This paper presents the rigorous study of mobile robot navigation techniques used so *** step by step investigations of classical and reactive approaches are made here to understand the development of path planning strategies in various environmental conditions and to identify research *** classical approaches such as cell decomposition(CD),roadmap approach(rA),artificial potential field(APF);reactive approaches such as genetic algorithm(GA),fuzzy logic(FL),neural network(NN),firefly algorithm(FA),particle swarm optimization(PSO),ant colony optimization(ACO),bacterial foraging optimization(BFO),artificial bee colony(ABC),cuckoo search(CS),shuffled frog leaping algorithm(SFLA)and other miscellaneous algorithms(OMA)are considered for *** navigation over static and dynamic condition is analyzed(for single and multiple robot systems)and it has been observed that the reactive approaches are more robust and perform well in all terrain when compared to classical *** is also observed that the reactive approaches are used to improve the performance of the classical approaches as a hybrid ***,reactive approaches are more popular and widely used for path planning of mobile *** paper concludes with tabular data and charts comparing the frequency of individual navigational strategies which can be used for specific application in robotics.

Evolution of deformation and relaxation behaviors of a prototypical Cu_(46)Zr_(46)A_(l8)metallic glass was explored by extensive creep tests under both physical aging and cyclic *** insights into the microstructure-induced dynamic heterogeneity which accommodates creep deformation were successively revealed via experimental measurements and spectral *** annihilation of local defects within metallic glass with increasing annealing time and cyclic numbers was observed through the reduction of amplitude in both activation energy spectra and relaxation-time spectra,which were also accompanied by an ascending value of β_(KWW).It is further found that the corresponding deformation units within the metallic glass do not disappear permanently,but are recoverable over the course of cyclic *** apparent suppressed relaxation process can be gradually alleviated with increasing resuming time between two consecutive cycles,behaving differently from physical aging,which indicates a notable discrepancy between thermal treatment and mechanical treatment.

Microstructural Evolution of Infrared Brazed CP-Ti Using Ti-Cu-Ni Brazes

Microstructural evolution of infrared vacuum brazed CP-Ti using two Ti-based braze alloys,Ti-15Cu-15Ni and Ti-15Cu-25Ni,has been *** infrared brazed joint consisted of eutectic Ti 2 Cu/Ti 2 Ni intermetallic compounds and Ti-rich *** eutectic Ti 2 Cu/Ti 2 Ni intermetallic compounds disappeared from the joint after being annealed at 900 C for 1 *** contrast,the depletion rate of both Cu and Ni from the braze alloy into CP-Ti substrate at 750 C annealing was greatly decreased as compared with that annealed at 900 *** Ti 2 Cu/Ti 2 Ni phases were observed even if the specimen was annealed at 750 C for 15 *** the Ni content of the Ti-15Cu-25Ni braze alloy is much higher than that of the Ti-15Cu-15Ni alloy,the amount of eutectic Ti 2 Cu/Ti 2 Ni phases in Ti-15Cu-25Ni brazed joint is more than that in Ti-15Ci-15Ni brazed ***,similar microstructural evolution can be obtained from the infrared brazed joint annealed at various temperatures and/or time for both filler metals.

Effect of Deposition Potential on Synthesis, Structural,Morphological and Photoconductivity response of Cu2O Thin Films by Electrodeposition Technique

The present work describes the effect of deposition potentials on structural,morphological,optical,electrical and photoconductivity responses of cuprous oxide(Cu2O)thin films deposited on fluorine-doped tin oxide glass substrate by employing electrodeposition technique.X-ray diffraction patterns reveal that the deposited films have a cubic structure grown along the preferential(111)growth orientation and crystallinity of the film deposited at.0.4 V is improved compared to the films deposited at.0.2,.0.3 and.0.5 *** electron microscopy displays that surface morphology of Cu2O film has a well-defined three-sided pyramid-shaped grains which are uniformly distributed over the surface of the substrates and are significantly changed as a function of deposition *** and photoluminescence spectra manifest that the film deposited at.0.4 V has a good crystal quality with higher acceptor concentration compared to other ***–visible analysis illustrates that the absorption of Cu2O thin film deposited at.0.4 V is notably higher compared to other films and the band gap of Cu2O thin films decreases from 2.1 to 2.04 eV with an increase in deposition potential from.0.2 to.0.5 *** frequency–temperature dependence of impedance analysis shows that the film deposited at.0.4 V has a high conductivity.I– V measurements elucidate that the film deposited at.0.4 V exhibits a good photoconductivity response compared to films deposited in other deposition potentials.

A multispectral camera records image data in various wavelengths across the electromagnetic spectrum to acquire additional information that a conventional camera fails to *** the advent of high-resolution image sensors and color filter technologies,multispectral imagers in the visible wavelengths have become popular with increasing commercial viability in the last ***,multispectral imaging in longwave infrared(LWIr,8-14μm)is still an emerging area due to the limited availability of optical materials,filter technologies,and high-resolution *** from LWIr multispectral cameras can capture emission spectra of objects to extract additional information that a human eye fails to capture and thus have important applications in precision agriculture,forestry,medicine,and object *** this work,we experimentally demonstrate an LWIr multispectral image sensor with three wavelength bands using optical elements made of an aluminum(Al)-based plasmonic filter array sandwiched in germanium(Ge).To realize the multispectral sensor,the filter arrays are then integrated into a three-dimensional(3D)printed wheel stacked on a low-resolution monochrome thermal *** prototype device is calibrated using a blackbody and its thermal output has been enhanced with computer vision *** applying a state-of-theart deep learning method,we have also reconstructed multispectral images to a better spatial ***,our work demonstrates a versatile spectral thermography technique for detecting target signatures in the LWIr range and other advanced spectral analyses.

Origin of raptorial feeding in juvenile euarthropods revealed by a Cambrian radiodontan

The rapid rise of arthropods during the Cambrian quickly established some clades, such as the euarthropod stem-group called radiodonta, as the dominant and most diverse predators in marine ecosystems. recent discoveries have shown that the size and dietary ecology of radiodontans are far more diverse than previously thought, but little is known about the feeding habits of juveniles. Here, we document a very small(～18-mm-long), near-complete specimen of the radiodontan Lyrarapax unguispinus from the early Cambrian Chengjiang Biota of China. This specimen is the smallest radiodontan individual known,representing a juvenile instar. Its adult-like morphology—especially the fully developed spinose frontal appendages and tetraradial oral cone—indicates that L. unguispinus was a well-equipped predator at an early developmental stage, similar to modern raptorial euarthropods, such as mantises, mantis shrimps and arachnids. This evidence, coupled with the basal phylogenetic position of radiodontans, confirms that raptorial feeding habits in juvenile euarthropods appeared early in the evolutionary history of the group.

Experimental analysis of volatile liquid injection into a fluidized bed

Experiments were conducted on a lab-scale fluidized bed to study the distribution of liquid ethanol injected into fluidized catalyst particles. Electrical capacitance measurements were used to study the liquid distribution inside the bed, and a new method was developed to determine the liquid content inside fluidized beds of fluid catalytic cracking particles. The results shed light on the complex liquid injection region and reveal the strong effect of superficial gas velocity on liquid distribution inside the fluidized bed, which is also affected by the imbibition of liquid inside particle pores. Particle internal porosity was found to play a major role when the changing mass of liquid in the bed was monitored. The results also showed that the duration of liquid injection affected liquid-solid contact inside the bed and that liouid-solid mixin~ was not homogeneous durin~ the limited liouid injection time.

Electrostatic beneficiation of fly ash in a free-falling system

A systematic study of fly ash electrostatic beneficiation in a free-falling separation system was carried out to provide fundamental understanding of the separation efficiency for the design of a suitable process for industrial applications. The parameters investigated included feeding position, electric field strength, particle size and moisture content. Particles larger than 105 μm presented the best separation efficiency among four different size fractions, whereas particles smaller than 44μm showed minimal separation. However, sonication treatments helped separation by liberating more carbon from ash particles, although particle sizes were reduced as well. Experiments also showed that exposure to moisture significantly altered charging behavior of fly ash and its subsequent separation due to more free mobile ion-induced charge exchanges. The optimal feeding position was found to be slightly on the side of the negative electrode, leading to a 30% reduction in loss-on-ignition （LOI） and a 45% recovery in a single pass. A simplified mechanical model based on trajectory analysis for charged particles in an electrical field was in reasonable agreement with experimental results.

Feasibility of semi-solid die casting of ADC12 aluminum alloy

The feasibility of semi-solid die casting of ADC12 aluminum alloy was studied. The effects of plunger speed, gate thickness, and solid fraction of the slurry on the defects were determined. The defects investigated are gas and shrinkage porosity. In the experiments, semi-solid slurry was prepared by the gas-induced semi-solid （GISS） technique. Then, the slurry was transferred to the shot sleeve and injected into the die. The die and shot sleeve temperatures were kept at 180 ℃ and 250 ℃, respectively. The results show that the samples produced by the GISS die casting give little porosity, no blister and uniform microstructure. From all the results, it can be concluded that the GISS process is feasible to apply in the ADC12 aluminum die casting process. In addition, the GISS process can give improved properties such as decreased porosity and increased microstructure uniformity.

Predicting the synthesizability of crystalline inorganic materials from the data of known material compositions

reliably identifying synthesizable inorganic crystalline materials is an unsolved challenge required for realizing autonomous materials *** this work,we develop a deep learning synthesizability model(SynthNN)that leverages the entire space of synthesized inorganic chemical *** reformulating material discovery as a synthesizability classification task,SynthNN identifies synthesizable materials with 7×higher precision than with DFT-calculated formation *** a head-to-head material discovery comparison against 20 expert material scientists,SynthNN outperforms all experts,achieves 1.5×higher precision and completes the task five orders of magnitude faster than the best human ***,without any prior chemical knowledge,our experiments indicate that SynthNN learns the chemical principles of charge-balancing,chemical family relationships and ionicity,and utilizes these principles to generate synthesizability *** development of SynthNN will allow for synthesizability constraints to be seamlessly integrated into computational material screening workflows to increase their reliability for identifying synthetically accessible materials.
