Coupling interface constructions of hollow Co-Mo mixed multiple oxidation states heterostructure for high-performance aprotic Li-O_(2) battery

Constructing interfaces in heterostructures is effective for modulating the electronic properties of *** hollow CoMoO_(4)-Co_(3)O_(4) heterostructure(HCMCH)was prepared as a bifunctional electrocatalyst for Li-O_(2) *** different components in CoMoO_(4)-Co_(3)O_(4) heterostructure presented the efficient coupling and enhanced the electrocatalytic activity for aprotic oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),in which it improved the obviously reduced overpotential of 300 mV(compared with the pure Ketjen black(KB)electrode),enhanced reversibility of 80%capacity retention after 6 full cycles and the superior cyclability of more than 200 cycles with an optimized *** battery performance of the HCMCH was not only associated with the unique hollow structure and rich active sites but also with coupling interface constructions synergetic effects attaching to the improving conductivity and optimized the discharge *** results suggested that this HCMCH electrocatalyst was a promising candidate for the Li-O_(2) battery and it gave a novel insight for high performance electrocatalyst designing.

Different from oil and gas production,hydrate reservoirs are shallow and unconsolidated,whose mechanical properties deteriorate with hydrate ***,the formations will undergo significant subsidence during depressurization,which will destroy the original force state of the production ***,existing research on the stability of oil and gas production wells assumes the formation to be stable,and lacks consideration of the force exerted on the hydrate production well by formation subsidence caused by hydrate decomposition during *** fill this gap,this paper proposes an analytical method for the dynamic evolution of the stability of hydrate production well considering the effects of hydrate *** on the mechanical model of the production well,the basis for stability analysis has been proposed.A multi-field coupling model of the force state of the production well considering the effect of hydrate decomposition and formation subsidence is established,and a solver is *** analytical approach is verified by its good agreement with the results from the numerical method.A case study found that the decomposition of hydrate will increase the pulling-down force and reduce the supporting force,which is the main reason for the stability *** higher the initial hydrate saturation,the larger the reservoir thickness,and the lower the production pressure,the worse the stability or even *** work can provide a theoretical reference for the stability maintaining of the production well.

AIM:To evaluate the efficacy,timing of retreatment and safety of dexamethasone(DEX)implant on macular edema(ME)secondary to diabetic retinopathy(DME)and retinal vein occlusion(RVO-ME)patients who were refractory to anti-vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)***:This retrospective study included 37 eyes received at least one DEX implant treatment for DME or RVO-ME between January 1,2019,and January 1,*** refractory DME and RVO-ME cases received at least 5 anti-VEGF injections and failure to gain more than 5 letters or a significant reduction in central retinal thickness(CRT).The best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)and CRT were measured at baseline,and at 1,3,4 and 6mo post-DEX implant *** events such as elevated intraocular pressure(IOP)and cataract were ***:For RVO cases(n=22),there was a significant increase in BCVA from 0.27±0.19 to 0.35±0.20 at 6mo post-DEX injection(P<0.05)and CRT decreased from 472.1±90.6 to 240.5±39.0μm at 6mo(P<0.0001).DME cases(n=15)experienced an improvement in BCVA from 0.26±0.15 to 0.43±0.20 at 6mo post-DEX implant injection(P=0.0098),with CRT reducing from 445.7±55.7 to 271.7±34.1μm at 6mo(P<0.0001).Elevated IOP occurred in 45.9%of patients but was well-controlled with topical *** cases of cataract or other adverse events were ***:DEX implants effectively improve BCVA and reduce CRT in refractory DME and *** research with larger cohorts and longer follow-up periods is needed to confirm these findings and assess long-term outcomes.

Dear editor,Cas13,a class Ⅱ type Ⅵ CRISPR‒Cas endonuclease with two higher eukaryotes and prokaryotes nucleotide-binding(HEPN)domains,exclusively binds to and cleaves single-stranded RNA by a complementary guide RNA(gRNA)(Makarova et al.,2020).RfxCas13d(also known as CasRx)is an ortholog of CRISPR‒Cas13 with a relatively small size and robust RNA knockdown capability in mammalian cells(Konermann et al.,2018).Owing to its simplicity and high efficiency,CasRx has been applied for RNA targeting in various types of cells and ***,most of these studies failed to control the nuclease activity of CasRx *** re-engineered split-Cas9 system enables inducible genome editing and epigenetic modulation through chemical-induced reassembly of the Cas9 protein(Zetsche et al.,2015).However,tools that allow for efficient and controllable RNA knockdown by a split-Cas13 system remain to be established.

It has long been proposed that emotionally“prepared”(i.e.,fear-related)stimuli are privileged in the unconscious acquisition of conditioned ***,as fear processing is suggested to highly depend on the coarse,low-spatial-frequency(LSF)components of the fear-related stimuli,it is plausible that LSF may play a unique role in the unconscious fear conditioning even with emotionally neutral ***,we provided empirical evidence that,following classical fear conditioning,an invisible,emotionally neutral conditioned stimulus(CS+)with LSF,but not with high spatial frequency(HSF),can rapidly elicit stronger skin conductance responses(SCRs)and larger pupil diameters than its CS−*** comparison,consciously perceived emotionally neutral CS+with LSF and HSF elicited comparable *** together,these results support that the unconscious fear conditioning does not necessarily entail emotionally prepared stimuli but prioritizes LSF information processing and highlight the crucial distinctions between the unconscious and the conscious fear *** findings not only coincide with the postulation that a rapid,spatial-frequency-dependent subcortical route is engaged in unconscious fear processing but also suggest the existence of multiple routes for conscious fear processing.

Herein,two asymmetric hexacyclic fused small molecule acceptors(SMAs),namely BP4F-HU and BP4F-UU,were *** elongated outside chains in the BP4F-UU molecule played a crucial role in optimizing the morphology of blend film,thereby improving charge mobility and reducing energy loss within the corresponding ***,the PM6:BP4F-UU device exhibited a higher open-circuit voltage(V_(oc))of 0.878 V compared to the PM6:BP4F-HU device with a V_(oc)of 0.863 ***,a new wide bandgap SMA named BTP-TA was designed and synthesized as the third component to the PM6:BP4F-UU host binary devices,which showed an ideal complementary absorption spectrum in PM6:BP4F-UU *** addition,BTP-TA can achieve efficient intermolecular energy transfer to BP4F-UU by fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET)pathway,due to the good overlap between the photoluminescence(PL)spectrum of BTP-TA and the absorption region of ***,ternary devices with 15wt%BTP-TA exhibits broader photon utilization,optimal blend morphology,and reduced charge recombination compared to the corresponding binary ***,PM6:BP4F-UU:BTP-TA ternary device achieved an optimal power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 17.83%with simultaneously increased V_(oc)of 0.905 V,short-circuit current density(J_(sc))of 26.14 mA/cm^(2),and fill factor(FF)of 75.38%.

Layered trihalides exhibit distinctive band structures and physical properties due to the sixfold coordinated 3d or 4d transition metal site and partially occupied d orbitals,holding great potential in condensed matter physics and advanced electronic *** research focused on trihalides with highly symmetric honeycomb-like structures,such as CrI3 andα-RuCl_(3),while the role of crystal anisotropy in trihalides remains *** particular,the trihalide MoCl_(3) manifests strong in-plane crystal anisotropy with the largest difference in Mo–Mo interatomic *** on such material is imperative to address the lack of investigations on the effect of anisotropy on the properties of ***,we demonstrated the anisotropy of MoCl_(3) through polarized Raman spectroscopy and further tuned the phonon frequency via strain *** showed the Raman intensity exhibits twofold symmetry under parallel configuration and fourfold symmetry under perpendicular configuration with changing the polarization angle of incident ***,we found that the phonon frequencies of MoCl_(3) decrease gradually and linearly with applying uniaxial tensile strain along the axis of symmetry in the MoCl_(3) crystal,while those frequencies increase with uniaxial tensile strain applied *** results shed light on the manipulation of anisotropic light-matter interactions via strain engineering,and lay a foundation for further exploration of the anisotropy of trihalides and the modulation of their electronic,optical,and magnetic properties.

Quantum dot-enabled infrared hyperspectral imaging with single-pixel detection

Near-infrared(NIR)hyperspectral imaging is a powerful technique that enables the capture of three-dimensional(3D)spectra-spatial information within the NIR spectral range,offering a wide array of ***,the high cost associated with InGaAs focal plane array(FPA)has impeded the widespread adoption of NIR hyperspectral *** this challenge,in this study,we adopt an alternative approach—single-pixel detection for NIR hyperspectral *** investigation reveals that single-pixel detection outperforms conventional FPA,delivering a superior signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)for both spectral and imaging *** implement this strategy,we leverage self-assembled colloidal quantum dots(CQDs)and a digital micromirror device(DMD)for NIR spectral and spatial information multiplexing,complemented by single-pixel detection for simultaneous spectral and image *** experimental results demonstrate successful NIR hyperspectral imaging with a detection window about 600 nm and an average spectral resolution of 8.6 nm with a pixel resolution of 128×*** resulting spectral and spatial data align well with reference instruments,which validates the effectiveness of our *** circumventing the need for expensive and bulky FPA and wavelength selection components,our solution shows promise in advancing affordable and accessible NIR hyperspectral imaging technologies,thereby expanding the range of potential applications.
