Copper Ion Beam Irradiation-Induced Effects on Structural,Morphological and Optical Properties of Tin Dioxide Nanowires

The 0.8 Me V copper （ Cu） ion beam irradiation-induced effects on structural, morphological and optical properties of tin dioxide nanowires （Sn02 NWs） are investigated. The samples are irradiated at three different doses 5 × 10^12 ions/cm2, 1 ×10^13 ions/cm2 and 5 × 10^13 ions/em2 at room temperature. The XrD analysis shows that the tetragonal phase of Sn02 NWs remains stable after Cu ion irradiation, but with increasing irradiation dose level the crystal size increases due to ion beam induced coalescence of NWs. The FTIr spectra of pristine Sn02 NWs exhibit the chemical composition of SnO2 while the Cn-O bond is also observed in the FTIr spectra after Cu ion beam irradiation. The presence of Cu impurity in SnO2 is further confirmed by calculating the stopping range of Cu ions by using TrM/SrIM code. Optical properties of SnO2 NWs are studied before and after Cu ion irradiation. Band gap analysis reveMs that the band gap of irradiated samples is found to decrease compared with the pristine sample. Therefore, ion beam irradiation is a promising technology for nanoengineering and band gap tailoring.

Brain tumors are life-threatening for adults and ***,accurate and timely detection can save *** study focuses on three different types of brain tumors:Glioma,meningioma,and pituitary *** studies describe the analysis and classification of brain tumors,but few have looked at the problem of feature *** are needed to overcome the drawbacks of manual diagnosis and conventional featureengineering *** automatic diagnostic system is thus necessary to extract features and classify brain tumors *** progress continues to be made,the automatic diagnoses of brain tumors still face challenges of low accuracy and high false-positive *** model presented in this study,which offers improvements for feature extraction and classification,uses deep learning and machine learning for the assessment of brain *** learning is used for feature extraction and encompasses the application of different models such as fine-tuned Inception-v3 and fine-tuned *** classification of brain tumors is explored through deep-and machine-learning algorithms including softmax,random Forest,Support Vector Machine,K-Nearest Neighbors,and the ensemble *** results of these approaches are compared with existing *** Inception-v3 model has a test accuracy of 94.34%and achieves the highest performance compared with other recently reported *** improvement may be sufficient to support a significant role in clinical applications for brain tumor ***,this type of approach can be used as an effective decisionsupport tool for radiologists in medical diagnostics as a second opinion based on the magnetic resonance imaging(MrI)*** may also save valuable time for radiologists who have to manually review numerous MrI images of patients.

Federated Learning(FL)enables collaborative and privacy-preserving training of machine learning models within the Internet of Vehicles(IoV)*** FL effectively tackles privacy concerns,it also imposes significant resource *** traditional FL,trained models are transmitted to a central server for global aggregation,typically in the *** approach often leads to network congestion and bandwidth limitations when numerous devices communicate with the same *** need for Flexible Global Aggregation and Dynamic Client Selection in FL for the IoV arises from the inherent characteristics of IoV *** include diverse and distributed data sources,varying data quality,and limited communication *** employing dynamic client selection,we can prioritize relevant and high-quality data sources,enhancing model *** address this issue,we propose an FL framework that selects global aggregation nodes dynamically rather than a single fixed *** global aggregation ensures efficient utilization of limited network resources while accommodating the dynamic nature of IoV data *** approach optimizes both model performance and resource allocation,making FL in IoV more effective and *** selection of the global aggregation node is based on workload and communication speed ***,our framework overcomes the constraints associated with network,computational,and energy resources in the IoV environment by implementing a client selection algorithm that dynamically adjusts participants according to predefined *** approach surpasses Federated Averaging(FedAvg)and Hierarchical FL(HFL)regarding energy consumption,delay,and accuracy,yielding superior results.

The phytochrome B (PHYB) gene of Arabidopsis thaliana was introduced into cotton through Agrobacterium *** and expression of PHYB gene in cotton plants were confirmed by molecular *** rNA (mrNA) expression in one of the transgenic lines,QCC11,was much higher than those of control and other transgenic *** cotton plants showed more than a two-fold increase in photosynthetic rate and more than a four-fold increase in transpiration rate and stomatal *** increase in photosynthetic rate led to a 46% increase in relative growth rate and an 18% increase in net assimilation *** recorded up to two generations,both in the greenhouse and in the field,revealed that overexpression of Arabidopsis thaliana PHYB gene in transgenic cotton plants resulted in an increase in the production of cotton by improving the cotton plant growth,with 35% more ***,the presence of the Arabidopsis thaliana PHYB gene caused pleiotropic effects like semi-dwarfism,decrease in apical dominance,and increase in boll size.

AIM:To determine the feasibility and safety of high dose rate intraluminal brachytherapy(HDr-ILBT) boost during preoperative chemoradiation for rectal ***:Between 2008 and 2009,thirty-six patients with locally advanced rectal cancer(≥ T3 or N+),were treated initially with concurrent capecitabine(825 mg/m2 oral twice daily) and pelvic external beam radiotherapy(EBrT)(45 Gy in 25 fractions),then were randomized to group A;HDr-ILBT group(n = 17) to receive 5.5-7 Gy×2 to gross tumor volume(GTV) and group B;EBrT group(n = 19) to receive 5.4 Gy×3 fractions to GTV with *** patients underwent total mesorectal ***:Grade 3 acute toxicities were registered in 12 patients(70.6%) in group A and in 8(42.1%) in group *** pathologic response of T stage(ypT0) in group A was registered in 10 patients(58.8%) and in group B,3 patients(15.8%) had ypT0(P r preservation was reported in 6/9 patients(66.7%) in group A and in 5/10 patients(50%) in group B(P rall radiological response was 68.15% and 66.04% in Group A and B,*** a median follow up of 18 mo,late grade 1 and 2 sequelae were registered in 3 patients(17.6%) and 4 patients(21.1%) in the groups A and B,***:HDr-ILBT was found to be effective dose escalation technique in preoperative chemoradiation for rectal cancers,with higher response rates,downstaging and with manageable acute toxicities.

Objective: To explore the hypoglycaemic and hypocholesterolemic potential of conventional and supercritical extracts of black ***: Purposely, rat modelling was carried out for 2 months by designing three studies i.e. study Ⅰ(normal rats), study Ⅱ(hyperglycaemic rats) and study Ⅲ(hypercholesterolemic rats). Each study was further divided into three groups based on diet ***, functional diet(contained extract of black cumin prepared by using conventional solvent) and nutraceutical diet(contained extract of black cumin prepared by supercritical fluid extraction system).results: During whole trial, an abating trend was observed in the level of serum cholesterol with maximum reduction(12.8%) in nutraceutical group of study Ⅲ. Low density lipoprotein and triglyceride level was also lowered maximum in study Ⅲ as17.1% and 11.6%, respectively. Whereas, highest decline in glucose level was in nutraceutical group of study Ⅱ as 11.2%.Conclusions: Inclusion of black cumin extracts in diet significantly lowers the occurrence of hyperglycaemia and hypercholesterolaemia. Furthermore, hypoglycaemic and hypocholesterolemic potential of nutraceutical diet is more prominent as compared to functional diet.
