Phenylboronic acid (PBA) based glucose-responsive materials have attracted great interests in recent years for developing insulin delivery *** is desired to obtain PBA based materials that can response to glucose under physiological pH and understand the *** using 11B triple-quantum magic-angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (11B 3Q MAS NMR) measurements,the glucose-responsive mechanism of micelles self-assembled from poly(ethylene glycol)-b-ploy(acrylic acid-co-acrylamidophenylboronic acid) PEG-b-P(AA-co-AAPBA) is deeply *** configurations of phenylboronic acid during various steps of glucose-responsive behaviors are clearly analyzed in the 11B 3Q MAS NMR spectra and coordination between carboxyl and PBA is *** increasing the AA units in PEG-b-P(AA-co-AAPBA),the carboxyl can coordinate with PBA moieties and cause the glucose-responsiveness of micelles even in the weak acid environment.

Antifogging and antibacterial properties of amphiphilic coatings based on zwitterionic copolymers

Tackling fogging and microbial infection problems related to the endoscope lens remain challenges due to visual disturbances and bacterial threats to human ***,highly transparent antifogging and antibacterial coatings were developed in a facile way by thermal curing of zwitterionic copolymers poly(n-butyl methacrylate-co-2-aminoethyl methacrylate-co-sulfobetaine methacrylate)s with 1,3,*** of surface chemical composition and wettability suggested that the copolymer coatings exhibited amphiphilicity with a hydrophobic surface and internal *** prepared amphiphilic coating exhibited excellent antifogging properties both in vivo and in *** introduction of hydrophobic n-butyl methacrylate and cationic aminoethylmethacrylate could improve the stability and antibacterial capability of the *** growth inhibition rates of the coatings against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli were up to 99%and the copolymer coatings with the zwitterionic groups had low hemolytic rates less than 3%.The amphiphilic copolymer coatings combined antifogging and antibacterial properties may have a promising potential for applications in biomedical devices.

Heteroatom-doped carbon-based transition-metal single-atom catalysts(SACs) are promising electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR). Herein, with the aid of hierarchically porous silica as hard template, a facile and general melting perfusion and mesopore-confined pyrolysis method was reported to prepare single-atomic Fe/N–S-doped carbon catalyst(FeNx/NC-S) with hierarchically porous structure and well-defined morphology. The FeNx/NC-S exhibited excellent ORR activity with a half-wave potential(E_(1/2)) of 0.92 V, and a lower overpotential of 320 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2)for OER under alkaline condition. The remarkable electrocatalysis performance can be attributed to the hierarchically porous carbon nanospheres with S doping and high content of Fe-Nx sites(up to 3.7 wt% of Fe), resulting from the nano-confinement effect of the hierarchically porous silica spheres(NKM-5) during the pyrolysis process. The rechargeable Zn-air battery with FeNx/NC-S as a cathode catalyst demonstrated a superior power density of 194.5 mW cm-2charge–discharge stability. This work highlights a new avenue to design advanced SACs for efficient sustainable energy storage and conversion.

Nanoporous silica with unusual interior composite cells was synthesized with synthetic block copolypeptide Phe20-b-PBLG50 as template for the first time. Anilino-methyl triethoxy silane (AMTS) was used as an intermedium to interact with block co-polypeptide Phe20-b-PBLG50 through π-π interaction between the phenyl groups of block copolypeptide and those of AMTS. Meanwhile, AMTS co-condenses together with tetraethoxylsilane (TEOS) after hy-drolysis. The structure of composite vesicles due to the self-assembly of block copolypeptide in the or-ganic solvent was immobilized and transcribed by the formation of silica. The formation of nanopores could be ascribed to the secondary structure of block co-polypeptide and small molecular amine. Our results provide a new avenue to synthesize porous oxide materials with novel interior structures templated by the copolypeptide self-assembly under ambient con-ditions.

The solid stale C13-NMR spectra of different ACFs from various precursor fiberswere recorded in this paper. The effects of activation conditions on chemical structuresOf ACFs, as well as the changes of chemical structures during carbonization and redoxreaction were investigated by NMR technique. At same time, the solid state P31-NMRspectra of ACFs are studied The C13-NMR spectra of ACFs can be divided into sixbands that are assigned to methyl and methylene groups, hydroxyl and ether groups,acetal (or methylenedioxy carbon, graphite-like aromatic carbon structure, phenol,and quinone groups, respectively. Only phosphorous pentoxide exists on ACFs andCFs. Moreover, most of them are stuck over the crystal face but not at the edge ofgraphite-like micro-crystaL The carbonization and activation conditions affect theC13-NMR spectra of ACFs. The experimental results indicate that the redox reactionof ACFs with oxidants greatly consumes C-H group.

Nonprecious metal-based oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalysts with high efficiency in both alkaline and acidic media are being intensively studied for the purpose of replacing expensive Pt-based catalysts;however,it is still a challenge to achieve superior ORR performances,especially in acidic ***,by pyrolysis of mixed precursors of diammonium phosphate,melamine and hemin,we prepared a nanocomposite catalyst(denoted as FeP@PGL)composed of nitrogen-doped carbon nanosheets with embedded FeP nanoparticles(NPs),which were encapsulated by in-situ formed phosphorus-doped graphene *** is found that phosphorous was preferentially doped in the coating layers on FeP NPs,instead of in the carbon *** FeP@PGL catalyst exhibited excellent ORR performance,with the onset and half-wave potential up to 1.01 and 0.90 V *** reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)in alkaline media,and0.95 and 0.81 V *** in acidic media,*** thorough microscopy and spectroscopy characterizations,the interfacial charge transfer between the encapsulated FeP NPs and P-doped graphene layers was identified,and the local work function of the catalyst surface was also reduced by the interfacial *** interfacial synergy between the encapsulated FeP and phosphorus-doped graphene layers was essential to enhance the ORR *** study not only demonstrates the promising ORR properties of the encapsulated-FeP-based nanocomposite catalyst,but also provides direct evidence of the interfacial charge transfer effect and its role in ORR process.

采用以聚电解质/表面活性剂复合物介晶为模板引导无机硅源前驱体组装的方法,首次合成了具有多级孔结构的介孔二氧化硅SBA-1的单晶颗粒。改变合成条件可调变多级孔结构介孔二氧化硅的形貌及结构,由此合成了一系列具有多级孔结构的介孔二氧化硅样品,并通过直接掺杂法合成了多级结构的介孔杂原子分子筛,并将其应用在催化反应中。将此方法应用于介孔沸石的合成中,成功合成了介孔沸石Silicalite-1。结果表明,聚电解质/表面活性剂为动态模板制备的多级孔结构材料具有单晶体的特征,同时还具有二次孔,有利于物质传输以及物料扩散。与单一孔道的介孔及沸石材料相比,具有多级孔结构的材料在催化、吸附等应用中均表现出优越的性能。

系统回顾了缠结定义的演化及对其表征的各种方法,比较了这些方法的特点和不足.在以往研究的基础上,发展了一套在分子尺度上表征玻璃态高分子链互穿的方法.该方法结合高速魔角和偶极滤波,用固体1H-NMR探测互穿区域的质子信号,表征了玻璃态聚苯乙烯的链互穿程度.该方法在0.5 nm尺度范围内测定了分子链间的距离,且与以往方法相比,该方法具有耗时短、需要样品量少、灵敏度和信噪比高等优点.
