The effects of reduction in area(RA)per pass during caliber rolling on microstructure and strain distribution of twinninginduced plasticity steel have been investigated to find solutions to make a more homogeneous material along the radial direction for wire rod *** steel wires subjected to an average RA per pass of 2.5%(skin pass caliber rolling)and 10.0%(conventional caliber rolling)were *** skin pass caliber-rolled wire was characterized as a duplex fiber texture of majorand minor.and the textures were almost same at/between center and surface area,which is totally different from those of conventional caliber rolling and wire *** skin pass caliber rolling led to more homogeneous microstructure and mechanical properties along the radial direction in comparison with the conventional caliber rolling and wire drawing due to the more homogeneous Hall-Petch hardening,dislocation hardening,and texture behavior with area,resulting in higher formability.

The applicability of Ce and Y as promising candidate elements to form irreversible traps in weld metal was investigated by thermal desorption spectroscopy(TDS) with gas chromatography(GC). The precise nature of the precipitate particles newly formed in the weld metal by the addition of Ce and Y to a certain alloy system was characterized. Moreover,the hydrogen trapping efficiency expressed as the reduction of the diffusible hydrogen in the weld metal was analyzed. The results showed that the addition of Ce and/or Y to this alloy system led to the formation of a mixed type of(Ce,Ti)-based oxide,(Y,Ni)-based carbide,or(Ce,Y,Ti)-based oxide particles. Because of the high activation energy of the mixed type of particles(≥ 150 k J/mol),the trapping efficiency for hydrogen was considered to be sufficiently high to effectively reduce the diffusible hydrogen content.

BACKGROUND Mucinous adenocarcinomas of the buttock are rare and have an uncertain etiology and natural *** are usually related to chronic anal fistulas,hidradenitis suppurativa,or Crohn's ***,we report a case of mucinous adenocarcinoma associated with hidradenitis and contradictory immunochemistry *** SUMMARY A 62-year-old man complained of recurrent abscesses of the buttock for 3 *** had several scars and nodules in bilateral buttocks,with purulent *** skin lesions did not appear to originate from the *** patient was diagnosed with recurrent abscesses due to hidradenitis suppurativa at the first *** showed purulent and subsequent mucin discharge in the first operation and was diagnosed with mucinous *** examinations were performed to determine disease origin and *** were no significant findings or evidence of anal ***,he underwent wide local excision and V-Y advancement flap in the second *** final diagnosis was mucinous adenocarcinoma without any evidence of anal *** immunochemistry test results were negative for cytokeratin(CK)7 and positive for CK20 and CDX2,with a colorectal origin.A pathologist suggested that the disease originated from a chronic anal *** patient has remained free of recurrence for 24 *** Although the patient with mucinous adenocarcinoma showed an atypical course,immunochemistry helped detect the disease origin.

Morphology Control of Bi2S3 Nanostructures and the Formation Mechanism

Bismuthinite （Bi2S3）nanostructures were prepared by a hydrothermal method with sodium ethylenediamine- tetraacetate （EDTA-Na2）. The morphology of Bi2S3 nanostructures was changed from a nanorod to a nanoplate by presence of the EDTA-Na2. The altered morphology was caused by the capping effect of EDTA-Na2 with Bi3＋ ions, which induces the suboptimal growth direction due to partially blocking the preferential orientation direction. When the EDTA-Na2/Bi3＋ molar ratio= 1, the growth of Bi2S3 nanostructures was not allowed due to the chelating effect of EDTA-Na2. The obtained Bi2S3 nanorods, stacked nanorods, nanoplates and nanoparticles were characterized using X-ray diffraction （XRD）, transmission electron microscopy （TEM）, high-resolution transmission electron mi- croscopy （HRTEM） and selected area electron diffraction （SAED） pattern. A possible formation mechanism of these morphologies was proposed. The successful synthesis of various morphologies of nanostructured Bi2S3 may open up new possibilities for thermoelectric, electronic and optoelectronic uses of nanodevices based on Bi2S3 nanostructure.

The western flower thrips(WFT;Frankliniella occidentalis)is a mesophyll cell feeder that damages many *** of WFT is complex due to factors such as high fecundity,short reproduction time,ability to feed on a broad range of host plants,and broad pesticide *** challenges have driven research into developing alternative pest control approaches for *** study analyzed the feasibility of a biological control-based strategy to manage WFT using RNA interference(RNAi)-mediated silencing of WFT endogenous *** the delivery of RNAi,we developed transgenic tomato lines expressing double-stranded RNA(dsRNA)of coatomer protein subunit epsilon(CopE)and Toll-like receptor 6(TLR6)from *** genes are involved in critical biological processes of WFT,and their dsRNA can be lethal to these insects when ingested *** WFT that fed on the transgenic dsRNAexpressing tomato flower stalk showed increased mortality compared with insects that fed on wild-type *** addition,WFT that fed on TLR6 and CopE transgenic tomato RNAi lines showed reduced levels of endogenous CopE and TLR6 transcripts,suggesting that their mortality was likely due to RNAi-mediated silencing of these ***,our findings demonstrate that transgenic tomato plants expressing dsRNA of TLR6 and CopE can be lethal to ***,suggesting that these genes may be deployed to control insecticide-resistant WFT.

＜正＞Objectives: Human sodium iodide symporter （hNIS） is naturally present in the plasma membrane of human thyroid cells, which mediates the active transport of iodide. The aim of this study was to explore the possibility of imaging the adenovirus-mediated gene transfer of hNIS by Tc-99m pertechnetate （TcO4） scintigraphy in mice. Methods: Replication-defective recombinant adenovirus was prepared, which encoded either hNIS （Rad-hNIS） or LacZ （Rad-LacZ） gene expression cassette. hNIS gene expression was examined by western blotting in hNIS defective thyroid cancer cell line （FRO） infected with Rad-hNIS 48hr post-infection. The uptake of TcO4 was then evaluated by adding the tracer to culture media. To monitor hNIS expression in vivo, 9 to 12wk-old balb/c mice were injected with Tris buffer only, 2x108, 1x109 infectious particles （IP） of Rad-hNIS, or 1x109 IP of Rad-LacZ via tail vein （n=5-7 for each group）. Forty-eight hrs later, 3.7 MBq of TcO4 was injected intraperitoneally and whole body images were obtained for 1 hr. Then, mice were sacrificed for the biodistribution of TcO4 and the measurement of hNIS mRNA by RT-PCR. Results: hNIS protein was readily detected in the FRO cells infected with Rad-hNIS at 10 MOI. TcO4 uptake increased gradually as the cells were infected with increasing Rad-hNIS （96.5±51.4, 266.9±91.3, and 558.6±160.7-fold increase at MOI 5, 20, 100, respectively）. Sodium perchlorate inhibited the uptake completely. Scintigraphic and biodistribution studies clearly revealed high hepatic uptake of TcO4 （22.7□11.2 % injected dose/g） in mice injected with 1x109 IP of Rad-hNIS, which was significantly higher （p ＜ 0.01） than that in mice injected with Tris buffer （7.4 □0.5）, 2x108 IP of Rad-hNIS （8.5 □2.7）, or 1x109 IP of Rad-LacZ （5.8 □0.8）. A critical challenge hindering the practical application of lithium–oxygen batteries(LOBs)is the inevitable problems associated with liquid electrolytes,such as evaporation and safety *** study addresses these problems by proposing a modified polyrotaxane(mPR)-based solid polymer electrolyte(SPE)design that simultaneously mitigates solvent-related problems and improves ***-SPE exhibits high ion conductivity(2.8×10^(−3)S cm^(−1)at 25℃)through aligned ion conduction pathways and provides electrode protection ability through hydrophobic chain *** this mPR-SPE into solid-state LOBs resulted in stable potentials over 300 *** situ Raman spectroscopy reveals the presence of an LiO_(2)intermediate alongside Li_(2)O_(2)during oxygen *** situ X-ray diffraction confirm the ability of the SPE to hinder the permeation of oxygen and moisture,as demonstrated by the air permeability *** present study suggests that maintaining a low residual solvent while achieving high ionic conductivity is crucial for restricting the sub-reactions of solid-state LOBs.

考察生态危机的起源,将对评估目前的环境形势和处理这种严峻形势的方式产生重大影响。通常认为,生态危机起源于包括诸如资本主义、市场经济、科学技术的发展等因素在内的现代工业,以及基督教关于创造的教义引发的西方人与自然关系的观念,因此不能期望单纯从技术方面找到生态危机的解决方法。环境历史将生态视野纳入其对世界历史论述的方法论原则之中。它致力于描述从史前到现在,从最初的农业社会甚至古代文明之前所造成的灾难性环境影响到工业时代和后工业时代各种形式的生态灾难的“人类与自然之间互动的历史”。环境世界历史,从时间到空间的维度给了我们一个关于生存的人类生态概要。它使我们能够理解过去地球上人类为了生存而产生的人与自然之间生态互动的根本意义,以及生态形势对每一个历史阶段政治和经济产生的种种影响。生态危机的起源并不能只从现代工业时代之后去考察,单纯用基督教关于创造的教义也无法充分解释我们关于人与自然的意识形态概念。本文认为,环境历史是一门新兴的科学,可以从中找寻解决生态危机的答案。
