Hierarchical core-shell-like mnO2 nanostructures （NSs） were used to anchor mnO2 hexagonal nanoplate arrays （HNPAs） on carbon cloth （CC） fibers. The NSs were prepared by a novel one-step electrochemical deposition method. Under an external cathodic voltage of -2.0 V for 30 min, hierarchical core-shell-like mnO2-NS-decorated mnO2 HNPAs （mnO2 NSs@mnO2 HNPAs） were uniformly grown on CC with reliable adhesion. The phase purity and morphological properties of the samples were characterized by various physicochemical techniques. At a constant external cathodic voltage, growth of mnO2 NSs@mnO2 HNPAs on CC was carried for different time periods. When utilized as a flexible, robust, and binder-free electrode for pseudocapacitors, the hierarchical core-shell-like mnO2 NSs@mnO2 HNPAs on CC showed clearly enhanced electrochemical properties in 1 m Na2SO4 electrolyte solution. The results indicate that the mnO2 NSs@mnO2 HNPAs on CC have a maximum specific capacitance of 244.54 F/g at a current density of 0.5 A/g with excellent cycling stability compared to that of bare mnO2 HNPAs on CC （112.1 F/g at 0.5 A/g current density）. We believe that the superior charge storage performance of the pseudocapacitive electrode can be mainly attributed to the hierarchical mnO2 NSs@mnO2 HNPAs building blocks that have a large specific surface area, offering additional electroactive sites for efficient electrochemical reactions. The facile and single-step approach to growth of hierarchical pseudocapacitive materials on textile based electrodes opens up the possibility for the fabrication of high-performance flexible energy storage devices.

An analysis of the changes in vegetation cover on the territory of the republic of Khakassia in 2000–2021 due to climatic trends was carried out based on the mODIS *** changes in vegetation cover were estimated based on trends in Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI).In general,in the 21st century,an increase in the biomass of vegetation cover is *** trends were observed in 16%–22%of the territory,and negative only in 1%–3%.For about 20%of the analyzed territory,a significant influence of climate on the changes in vegetation cover was *** most pronounced negative impact on vegetation cover was caused by summer air and soil temperatures,spring temperature,and summer winds,and the positive impact was caused by summer precipitation and soil *** response of the vegetation cover to climate was non-uniform concerning the ***,a significant correlation with the amount of precipitation was observed for~20%–35%of vegetation growing below 600 m above sea level and for less than 5%above this *** negative effect of summer temperatures on plants prevailed mainly at an elevation below~1400 m above sea *** climate change is likely to lead to significant degradation of vegetation in the steppe and foreststeppe in Khakassia in the coming decades.

Embryonic stem cells （ESCs） maintain their cellular identity through the systematic regulation of master transcription factors and chromatin remodeling complexes. recent work has shown that the unusually large-scale enhancers-namely super-enhancers （SEs）, on which BrD4, a member of the bromodomain and extraterminal domain （BET） family is highly enriched-could regulate pluripotency-related transcrip- tion factors. moreover, inhibition of BrD4 binding on SEs has been shown to induce the differentiation of ESCs. However, the underlying mechanism of BrD4 inhibition-mediated stern cell differentiation remains elusive. Here we show that both mouse and human ESCs lose their capacity for self-renewal upon treat- ment with JQ1, a selective inhibitor of BET family including BrD4, with rapid suppression of pluripotency-associated genes. Notably, a high concentration of JQI could selectively eliminate ESCs via apoptosis, without affecting the functionality of differentiated somatic cells from ESCs, suggesting that inhibition of BET may have a beneficial effect on the development of pluripotent stem cell-based cell therapy.

Sodium ion batteries (SIBs) are alternatives to lithium ion batteries (lIBs), and offer some significant benefits such as cost reduction and a lower environmental impact;however, to compete with lIBs, further research is required to improve the performance of SIBs. In this study, an orthorhombic Na super ionic conductor structural Fe_(2)(moO_(4))_(3) nanosheet with amorphous-crystalline core-shell alignment was synthesized using a facile low-temperature water-vapor-assisted solid-state reaction and applied as a cathode material for SIBs. The obtained material has a well-defined three-dimensional stacking structure, and exhibits a high specific capacity of 87.8 mAh·g^(−1) at a current density of 1 C = 91 mA·g^(−1) after 1,000 cycles, which is due to the considerable contribution of extra surface-related reaction such as the pseudo-capacitive process. This material shows significantly improved cycling and rated behavior as well as enhanced performance under high- and low-temperature conditions, as compared to the same materials prepared by the conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction. This enhancement is explained by the unique morphology in combination with the improved kinetics of the electrochemical reaction due to its lower charge transfer resistance and higher sodium ion conductivity.

let （m, ω） be a closed symplectic 2n-dimensional manifold. Donaldson in his paper showed that there exist 2m-dimensional symplectie submanifolds （V^2m,ω） of （m,ω）, 1 ≤m ≤ n - 1, with （m - 1）-equivalent inclusions. On the basis of this fact we obtain isomorphic relations between kernel of lefschetz map of m and kernels of lefschetz maps of Donaldson submanifolds V^2m, 2 ≤ m ≤ n - 1. Then, using this relation, we show that the flux group of m is discrete if the action of π1 （m） on π2（m） is trivial and there exists a retraction r ： m→ V, where V is a 4-dimensional Donaldson submanifold. And, in the symplectically aspherical case, we investigate the flux groups of the manifolds.

The phenomenon of tree waves （hedges and ribbons） formation within the alpine ecotone in Altai mountains and its response to observed air temperature increase was considered. At the upper limit of tree growth Siberian pine （Pinus sibirica） forms hedges on windward slopes and ribbons on the leeward ones. Hedges were formed by prevailing winds and oriented along winds direction. ribbons were formed by snow blowing and accumulating on the leeward slope and perpendicular to the prevailing winds, as well as to the elevation gradient. Hedges were always linked with microtopography features, whereas ribbons were not. Trees are migrating upward by waves and new ribbons and hedges are forming at or near tree line, whereas at lower elevations ribbons and hedges are being transformed into dosed forests. Time series of high-resolution satellite scenes （from 1968 to 2OlO） indicated an upslope shift in the position ribbons averaged 155＋26 m （or 3-7 m yr^-1） and crown closure increased （about 35%-90%）. The hedges advance was limited by poor regeneration establishment and was negligible. regeneration within the ribbon zone was approximately 2.5 times （5060 vs 2120 ha^-1） higher then within the hedges zone. During the last four decades, Siberian pine in both hedges and ribbons strongly increased its growth increment, and recent tree growth rate for 50 year-old trees was about twice higher than those recorded for similarly-aged trees at the beginning of the 20^th century. Hedges and ribbons are phenomena that are widespread within the southern and northern Siberian mountains.

In designing efficient perovskite solar cells(PSCs),the selection of suitable electron transport layers(ETls)is critical to the final device performance as they determine the driving force for selective charge ***_(2)nanoparticles(NPs)based ETls have been a popular choice for PSCs due to superior electron mobility,but their relatively deep-lying conduction band energy levels(ECB)result in substantial potential ***,TiO_(2)NPs establish favorable band alignment owing to shallower ECB,but their low intrinsic mobility and abundant surface trap sites impede the final *** this reason,constructing a cascaded bilayer ETl is highly desirable for efficient PSCs,as it can rearrange energy levels and exploit on advantages of an individual *** this study,we prepare SnO_(2)NPs and acetylacetone-modified TiO_(2)(Acac-TiO_(2))NPs and implement them as bilayer SnO_(2)/Acac-TiO_(2)(BST)ETl,to assemble cascaded energy band ***_(2)contributes to rapid charge carrier transport from high electron mobility while Acac-TiO_(2)minimizes band-offset and effectively suppresses interfacial ***,the optimized BST ETl generates synergistic influence and delivers power conversion efficiency(PCE)as high as 23.14%with open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))reaching 1.14 ***,the BST ETl is transferred to a large scale and the corresponding mini module demonstrates peak performance of 18.39%PCE from 25 cm^(2)aperture ***,the BST-based mini module exhibit excellent stability,maintaining 83.1%of its initial efficiency after 1000 h under simultaneous 1 Sun light-soaking and damp heat(85℃/rH 85%)environment.
