Adsorption mechanisms and the role of different porous and crystalline structures on the removal of five haloacetonitriles(HANs) over hexagonal mesoporous silica(HMS), titanium substituted mesoporous silica(Ti-HMS), rod-shaped SBA-15 and microporous zeolite Na Y were investigated. In addition, the effect of p H on adsorption mechanism and selective adsorption of five HANs individually and in an equimolar mixed solution were *** results indicated that the intraparticle diffusion rate constants of the mesoporous adsorbents were higher than that of the microporous Na Y. In single solute, the order of adsorption preference(highest to lowest) was mono-HANs > di-HANs > tri-HAN. However,in mixed solute, the large molecular weight of the tri-HAN and di-HANs are more easily adsorbed than the smaller molecular weight mono-HANs. Except for SBA-15, the order of adsorption capacities in mixed HANs solute was not different compared to that observed for the single HAN solute, which might be caused by the higher accessibility to the active sites due to larger pore size. The ion-dipole electrostatic interaction was likely to be the main adsorption mechanism, and was favored at high p H values due to the high negative surface charge density of the adsorbent. The molecular structure of the HANs and hydrophilic/hydrophobic nature affected the adsorption capacities and their selective adsorption from mixed solutes.

The maximum specific methanogenic activity （SMA） of a sludge originating from a brewery wastewater treatment plant on the degradation of glucose was investigated at various levels of sulfate on a specific loading basis. Batch experiments were conducted in serum bottles at pH 7 and 35℃. A comparison of the values indicates that the SMA of this mixed culture was increased and reached its highest level of 0.128 g CH4 gas COD/（g VSS.d） when biomass was in contact with sulfate at a ratio of 1：0.114 by weight.

The objective of this study is to determine and compare the heavy metal（Zn,Cu,Cd,Pb） and bacterial（***,coliform and Salmonella spp.） contamination between swine farms utilizing biogas and non-biogas systems in the central part of *** showed that average levels of ***,coliform,BOD,COD,Zn,Cu and Pb in sludge from the post-biogas pond were higher than the standard ***,the levels of ***,coliform,Cd and Pb were also higher than the standard limits for dry *** levels of ***,coliform and BOD on biogas farms were lower than on non-biogas *** isolation of Salmonella spp.,it was found that Salmonella serovars Rissen was the most abundant at 18.46%（12/65）,followed by Anatum 12.31%（8/65）,and Kedougou 9.23%（6/65）.The pathogenic strains of Salmonella serovars Paratyphi B *** and Typhimurium were present in equal amounts at 4.62%（3/65） in samples from all swine *** study revealed that significant reduction in *** and coliform levels in sludge from covered lagoon biogas systems on swine *** presence of Salmonella as well as Cd and Pb,in significant amount in dry manure,suggests that there is a high probability of environmental contamination if it is used for agricultural ***,careful waste and manure disposal from swine farms and the regular monitoring of wastewater is strongly recommended to ensure the safety of humans,other animals and the environment.

This article investigates the power quality enhancement in power system using one of the most famous series converter based FACTS controller like IPFC (Interline Power Flow Controller) in Power Injection Model (PIM). The parameters of PIM are derived with help of the Newton-Raphson power flow algorithm. In general, a sample test power system without FACTs devices has generated more reactive power, decreased real power, more harmonics, small power factor and poor dynamic performance under line and load variations. In order to improve the real power, compensating the reactive power, proficient power factor and excellent load voltage regulation in the sample test power system, an IPFC is designed. The D-Q technique is utilized here to derive the reference current of the converter and its D.C link capacitor voltage is regulated. Also, the reference voltage of the inverter is arrived by park transformation technique and its load voltage is controlled. Here, a sample 230 KV test power system is taken for study. Further as the conventional PI controllers are designed at one nominal operating point they are not competent to respond satisfactorily in dynamic operating conditions. This can be circumvented by a Fuzzy and Neural network based IPFC and its detailed Simulink model is developed using MATLAB and the overall performance analysis is carried out under different operating state of affairs.

Greenhouse system (GHS) is the worldwide fastest growing phenomenon in agricultural sector. Greenhouse models are essential for improving control efficiencies. The Relative Gain Analysis (RGA) reveals that the GHS control is complex due to 1) high nonlinear interactions between the biological subsystem and the physical subsystem and 2) strong coupling between the process variables such as temperature and humidity. In this paper, a decoupled linear cooling model has been developed using a feedback-feed forward linearization technique. Further, based on the model developed Internal Model Control (IMC) based Proportional Integrator (PI) controller parameters are optimized using Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to achieve minimum Integral Square Error (ISE). The closed loop control is carried out using the above control schemes for set-point change and disturbance rejection. Finally, closed loop servo and servo-regulatory responses of GHS are compared quantitatively as well as qualitatively. The results implicate that IMC based PI controller using PSO provides better performance than the IMC based PI controller using GA. Also, it is observed that the disturbance introduced in one loop will not affect the other loop due to feedback-feed forward linearization and decoupling. Such a control scheme used for GHS would result in better yield in production of crops such as tomato, lettuce and broccoli.

In this study the application of kapok as oil sorbent was investigated. The oil sorbent was prepared by mixing kapok with rayon fibers and viscose mixtures, the waste generated from the viscose fiber rayon manufacturing process. Motor oil was used in the oil sorption study. The results indicated that the sorbent, prepared from 100 % by wt of kapok fibers, 14 % by wt of viscose mixtures and 50 grams sodium sulfate, has the highest sorption capacity for motor oil. The sorbents were tested for short test （15 minutes） and long test （24 hours） according to ASTM （F726-06） standard. The sorption capacity was 28.10 and 29.29 g of motor oil/g of sorbent, respectively. After the 6 th cycle of reuse, the sorption capacity decreased to 44 %. Comparison between the prepared sorbent and PP oil sorbent showed that the prepared sorbent performance was better than commercially available PP.

AIM To explore the agreement between the mini-mental state examination(MMSE) and montreal cognitive assessment(Mo CA) within community dwelling older patients attending an old age psychiatry service and to derive and test a conversion formula between the two *** Prospective study of consecutive patients attending outpatient *** tests were administered by the same researcher on the same day in random *** The total sample(n = 135) was randomly divided into two *** to derive a conversion rule(n = 70),and a second(n = 65) in which this rule was *** agreement(Pearson's r) of MMSE and Mo CA was 0.86(P < 0.001),and Lin's concordance correlation coefficient(CCC) was 0.57(95%CI:0.45-0.66).In the second sample Mo CA scores were converted to MMSE scores according to a conversion rule from the first sample which achieved agreement with the original MMSE scoresof 0.89(Pearson's r,P < 0.001) and CCC of 0.88(95%CI:0.82-0.92).CONCLUSION Although the two scales overlap considerably,the agreement is *** conversion rule derived herein demonstrated promising accuracy and warrants further testing in other populations.

随着化石燃料燃烧导致的二氧化碳排放不断加剧气候变化,且化石燃料储量日益减少,寻求可再生能源已成为一项紧迫的任务.其中,藻类衍生可持续燃料因具有成本优势和可运输性,在解决全球能源危机方面展现出广阔前景,备受关注.利用化学转化技术从微藻中提取脂质,并通过酯交换反应可以将其转化为脂肪酸甲酯,是生产绿色生物燃料的有效途径.这一过程涉及游离脂肪酸、磷脂和甘油三酯的提取,并且生产过程能耗低,成为满足日益增长的能源需求的一种理想解决方案.本文综述了微藻脂质提取和酯交换制备生物燃料的相关研究进展.首先,介绍了微藻脂质的提取方法,包括溶剂提取法、索氏提取法、布利格和戴耶法、超临界二氧化碳提取以及离子液体溶剂法等,并分析了各方法的优缺点.随后,重点阐述了酯交换技术在微藻脂质转化中的应用,包括酸碱催化、酶催化以及原位酯交换反应等,并探讨了这些技术的反应机理、催化剂选择、反应器设计以及生物油生产工艺等方面的研究进展.通过综述上述研究进展,为微藻脂质的生产和应用提供了理论指导.研究表明,通过优化催化剂种类、反应条件以及提取方法,可以有效提高微藻脂质的转化效率和生物油品质.同时,本文也指出了当前微藻脂质生产中面临的挑战,如微藻栽培和生长条件优化、高效转化技术的开发等.随着可持续能源日益受到重视,微藻脂质作为一种可再生能源具有巨大的发展潜力.未来研究应进一步关注微藻的规模化栽培、生长条件优化以及高效转化技术的研发,以提高微藻脂质的产量和品质.同时,应进一步推动和实现微藻生物燃料的实际应用,从而为应对气候变化和能源危机提供有效的解决方案.
