence,compared to Caucasians or *** severity of liver fibrosis is lower in some,but not all biopsy-based studies of Black *** study has evaluated the severity of liver disease controlling for the individual components of MetS,especially *** racial differences in the prevalence of selected genetic polymorphisms,particularly PNPLA-3 and MBOAT7 have been documented,together with their effects on the prevalence of liver steatosis and *** on overall and liver mortality have found no significant differences according to race/ethnicity,with the possible exception of one paper reporting lower cirrhosis mortality in Black *** conclude that NAFLD is more prevalent in Hispanics and less in *** is supported by differences in key genetic polymorphisms associated with hepatic fat ***,there is presently insufficient evidence to firmly conclude that race,per se,plays a role in the development of liver fibrosis and its *** studies,appropriately controlled for diet,exercise,and individual MetS parameters are needed.

Undoped and Ni–S co-doped mesoporous TiO2 nano materials were synthesized by using sol–gel *** characteristic features of as prepared catalyst samples were investigated using various advanced spectroscopic and analytical *** characterization results of the samples revealed that all the samples exhibited anatase phase(XRD),decreasing band gap(2.68 eV)(UV–Vis-DRS),small particle size(9.2 nm)(TEM),high surface area(142.156 m^2·g^-1)(BET),particles with spherical shape and smooth morphology(SEM);there is a frequency shift observed for co-doped sample(FT-IR)and the elemental composition electronic states and position of the doped elements(Ni and S)in the TiO2 lattice analyzed by XPS and *** results supported the photocatalytic degradation of Bismarck Brown Red(BBR)achieved with in 110 min and also exhibited the antibacterial activity on Staphylococcus aureus(MTCC-3160),Pseudomonas fluorescence(MTCC-1688)under visible light irradiation.

The n-cascade system surviving with loss of m components by k number of attacks is studied;the general equation for the reliability is obtained for the above said system;and the system reliability is computed numerically for 6-cascade system for 2-number of attacks.

Objective:To investigate the association between age and semen parameters among male partners of subfertile ***:This retrospective study analyzed the semen of 1523 infertile men aged 26 to 50 *** were extracted from GarbhaGudi IVF Centre database from January 2019 to September *** basic semen parameters were interpreted according to the WHO manual 2021,6th *** parameters in different age groups were ***:Total and progressive motile sperms were significantly higher in the age group of 26-30 years compared to other age groups(P46 years(P=0.001).However,sperm head defects,neck and midpiece defects,tail defects,and cytoplasmic droplets showed statistically insignificant difference in all the age groups(P>0.05).Semen viscosity showed no statistical difference in all the age groups compared to the reference age group of 26 to 30 ***:Higher age can lead to a significant decrease in normal sperms and motility in subfertile ***,male partner age should be considered as one of the major determining factors for reproductive outcomes.

目的探究大麻槿叶对尿石症和胆石症的疗效。方法评价大麻槿叶水提物对硫脲嘧啶和胆固醇胆酸饮食诱导的BALB/c小鼠胆石症和乙二醇诱导的Wistar大鼠尿石症的治疗作用。选取3个剂量的水提物(40、80和160 mg/kg)对小鼠胆石症的药效进行评价;另外3个剂量的水提物(400、800和1600 mg/kg)对大鼠尿石症的药效进行评价。在胆石症模型中测定胆汁胆固醇、胆汁磷脂、胆汁酸等生化指标;在尿石症模型中测定24小时尿量及肌酐、尿酸、蛋白质、尿素、草酸钙结晶、红细胞和脓尿等尿参数。结果给予3个试验剂量的大麻槿叶水提物后,动物的胆道和泌尿系统参数差别均具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论大麻槿对高脂致石饮食导致的尿石症和胆石症具有明显疗效。
