Entropy production in quasi-isentropic compression (QIC) is critically important for understanding the properties of materials under extremeconditions. However, the origin and accurate quantification of entropy in this situation remain long-standing challenges. In this work, a framework is established for the quantification of entropy production and partition, and their relation to microstructural change in QIC. Cu50Zr50is taken as a model material, and its compression is simulated by molecular dynamics. On the basis of atomistic simulation-informed physicalproperties and free energy, the thermodynamic path is recovered, and the entropy production and its relation to microstructural change aresuccessfully quantified by the proposed framework. Contrary to intuition, entropy production during QIC of metallic glasses is relativelyinsensitive to the strain rate ˙γ when ˙γ ranges from 7.5 × 10^(8) to 2 × 10^(9)/s, which are values reachable in QIC experiments, with a magnitudeof the order of 10^(−2)kB/atom per GPa. However, when ˙γ is extremely high (>2 × 10^(9)/s), a notable increase in entropy production rate with˙γ is observed. The Taylor–Quinney factor is found to vary with strain but not with strain rate in the simulated regime. It is demonstrated thatentropy production is dominated by the configurational part, compared with the vibrational part. In the rate-insensitive regime, the increase inconfigurational entropy exhibits a linear relation to the Shannon-entropic quantification of microstructural change, and a stretched exponential relation to the Taylor–Quinney factor. The quantification of entropy is expected to provide thermodynamic insights into the fundamentalrelation between microstructure evolution and plastic dissipation.

Background Culex pipiens pallens andCulex pipiens quinquefasciatus are the dominant species ofCulex mosquitoes in China and important disease vectors. Long-term use of insecticides can cause mutations in the voltage-gated sodium channel (vgsc) gene of mosquitoes, but little is known about the current status and evolutionary origins ofvgsc gene in different geographic populations. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the current status ofvgsc genes inCx. p. pallens andCx. p. quinquefasciatus in China and to investigate the evolutionary inheritance of neighboring downstream introns of thevgsc gene to determine the impact of insecticides on long-term *** Sampling was conducted from July to September 2021 in representative habitats of 22 provincial-level administrative divisions in China. Genomic DNA was extracted from 1308 mosquitoes, the IIS6 fragment of thevgsc gene on the nerve cell membrane was amplified using polymerase chain reaction, and the sequence was used to evaluate allele frequency and knockdown resistance (kdr) frequency. MEGA 11 was used to construct neighborjoining (NJ) tree. PopART was used to build a TCS *** There were 6 alleles and 6 genotypes at the L1014 locus, which included the wild-type alleles TTA/L and CTA/L and the mutant alleles TTT/F, TTC/F, TCT/S and TCA/S. The geographic populations with akdr frequency less than 20.00% were mainly concentrated in the regions north of 38° N, and the geographic populations with akdr frequency greater than 80.00% were concentrated in the regions south of 30° *** frequency increased with decreasing latitude. 基于演化博弈论分别构建了无线资源管理中功率控制和垂直切换的形式化模型,设计了一种基于定价机制的功率控制收益函数,根据3GPP对无线通信业务的分类,将切换判决过程划分为4个不同层次,降低了切换决策的复杂性,定义了目标网络的代价函数,将网络参数划分为成本型参数和收益型参数两类,并对其进行归一化处理,实现了异构网络参数比较的公平性.证明了功率控制博弈和垂直切换博弈中存在唯一的演化稳定策略,给出了基于演化博弈论的功率控制算法和垂直切换方案.仿真结果表明,给出的功率控制算法减少了网络中隐终端的数目,提高了网络容量;垂直切换方案既可以减少切换发生的频率,增加网络选择的准确性,又使运营商与用户之间的利益得到平衡.

Crystallineγ-Ga_(2)O_(3)@rGO core-shell nanostructures are synthesized in gram scale,which are accomplished by a facile sonochemical strategy under ambient *** are composed of uniformγ-Ga_(2)O_(3)nanospheres encapsulated by reduced graphene oxide(rGO)nanolayers,and their formation is mainly attributed to the existed opposite zeta potential between the Ga_(2)O_(3)and *** as-constructed lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)based on as-fabricatedγ-Ga_(2)O_(3)@rGO nanostructures deliver an initial discharge capacity of 1000 mAh g^(-1)at 100 mA g^(-1)and reversible capacity of 600 mAh g^(-1)under 500 mA g^(-1)after 1000 cycles,respectively,which are remarkably higher than those of pristineγ-Ga_(2)O_(3)with a much reduced lifetime of 100 cycles and much lower *** situ XRD and XPS analyses demonstrate that the reversible LIBs storage is dominant by a conversion reaction and alloying mechanism,where the discharged product of liquid metal Ga exhibits self-healing ability,thus preventing the destroy of ***,the rGO shell could act robustly as conductive network of the electrode for significantly improved conductivity,endowing the efficient Li storage *** work might provide some insight on mass production of advanced electrode materials under mild condition for energy storage and conversion applications.

Redox-active organic materials are capturing growing attention as cathode materials for sustainable alkaline metal ion ***,the storage of Na+in most organic materials-based cathodes is plagued by low capacity and unsatisfying rate performance due to their low active site densities and limited exposed active ***,two polyimide-linked covalent organic frameworks(COFs),namely HATN-PD-COF and HATN-TAB-COF,were fabricated from hydrothermal synthesis with redoxactive triphenylene-2,3,6,7,10,11-hexacarboxylic acid and aromatic amines as starting *** X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy analysis indicate the high crystalline nature of these COFs with AA stacking configuration and orderly mesoporous tunnel.N_(2) sorption measurement discloses the permanent porosity of these two COFs with a Brunauer-EmmettTeller surface area of 1,065-1,200 m^(2)g^(-1)and a large pore size of 2.0-3.1 *** intermittent titration technique and density functional theory calculations reveal the facile Na+ion diffusion along the mesoporous tunnel of these COFs with a small energy barrier of 0.13-0.40 e *** particular,the as-prepared COFs based-cathodes show ultrafast and stable Na+storage associated with their conjugated electronic structure,highly ordered mesoporous tunnel,robust structure,and redox-active C=N/C=O-rich framework as exemplified by the high reversible capacity of 210 m A h g^(-1)at 200 m A g^(-1),record-high rate performance(195 m A h g^(-1)at a high current density of 10,000 m A g^(-1))among organic electrodes and the capacity retention of nearly 91%at 10,000 m A g^(-1)after 7,000 cycles for HATN-PD-COF.

The generation of mature and healthy oocytes is the most critical event in the entire female reproductive process,and the mechanisms regulating this process remain to be ***,we demonstrate that Smith-like(LSM)family member 14B(LSM14B)regulates oocyte maturation,and the loss of LSM14B in mouse ovaries leads to abnormal oocyte MII arrest and female ***,we find the aberrant transcriptional activation,indicated by abnormal non-surrounded nucleolus and surrounded nucleolus oocyte proportions,and abnormal chromosome assembly and segregation in Lsm14b-deficient mouse *** global transcriptome analysis suggests that many transcripts involved in cytoplasmic processing body(P-body)function are altered in Lsm14b-deficient mouse *** of Lsm14b results in the expression and/or localization changes of P-body components(such as LSM14A,DCP1A,and 4E-T).Notably,DDX6,a key component of the P-body,is downregulated and accumulates in the nuclei in Lsm14b-deficient mouse *** together,our data suggest that LSM14B links mouse oocyte maturation to female fertility through the regulation of the P-body.

This paper deals with numerical methods for solving one-dimensional(1D)and twodimensional(2D)initial-boundary value problems(IBVPs)of space-fractional sine-Gordon equations(SGEs)with distributed *** 1D problems,we construct a kind of oneparameter finite difference(OPFD)*** is shown that,under a suitable condition,the proposed method is convergent with second order accuracy both in time and *** implementation,the preconditioned conjugate gradient(PCG)method with the Strang circulant preconditioner is carried out to improve the computational efficiency of the OPFD *** 2D problems,we develop another kind of OPFD *** such a method,two classes of accelerated schemes are suggested,one is alternative direction implicit(ADI)scheme and the other is ADI-PCG *** particular,we prove that ADI scheme can arrive at second-order accuracy in time and *** some numerical experiments,the computational effectiveness and accuracy of the methods are further ***,for the suggested methods,a numerical comparison in computational efficiency is presented.
