A double holmium-silver sulfate was obtained for the first *** temperature intervals for the formation and stability of the compound were determined by differential scanning *** crystal structure of AgHo(sO_(4))_(2)was determined by Rietveld *** X-ray diffraction(XRD)analysis showed that the compound crystallizes in the monoclinic syngony,space group P2_1/m,with the unit cell parameters a=4.71751(4)A,b=6.84940(6)A and c=9.89528(9)A,β=95.1466(4)·,V=318.448(5)A^(3),Z=2,R_B=1.55%,T=303 *** types of sulfate tetrahedra were found in the structure,which significantly affected the spectral properties in the infrared *** the temperature range of 143-703 K,a negative thermal expansion along the b direction accompanied by a positive thermal expansion along the a and c directions was *** was established that negative thermal expansion is the result of the deformation of sulfate tetrahedra,which is affected by the movement of holmium and silver *** excitation in the blue spectral range(457.9 nm)produces a luminescence in light blue(489 nm),green(545 nm)and red(654 nm)spectral ranges,and the latter two were of comparable intensity that is favorable for WLED *** observed luminescent band distribution is ascribed to the specific crystal field at Ho^(3+)ion sites rather than a variation of radiationless probability.

Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is the most common neurodegenerative disorder characterized by slow and progressive decline of cognitive and memory *** only approximately 5%of the cases,AD is familial,as often predisposed by genetic mutations(Hoogmartens et al.,2021),while sporadic AD accounts for approximately 95%of the *** amyloid cascade hypothesis is one of the fundamental hypotheses put out to explain AD pathogenesis as dysregulated homeostasis of amyloid-β(Aβ)peptides that leads to the accumulation of Aβplaques in the parenchyma,an anatomical hallmark of AD.

Algorithms for automatic measurement of sIs-type hysteretic underdamped Josephson junction’s parameters by current-voltage characteristics

some electrical parameters of the sIs-type hysteretic underdamped Josephson junction(JJ)can be measured by its current-voltage characteristics(IVCs).Currents and voltages at JJ are commensurate with the intrinsic noise level of measuring *** leads to the need for multiple measurements with subsequent statistical *** this paper,the digital algorithms are proposed for the automatic measurement of the JJ parameters by *** algorithms make it possible to implement multiple measurements and check these JJ parameters in an automatic mode with the required *** complete sufficient statistics are used to minimize the root-mean-square error of parameter measurement.A sequence of current pulses with slow rising and falling edges is used to drive JJ,and synchronous current and voltage readings at JJ are used to realize measurement *** algorithm performance is estimated through computer *** significant advantage of the proposed algorithms is the independence from current source noise and intrinsic noise of current and voltage meters,as well as the simple implementation in automatic digital measuring *** proposed algorithms can be used to control JJ parameters during mass production of superconducting integrated circuits,which will improve the production efficiency and product quality.

The evolution of solidified structure of s50C steel during heat treatment in compact strip production process was studied through an ultra-high-temperature confocal scanning laser *** was found that the solidified structure consisted of dendritic crystals with secondary dendrite arm spacing ranging in 32-120μm,where carbon segregation was evident,and the dendrite arms wereα-*** insignificant change was observed at a soaking temperature of 1180℃,whereas at 1300℃,the finer structure firstly disappeared,and then,the coarsening decreased,indicating that carbon tended to be ***,the microsegregation was improved at 1300℃for 15 *** phase transformation ofα-Fe→γ-Fe enhanced the carbon diffusion,and the evolution of the equivalent radius req was controlled by carbon *** diffusion coefficient of carbon(D=15μm2/s)was determined by using the inverse problem method.

BACKGROUND Necrotizing enterocolitis(NEC)is a multifactorial disease that predominantly affects premature *** dysbiosis plays a critical role in NEC pathogenesis in premature *** main risk factor for NEC in term infants is mesenteric hypoperfusion associated with ductaldependent congenital heart disease(CHD)that eventually leads to intestinal *** incidence of NEC in neonates with critical CHD is 6.8%-13%.However,the role of the intestinal microbiome in NEC pathogenesis in infants with ductal-dependent CHD remains *** sUMMARY A male term neonate with right atrial isomerism underwent modified Blalock-Taussig shunt placement on the 14^(th)day of life and had persistent mesenteric hypoperfusion after *** patient had episodes of NEC stageⅡA on the 1^(st)and 28^(th)days after cardiac *** microbial composition was analyzed before and after cardiac surgery by sequencing region V4 of the 16s rRNA *** surgery,species belonging to genera Veillonella and Clostridia and class Gammaproteobacteria were detected,Bifidobacteriaceae showed a low *** first NEC episode was associated with postoperative hemodynamic instability,intestinal ischemiareperfusion injury during cardiopulmonary bypass,and a high abundance of Clostridium paraputrificum(Clostridium sensu stricto I)(56.1%).Antibacterial therapy after the first NEC episode resulted in increased abundance of Gammaproteobacteria,decreased abundance of Firmicutes,and low alpha *** changes in the microbial composition promoted the growth of Clostridium sensu strictoⅠ(72.0%)before the second NEC *** A high abundance of Clostridium sensu strictoⅠand mesenteric hypoperfusion may have contributed to NEC in the present case.

A systematic review of progenitor survival and maturation in Parkinsonian models

stem cell-based brain repair is a promising emergent therapy for Parkinson's disease based on years of foundational research using human fetal donors as a cell *** current therapeutic options for patients,this approach has the potential to provide longterm stem cell–derived reconstruction and restoration of the dopaminergic input to denervated regions of the brain allowing for restoration of certain functions to *** ultimate clinical success of stem cell–derived brain repair will depend on both the safety and efficacy of the approach and the latter is dependent on the ability of the transplanted cells to survive and differentiate into functional dopaminergic neurons in the Parkinsonian *** the pre-clinical literature suggests that there is considerable variability in survival and differentiation between studies,the aim of this systematic review was to assess these parameters in human stem cell-derived dopaminergic progenitor transplant studies in animal models of Parkinson's disease.A defined systematic search of the PubMed database was completed to identify relevant studies published up to March *** screening,76 articles were included in the analysis from which 178 separate transplant studies were *** these,graft survival could be assessed in 52 studies and differentiation in 129 ***,we found that graft survival ranged froms transplanted,with a median of 51%of transplanted cells surviving in the brain;while dopaminergic differentiation of the cells ranged from 0% to 46% of cells transplanted with a median of 3%.This systematic review suggests that there is considerable scope for improvement in the differentiation of stem cell-derived dopaminergic progenitors to maximize the therapeutic potential of this approach for patients.
