Assessment of CO_(2)storage prospect based on physical properties of Rio Bonito formation rock units

The physical properties of the rock units associated with the Rio Bonito formation are presented in this study with the focus on modelling reservoir quality based on petrophysics-derived parameters to evaluate CO_(2)storage *** involves the modelling of the reservoir depths,thicknesses,flow zone indicators(fZI),and effective permeability(Keff)and presenting the CO_(2)storage efficiency factors peculiar to the rock units of the study *** results presented by this study for the stated objectives are not quite common in the *** values range from 200 mD to higher than 2000 mD,and fZI values are generally above 1.0 mm and up to 13.0 mm within the portions covered by the drilled *** sandstone units recorded are up to 20 m thick in some *** Keff and fZI models indicate the sandstone reservoirs as permeable units to support the injection and circulation of CO_(2)within the potential reservoir units of the Rio Bonio formation across São Paulo *** from some points in the southeastern part of the study location,where the Rio Bonito are delineated at depths less than 800 m(minimum CO_(2)storage depth based on best practices),other portions are deeper,ranging from 950 m to 3500 ***-bedded layers will affect the integrity of the rocks as CO_(2)storage tanks or reservoir seals/traps/overburden within the *** bed thicknesses are up to 20 m in some ***,hybrid CO_(2)reservoir units are feasible,especially in portions where thin siltstone layers are sandwiched between sandstone units to provide considerable thicknesses based on CO_(2)storage *** current study shows that useable areas considering reservoir thickness,depth,and other physical qualities will significantly control the CO_(2)storage efficiency of the study *** studies featuring a detailed geophysical exploration of the site to confirm the availability and saturations of preexisting fluid(hydrocarbon and water)are encouraged

This research introduces a novel approach to improve and optimize the predictive capacity of consumer purchase behaviors on e-commerce platforms. This study presented an introduction to the fundamental concepts of the logistic regression algorithm. In addition, it analyzed user data obtained from an e-commerce platform. The original data were preprocessed, and a consumer purchase prediction model was developed for the e-commerce platform using the logistic regression method. The comparison study used the classic random forest approach, further enhanced by including the K-fold cross-validation method. Evaluation of the accuracy of the model’s classification was conducted using performance indicators that included the accuracy rate, the precision rate, the recall rate, and the f1 score. A visual examination determined the significance of the findings. The findings suggest that employing the logistic regression algorithm to forecast customer purchase behaviors on e-commerce platforms can improve the efficacy of the approach and yield more accurate predictions. This study serves as a valuable resource for improving the precision of forecasting customers’ purchase behaviors on e-commerce platforms. It has significant practical implications for optimizing the operational efficiency of e-commerce platforms.

AIM:To compare the prevalence of functional gastrointestinal disorders(fGIDs)using ROMEⅢand ROMEⅡand to describe predictors of fGIDs among eating disorder(ED)***:Two similar cohorts of female ED inpatients,aged 17-50 years,with no organic gastrointestinal or systemic disorders,completed either the ROMEⅢ(n=100)or the ROMEⅡ(n=160)questionnaire on admission for ED *** two ROME cohorts were compared on continuous demographic variables(e.g.,age,BMI)using Student’s t-tests,and on categorical variables(e.g.,ED diagnosis)usingχ*** relationship between ED diagnostic subtypes and fGID categories was explored usingχ***,BMI,and psychological and behavioural predictors of the common(prevalence greater than 20%)ROMEⅢfGIDs were tested using logistic regression ***:The criteria for at least one fGID were fulfilled by 83%of the ROMEⅢcohort,and 94%of the ROMEⅡ*** were no significant differences in age,BMI,lowest ever BMI,ED diagnostic subtypes or ED-related quality of life(QOL)scores between ROMEⅡand ROMEⅢ*** most prevalent fGIDs using ROMEⅢwere postprandial distress syndrome(PDS)(45%)and irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)(41%),followed by unspecified functional bowel disorders(U-fBD)(24%),and functional heartburn(fH)(22%).There was a 29%or 46%increase(depending on presence or absence of cyclic vomiting)in functional gastroduodenal disorders because of the introduction of PDS in ROMEⅢcompared to ROMEⅡ.There was a 35%decrease in functional bowel disorders(fBD)in RomeⅢ(excluding U-fBD)compared to ROMEⅡ.The most significant predictor of PDS was starvation(P=0.008).The predictor of fH(P=0.021)and U-fBD(P=0.007)was somatisation,and of IBS laxative use(P=0.025).Age and BMI were not significant *** addition of the 6-mo duration of symptoms requirement for a diagnosis in ROMEⅢadded precision to many ***:ROMEⅢconfers higher precision in diagnosing fGIDs but self-induced vomiting should be excluded from the

According to the definitions of molecular connectivity and hyper-Wiener index, a novel set of hyper-Wiener indexes （Dn, ^mDn） were defined and named as condensed extended hyper-Wiener index, the potential usefulness of which in QSAR/QSPR is evaluated by its correlation with a number of C3-C8 alkanes as well as by a favorable comparison with models based on molecular connectivity index and overall Wiener index.

Density functional theory periodic slab calculations were carded out for CO adsorption on a series of Mo modified Pt（111） surfaces to provide an insight into the interaction between CO and doped metal surface, an important issue in CO oxidation as well as in promotion and poisoning effects of catalysis. The modification of adsorption properties with respect to those of adsorption on the pure Mo（110） and Pt（111） is described in terms of changes in the adsorption energies, adsorption sites and vibrational properties occurring upon alloying. We believe that the present DfT calculations can provide important information into optimal alloy composition for CO-tolerance, which is not easily obtained by experimental methods.

冰川是南美洲阿根廷门多萨流域(33°S)重要的淡水资源,冰川作为气候变化的敏感指示器,对于理解和评估全球和区域气候变化具有重要意义。为了解门多萨流域冰川分布及变化趋势,探讨其对区域水资源和生态系统的影响,为应对气候变化提供科学依据,研究基于1990-2020年Landsat遥感影像,参考RGI冰川编目数据和阿根廷国家冰川清单,通过比值阈值法和人工解译法得到7期冰川边界,研究了门多萨流域冰川面积分布与变化特征。并结合TerraClimate气候数据,揭示了该区域在研究期间的气候变化趋势,探讨了区域气候变化对冰川变化的影响。结果表明:①2020年门多萨流域冰川面积为134.09±11.86 km^(2),1990-2020年冰川总体呈极显著波动下降趋势(p10 km^(2)占比最大,10 km^(2)规模冰川退缩速度最大;冰川主要分布在南坡,西北坡冰川最少,东南、东北坡冰川退缩速度最大;冰川主要分布在坡度5°~40°之间,50°~55°的冰川退缩速度最大;冰川主要分布在海拔4200~5400 m之间,<4000 m冰川退缩速率最大。③20世纪50年代末以来门多萨地区气温整体呈现极显著的上升趋势(p<0.001),研究区年均最高、最低气温每十年上升0.53、0.29℃。气温持续上升是门多萨流域冰川退缩的长期原因,降水变化是该区域冰川变化的短期原因。本研究为门多萨流域预防冰川变化导致的水资源可用性变化和地质灾害预防提供参考。

The N-NO2 bond dissociation energies （BDEs） for 7 energetic materials were computed by means of accurate density functional theory （B3LYP, B3PW91 and B3P86） with 6-31G＊＊ and 6-311G＊＊ basis sets. By comparing the computed energies and experimental results, we find that the B3P86/6-311G＊＊ method can give good results of BDE, which has the mean absolute deviation of 1.30kcal/mol. In addition, substituent effects were also taken into account. It is noted that the Hammett constants of substituent groups are related to the BDEs of the N-NO2 bond and the bond dissociation energies of the energetic materials studied decrease when increasing the number of NO2 group.

In Mali, cholesteatoma surgery remains a challenge due to the limited number of otological practitioners, and the low socio-economic level of patients reflecting the difficulties in performing CT or MRI for post-operative follow-up. We therefore initiated this work with the objective of analyzing, through a broad bibliographic review, the clinical, paraclinical, topographical, therapeutic and progressive aspects of a series of ear cholesteatoma. Materials and Method: This was a retrospective and prospective, descriptive study that took place in the ENT and head and neck surgery department of the Gabriel Touré University Hospital over 36 months from November 2020 to October 2023. These were patients admitted to the department for chronic cholestematous otitis media. Result: In total, we collected 34 files of patients admitted for cholesteatoma. This represented 9% of cases compared to all otological surgeries carried out during the same period, i.e. 362 cases. The average age of our patients was 35.31 years, with extremes ranging from 7 years to 80 years, there were 24 men and 10 women, i.e. a M/f ratio of 2.4. The average time to diagnosis was 7 years. The main functional signs were dominated by chronic fetid purulent otorrhea associated with hypoacusis in 94.6% of cases. One case of meningeal complication and three cases of cerebral empyema were reported. Clinically, a postero-superior and marginal tympanic perforation was observed in 53%, a retraction pocket in 5.9%, the sentinel polyp in 9%, and a non-marginal tympanic perforation in 32%. Pure-tone audiometry performed preoperatively for all patients showed conductive hearing loss in 83%. In 82% of cases we created a recess with the creation of a mini box. An ossiculoplasty was performed immediately with fragments of cartilage. The postoperative course found the disappearance of otorrhea (88.23%), the persistence of otorrhea in one case, two cases of facial paralysis, and one case of tinnitus. We did not identify

The work studied a non-catalytic upgrading of fast pyrolysis bio-oil by blending under supercritical conditions using methanol,ethanol and isopropanol as solvent and hydrogen *** of the bio-oil and the upgraded bio-oils was carried out including moisture content,elemental content,pH,heating value,gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GCMS),fourier transform infrared radiation,13C nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy,and thermogravimetric analysis to evaluate the effects of blending and supercritical *** GCMS analysis indicated that the supercritical methanol reaction removed the acids in the bio-oil consequently the pH increased from 2.39 in the crude bio-oil to 4.04 after the supercritical methanol *** ester contents increased by 87.49% after the supercritical methanol reaction indicating ester formation could be the major deacidification mechanism for reducing the acidity of the bio-oil and improving its pH *** blending crude bio-oil with isopropanol was effective in increasing the C and H content,reducing the O content and increasing the heating value to 27.55 from 17.51 MJ·kg^-1 in the crude *** the supercritical isopropanol reaction,the heating value o f the liquid product slightly further increased to 28.85 MJ·kg^-1.
