BACKGROUND Sarcomatoid carcinoma of the pancreas is extremely rare and has an extremely poor *** a few cases of sarcomatoid carcinoma of pancreas have been reported,most are focused on a histopathological *** the best of our knowledge,there are no reports documenting multimodality imaging characteristics and chronological changes with emphasis on radiologic *** SUMMARY A 64-year-old woman was admitted to Chungnam National University Hospital with acute ***-enhanced computed tomography of the abdomen revealed a 2.6 cm×2.8 cm multilobular cystic mass in the pancreatic *** pancreatic lesion showed suspected mural nodules and thin ***,mucinous cystic neoplasm of pancreas was *** 7 mo,the patient was readmitted for repeated epigastric abdominal pain and ***-up contrast-enhanced computed tomography of the abdomen and magnetic resonance imaging revealed a marked enlargement(5.4 cm×4 cm),with a predominant internal solid *** mass showed low signal intensity on a T1-weighted image and heterogeneously intermediate high signal intensity on a T2-weighted image. It showed diffusion restriction and peripheral rimenhancement on an arterial phase image, and progressive enhancement on portalvenous and delayed phase images. Distal pancreatectomy was performed. Inspired by the multi-layer architecture of mammal skins,interfacial robust,stretchable,and entirely healable gel-elastomer hybrids hold great potential in diverse fields including biomedical devices,wearable electrical devices,and soft ***,existing gel-elastomer hybrids have numerous limitations including low interfacial bonding toughness,complex and time-consuming preparation process,unhealable,and ***,we propose a simple and general chemical strategy through the interfacial dynamic bonding between gel and elastomer to simultaneously address the abovementioned *** covalent bonds readily and repeatably covalent bonding ionogel and elastomer(interfacial toughness:390 J m^(-2)),endowed the hybrids with entire self-healing features like skin and enabled discretionary assembly and ***,this strategy resolved the troublesome contradiction between interfacial stability and *** advantage of the aforementioned features,we readily constructed a multi-module,self-healing,self-powered,and realtime monitoring of personal status integrated elastic electronics,which could simply reconfigure the output signal of elastic electronics into an input signal of the devices-braille keyboard.

OFDMA-Based Unsourced Random Access in LEO Satellite Internet of Things

This paper investigates the low earth orbit(LEO)satellite-enabled coded compressed sensing(CCS)unsourced random access(URA)in orthogonal frequency division multiple access(OFDMA)framework,where a massive uniform planar array(UPA)is equipped on the *** LEO satellite communications,unavoidable timing and frequency offsets cause phase shifts in the transmitted signals,substantially diminishing the decoding performance of current terrestrial CCS URA *** cope with this issue,we expand the inner codebook with predefined timing and frequency offsets and formulate the inner decoding as a tractable compressed sensing(CS)***,we leverage the inherent sparsity of the UPA-equipped LEO satellite angular domain channels,thereby enabling the outer decoder to support more active ***,the outputs of the outer decoder are used to reduce the search space of the inner decoder,which cuts down the computational complexity and accelerates the convergence of the inner *** results verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

High-Efficiency Dynamic Terahertz Deflector Utilizing a Mechanically Tunable Metasurface

Terahertz (THz) wave manipulation, especially the beam deflection, plays an essential role in various applications, such as next-generation communication, space exploration, and high-resolution imaging. Current THz optical components and devices are hampered by their large bulk sizes and passive responses, limiting the development of high-performance, miniaturized THz microsystems. Tunable metasurfaces offer a powerful dynamic optical platform for controlling the propagation of electromagnetic waves. In this article, we presented a mechanically tunable metasurface (MTM), which can achieve terahertz beam deflection and vary the intensity of the anomalous reflected terahertz wave by changing the air gap between the metallic resonator (MR) array with phase discontinuities and Au ground plane. The absence of lossy spacer materials substantially enhances deflection efficiency. The device was fabricated by a combination of the surface and bulk-micromachining processes. The THz beam steering capability was characterized using terahertz time domain spectroscopy. When the air gap is 50 μm, the maximum deflection coefficient reaches 0.60 at 0.61 THz with a deflection angle of ~44.5°, consistent with theoretical predictions. We further established an electrically tunable miniaturized THz device for dynamic beam steering by introducing a micro voice coil motor to control the air gap continuously. It is shown that our designed MTM demonstrates a high modulation depth of deflection coefficient (~ 62.5%) in the target steered angle at the operating frequency. Our results showcase the potential of the proposed MTM as a platform for high-efficiency THz beam manipulation.

Design study of charge-stripping scheme of heavy ion beams for HIAF-BRing

Charge strippers play an essential role in heavy-ion accelerators by stripping the projectile ions to higher charge states to enhance the acceleration efficiency downstream of the *** the high-energy mode of the booster ring(BRing)of the high-intensity heavy-ion accelerator facility,the pre-accelerated ions from the iLinac will be stripped by a carbon foil to higher charge states and then injected into the *** key parameters of the stripper and stripped ions were calculated,and the influence of stripping on the beam quality was *** get high stripping efficiencies,the foil thicknesses and resultant charge state distributions for the typical ions were determined by the code *** equilibrium thickness was obtained for the U beam,while the stripper thicknesses for the Xe and Kr beams were determined based on a compromise between the stripped charge states and the stripping *** energy loss,energy straggling,and emittance growth due to stripping have a non-negligible impact on the transport of the stripped beams and the injection of the ***,these parameters were simulated by *** addition,the foil’s temperature evolution,which greatly affects the foil lifetime,was simulated by *** maximum temperature of the foil bombarded by the U and Xe beams with the nominal parameters will exceed the safe value in terms of the impact of evaporation on the foil’s *** the foil temperature constraint,the highest tolerable beam intensity and the injected ion number into the ring were derived for different beam *** results of this paper will present important reference data for the optimization design and commissioning of the beamline and injection to the BRing for the stripped ions.

Hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff optimization of multiple horizontal wells with complex fracture networks in the M unconventional reservoir

The oil production of the multi-fractured horizontal wells(MFHWs) declines quickly in unconventional oil reservoirs due to the fast depletion of natural energy. Gas injection has been acknowledged as an effective method to improve oil recovery factor from unconventional oil reservoirs. Hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff becomes preferable when the CO_(2) source is limited. However, the impact of complex fracture networks and well interference on the EOR performance of multiple MFHWs is still unclear. The optimal gas huff-n-puff parameters are significant for enhancing oil recovery. This work aims to optimize the hydrocarbon gas injection and production parameters for multiple MFHWs with complex fracture networks in unconventional oil reservoirs. Firstly, the numerical model based on unstructured grids is developed to characterize the complex fracture networks and capture the dynamic fracture ***, the PVT phase behavior simulation was carried out to provide the fluid model for numerical simulation. Thirdly, the optimal parameters for hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff were obtained. Finally, the dominant factors of hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff under complex fracture networks are obtained by fuzzy mathematical method. Results reveal that the current pressure of hydrocarbon gas injection can achieve miscible displacement. The optimal injection and production parameters are obtained by single-factor analysis to analyze the effect of individual parameter. Gas injection time is the dominant factor of hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff in unconventional oil reservoirs with complex fracture networks. This work can offer engineers guidance for hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff of multiple MFHWs considering the complex fracture networks.
