Automatic Examination of Condition of Used Books with YOLO-Based Object Detection Framework

As the demand for used books has grown in recent years,various online/offline market platforms have emerged to support the trade in used *** price of used books can depend on various factors,such as the state of preservation(i.e.,condition),the value of possession,and so ***,some online platforms provide a reference document to evaluate the condition of used books,but it is still not trivial for individual sellers to determine the *** lack of a standard quantitative method to assess the condition of the used book would confuse both sellers and consumers,thereby decreasing the user experience of the online secondhand ***,this paper discusses the automatic examination of the condition of used books based on deep learning *** this work,we present a book damage detection system based on various You Only Look Once(YOLO)object detection *** YOLOv5,YOLOR,and YOLOX,we also introduce various training configurations that can be applied to improve ***,a combination of different augmentation strategies including flip,rotation,crop,mosaic,and mixup was used for *** train and validate our system,a book damage dataset composed of a total of 620 book images with 3,989 annotations,containing six types of damages(i.e.,Wear,Spot,Notch,Barcode,Tag,and Ripped),collected from the library books is *** evaluated each model trained with different configurations to figure out their detection accuracy as well as training *** experimental results showed that YOLOX trained with its best training configuration yielded the best performance in terms of detection accuracy,by achieving 60.0%(mAP@.5:.95)and 72.9%(mAP@.5)for book damage ***,YOLOX performed worst in terms of training efficiency,indicating that there is a trade-off between accuracy and *** on the findings from the study,we discuss the feasibility and limitations of our system and future research directi

目的探讨瑞舒伐他汀联合阿魏酸钠对糖尿病肾病患者血清血管紧张素Ⅱ(AngⅡ)、结缔组织生长因子(CTGF)、血清载脂蛋白CⅢ(apoCⅢ)及24 h尿微量清蛋白(MAU)的影响。方法选取医院2016年1月至2017年7月收治的糖尿病肾病患者90例,依据治疗方式差异分为两组,各45例。两组均予瑞舒伐他汀治疗,试验组联合阿魏酸钠治疗,均治疗4周。结果治疗后,试验组患者空腹血糖(FBG)、餐后2 h血糖(2 hPG)、血肌酐(SCr)及血尿素氮(BUN)均显著低于对照组(P0.05)。结论瑞舒伐他汀联合阿魏酸钠治疗糖尿病肾病有助于改善患者的血糖水平及肾功能,同时还可促使血清AngⅡ,CTGF,apoCⅢ,MAU进一步改善。

Physical structure and phytoplankton community off the eastern Hainan coast during summer 2015

Based on satellite remote sensing dataset and survey data during upwelling season of 2015,the spatial structures of phytoplankton biomass and community for the first time in the eastern Hainan upwelling(EHU)and its adjacent area,the eastern Leizhou Peninsula upwelling(ELPU)were *** is found that a significant cold tongue with high salinity and low temperature along the eastern Hainan coast driven by upwelling-favorable summer *** ELPU was relative weaker than the EHU because of its wide and gentle continental *** to mixing by tides and waves,DO concentration with high value(>6.0 mg/L)were almost homogenous from surface to 30 m depth at the *** that,low DO water(<6.0 mg/L,anoxia)were pumped upward from bottom by the *** ELPU has worse DO condition compared with the EHU where bottom DO were lower than 3.5 mg/L owing to abundant DO *** phytoplankton biomass reached maximal value about 1.5 mg/m3 at 30 m depth layer rather than surface layer at the EHU indicating the impact limit of upwelling on phytoplankton growth and DO *** by rich nutrient input,the phytoplankton biomass at the ELPU were much higher than the EHU where the maximal value can reach about 4.0 mg/*** phytoplankton biomass were reduced to about 0.2–0.3 mg/m3 at the offshore areas of the EHU and ELPU which were close to the value at open *** the inshore of the EHU,the phytoplankton community was dominated by diatom which accounted for about 50%of phytoplankton *** prokaryotes(about 40%),green algae(about 20%)and prochlorococcus(about 20%)became main species at the offshore of the *** the ELPU,diatom accounted for about 80%of phytoplankton biomass followed by green algae,indicating a different ecosystem at this region compared with the EHU.

The application of phase change materials(PCMs)in building envelopes can help promote energy efficiency due to its high heat *** study aimed to provide energy and economic insights for deploying PCM to buildings in eight different regions of East Asia through a series of energy and economic analysis using computer modelling and *** static payback period(SPP)and dynamic payback(DPP)methods were used to evaluate the economic feasibility of applying a PCM at different melting phase temperatures(20℃,23℃,25℃,27℃ and 29℃).Results show that the proper choice of a PCM melting temperature is a key factor to improve the performance of the PCM applied to buildings.A melting phase temperature of 29℃ achieved the highest economic feasibility in Seoul,Tokyo;Pyongyang;Beijing;and Ulaanbaatar and a melting temperature of 23℃ in hong Kong had the highest economic ***,the combined economic and energy analysis presented in this study can play an important role in improving the energy and economic feasibility of PCM in buildings.

糖代谢异常由于其发病率的升高和影响人类的生活质量而日益受到科学研究者的关注。实验中利用液相色谱与质谱(LC-M S)联用技术对糖代谢异常分别进行了代谢组学和磷脂轮廓分析,研究了糖代谢异常中的两个阶段———空腹血糖受损(IFG)和初诊糖尿病(NDD)的代谢差异情况。首先从LC-M S采集到血浆中代谢组学分析及磷脂轮廓分析的原始谱图,通过软件的峰匹配等步骤得到峰表,之后利用多种统计分析方法进行数据分析,通过正交校正的偏最小二乘法(O SC-PLS)对样品进行分型,根据模型的变量重要因子(VIP)、显著性差异检验结果等筛选出差异性代谢物。结果显示:NDD组比IFG组与对照组(N组)比较存在更明显的代谢差异,发生变化的化合物主要为游离脂肪酸、溶血磷脂酰胆碱、磷脂酰乙醇胺、鞘磷脂和磷脂酰胆碱等。

进行了摩擦片式防滑差速器防滑转矩输出特性测定试验,并分别对装有摩擦片式防滑差速器和普通差速器的汽车,通过试验测定的车厢侧倾角、转弯半径比、前后轴侧偏角差值、横摆角速度及侧向加速度作为对比参数,研究了摩擦片式防滑差速器转矩特性对汽车操纵稳定性的影响。结果表明,摩擦片式防滑差速器能够显著提高汽车的动力性、通过性,改善汽车的操纵稳定性。
