Colorectal cancer(CRC)represents a molecularly heterogeneous disease and one of the most frequent causes of cancer-related death *** traditional classification of CRC is based on pathomorphological and molecular character-istics of tumor cells(mucinous,ring-cell carcinomas,etc.),analysis of mechanisms of carcinogenesis involved(chromosomal instability,microsatellite instability,CpG island methylator phenotype)and mutational statuses of commonly altered genes(KRAS,NRAS,BRAF,ApC,etc.),as well as expression signatures(CMS 1-4).It is also suggested that the tumor microenvironment is a key player in tumor progression and metastasis in *** to the latest data,the immune microenvironment can also be predictive of the response to immune checkpoint *** this review,we highlight how the immune environment influences CRC prognosis and sensitivity to systemic therapy.

Soil invertebrates and heavy metal concentrations are heterogeneously distributed in the soil of steppe plots surrounding an iron mining enterprise in southern Russia. This study assesses whether patches of high soil invertebrate abundance coincide with patches of low concentrations of pollutants. For this aim, spatial analysis by distance indices （SADIE） was applied. Three valleys in Belogorye Nature Reserve were chosen. One valley faced the tailing pond to the north and the other two faced south-east or south-west. Two sampling plots were chosen in each valley, 60 m apart from each other. On every plot 16 soil cores were collected from a grid of 4 × 4 units with a 5-m distance between each sample unit. Each soil core had an area of 76 cm2 and was 12-15 cm deep. All macroinvertebrates were hand-sorted and identified to family. Abundance of soil invertebrates was not controlled by patches of metal concentration in the soil. Epigaeic groups, like insects and other invertebrates inhabiting the litter layer, were not directly associated with local parameters of the soil. On the contrary, belowground invertebrate abundance （elaterid larvae and earthworms） showed significant dissociation with some heavy metal （Fe, pb, Zn） concentrations in the soil. The patchiness of soil pollution may act as a leading factor ofbelowground soil invertebrate distribution. The spatial structure of animal populations in industrially transformed soils needs further research.

BACKGROUND： The present study investigated the effects （LMCC）, which were administered per os, on the differentiation, of rats in primary culture. of low-molecular-weight components of bovine colostrum growth, and survival of cells obtained from the bone marrow METHODS： Bone marrow cells （BMCs） were obtained from both the rat femurs and were cultured in medium 199 supplemented with antibiotics （8% streptomycin and 8% gentamycin） and 20% inactivated fetal calf serum. In addition, the number of BMCs was counted and their morphotypes were determined. RESULTS： Animals were treated with copper （Cu） sulfate to induce liver fibrosis. Subsequent treatment with LMCC eliminated growth inhibition and normalized the bodyweight and temperature of animals with Cu-induced liver fibrosis. The number of lymphocytes in the bone marrow of animals with Cu-induced liver fibrosis was significantly higher than that in the bone marrow of control animals. The number ofneutrophils in untreated animals with liver fibrosis and LMCC-treated animals with liver fibrosis was lower than that in control animals. Neutrophils obtained from untreated animals with liver fibrosis and LMCC-treated animals with liver fibrosis underwent two-times faster degradation in vitro than neutrophils obtained from control animals. CONCLUSIONS： Our results indicate that LMCC affects the distribution of different morphological types of BMCs but does not prevent their degradation in vitro, which was two-times faster than that of BMCs obtained from control animals.

Micromorphology of calcic accumulations(calcite,whewellite and gypsum) and geochemical indices were considered as indicators of genesis and evolution of pedogenic accumulations in soils and paleosediments of the Argentinean *** groups of separate and independent calcic accumulations were studied using scanning electron microscopy:(i) in situ Argiudolls,reflecting the current soil formation;(ii) in the layers of calcrete(locally named tosca).reflecting the past environments and conditions of these layers *** pedogenic gypsum accumulations in Argiudolls were described and possible ways of their formation were *** analyses of morphology of carbonate accumulations and geochemical indices in different horizons of Argiudolls and layers of tosca showed that the tosca is paleopedocomplex with complicated formation *** of current environment on tosca morphology is absent,so it is possible to use these pedofeatures for paleoreconstructions in further studying.

Tailoring of the composition of the scintillation ceramics Gd_(x)Ce_(0.03)Al_(2)Ga_(3)O_(12)(x=2.89-3.07) heavily doped with Ce was *** co-precipitation is found to be quite a useful method to provide a purpo seful deviation of Gd content from the stoichio metric ratio in powders for their further compacting and sintering in the *** effect of the composition variations on microstructure,phase composition,luminescent and scintillation characteristics is *** is shown that Gd content below the stoichiometric composition leads to increasing the grain size but,quenching of the photoluminescence and the scintillation,whereas excess Gd leads to higher luminosity;the maximum value is obtained for the composition with an excess of Gd ~2%.Ceramics possess a light yield of -50000 ph/MeV,effective scintillation kinetics of 50 ns,and is a good candidate for application in a new generation of scanners utilizing pulsed X-ray sources.

During the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic,vaccines help control the spread of *** date,47 vaccines have been approved,with another 227 candidates in various stages of *** the short period of time since the beginning of their use,evidence has begun to emerge of complications following vaccination in the form of the development or exacerbation of a number of pathological conditions(Block et al.,2022;Haseeb et al.,2022).For example,a population-based study in France identified 1612 cases of myocarditis and 1613 cases of pericarditis requiring hospital treatment within five months of vaccination(le Vu et al.,2022).
