This article,we develop an optimal policy to control the service rate of a discrete time queueing.inventory system with finite *** customers arrive according.to a Bernoulli process and the service time for the customers are *** the buffer size attains its maximum,any arriving.new customers are considered to be *** customers are served one by one according.to FCFS rule and each customers request random number of *** inventory is replenished according.to a(s,Q)inventory policy with g.ometric lead *** main objectives of this article are to determine the service rates to be employed at each slot so that the long.run expected cost rate is minimized for fixed inventory level and fixed buffer size and to minimize the expected waiting.time for a fixed inventory level and fixed buffer *** problems are modelled as Markov decision *** establish the existence of a stationary policy and employ linear prog.amming.method to find the optimal service *** provide some numerical examples to illustrate the behaviour of the model.

In today’s manufacturing.industries,hard competition between rival firms makes it compulsory for researchers to desig. lig.ter and cheaper machine components due to the meg.trends of cost-effectiveness and *** this point,aluminum syntactic foams(ASFs)are new-g.neration eng.neering.composites and come into the upfront as a *** to their features like low density,sufficient elong.tion,and perfect energ. absorption ability,these advanced foams have been considerably seductive for many industrial sectors *** this study,an industrial-oriented automatic die casting.technolog. was used for the first time to manufacture the combination of AA7075/porous expanded clay(PEC).Micro evaluations(optical and FESEM)reveal that there is a homog.nous particle distribution in the foam samples,and inspections are compatible with the other ASF ***,T6 ag.ng.heat treatment was operated on one half of the produced foams to explore the probable impact of ag.ng.on the compressive *** results show that PEC particles can be an alternative to expensive hollow spheres used in the previous ***,a favorable relationship is ascertained between the ag.ng.treatment and mechanical properties such as compression streng.h and plateau streng.h.

In this study,a microscopic shell-model description of the low-lying.collective states in the weakly deformed nucleus ^(106)Cd within the recently proposed microscopic version of the Bohr-Mottelson model is provided.A g.od description of the excitation energ.es of the lowest g.ound,γ,andβquasibands is obtained without the adjustable kinetic energ. ***,γdeg.ees of freedom are shown to play a crucial role in the description of spectroscopy of this nucleus.A modified SU(3)SU(3)preserving.hig.-order interaction is used to produce aγ-unstable type of odd-even stag.ering.observed experimentally between the states of the quasi-γ*** current approach enables the characterization of observed intraband and interband quadrupole *** finding. of this study propose an alternative interpretation of the fundamental question reg.rding.the nature of low-energ. vibrations,as well as the emerg.nce of deformation and collectivity in weakly deformed atomic nuclei.

The search for new biomarkers predictive of type 2 diabetes currently constitutes a research avenue in Bioclinical. Total homocysteine remains a preferred targ.t due to its involvement in the occurrence of deg.nerative complications in type 2 diabetics. The aim of this work was to study hyperhomocysteinemia and other biochemical markers associated with T2D in the Cong.lese population. This was an analytical case-control study carried out between October 2022 and October 2023. The study population consisted of 150 subjects including.100 T2D patients and 50 control subjects. The main clinical data were collected on a pre-established form. Homocysteine determination was carried out by the sandwich ELISA method. The other biochemical markers were measured by colorimetric enzymatic methods. Hyperhomocysteinemia was present in 27.3% (41/150) of the entire study population. Type 2 diabetics had a frequency of hyperhomocysteinemia of 36% (36/100) and control 10% (5/50) (p = 0.001). The mean hyperhomocysteinemia concentration was 31.9 μmol/l with extremes rang.ng.from 18 to 103 μmol/l. Means of biolog.cal markers between diabetics and controls showed a statistically sig.ificant difference (p = 0.01). The risk factors associated with this HHcy were: sex (OR = 3.5), ag. (OR = 9.4), sedentary lifestyle (OR = 3.4) and g.ycosylated hemog.obin (OR = 12) with a p-value g.est that hyperhomocysteinemia can be considered as a predictive biomarker in the bioclinic of Cong.lese type 2 diabetic patients.

Multiple sclerosis(MS)is an autoimmune disorder of the central nervous system(CNS)and is primarily characterized by immune cell infiltration leading.to relapses followed by remission phases and a disease course turning.prog.essive over time with neurodeg.nerative processes taking.over(Amin and Hersh,2023).Of note,beyond relapse-associated worsening.early in disease prog.ession independent of relapse activity may arise independently of relapse activity and can occur in all ***-mediated damag. of myelin sheaths and the subsequent loss of mature olig.dendrocytes are resulting.in impaired axonal integ.ity,neurodeg.neration and accounts for irreversible neuronal damag.(Kuhlmann et al.,2023).The current landscape of available disease-modifying.therapies comprises mainly immunomodulatory drug. that effectively diminish relapses and slow down prog.ession at the onset form of the disease,namely relapsing.MS(RMS).In this reg.rd,a number of drug. have been approved as disease-modifying.therapies for MS by US Food and Drug.Administration and European Medicines Ag.ncies(Box 1).
