Secured Framework for Assessment of Chronic Kidney Disease in Diabetic Patients

With the emergence of cloud technologies,the services of healthcare systems have ***,machine learning systems have become important tools for developing matured and decision-making computer *** cloud computing and machine learning technologies have contributed significantly to the success of healthcare ***,in some areas,these technologies are needed to provide and decide the next course of action for patients suffering from diabetic kidney disease(DKD)while ensuring privacy preservation of the medical *** address the cloud data privacy problem,we proposed a DKD prediction module in a framework using cloud computing services and a data control *** framework can provide improved and early treatment before end-stage renal *** prediction purposes,we implemented the following machine learning algorithms:support vector machine(SVM),random forest(RF),decision tree(DT),naïve Bayes(NB),deep learning(DL),and k nearest neighbor(KNN).These classification techniques combined with the cloud computing services significantly improved the decision making in the progress of DKD *** applied these classifiers to the UCI Machine Learning Repository for chronic kidney disease using various clinical features,which are categorized as single,combination of selected features,and all *** single clinical feature experiments,machine learning classifiers SVM,RF,and KNN outperformed the remaining classification techniques,whereas in combined clinical feature experiments,the maximum accuracy was achieved for the combination of DL and *** the feature experiments presented increased accuracy and increased F-measure metrics from SVM,DL,and RF.

DL-Powered Anomaly Identification System for Enhanced IoT Data Security

A Hybrid Multi-Hazard Susceptibility Assessment Model for a Basin in Elazig Province,Türkiye

Preparation of accurate and up-to-date susceptibility maps at the regional scale is mandatory for disaster mitigation,site selection,and planning in areas prone to multiple natural *** this study,we proposed a novel multi-hazard susceptibility assessment approach that combines expert-based and supervised machine learning methods for landslide,flood,and earthquake hazard assessments for a basin in Elazig Province,Tü*** produce the landslide susceptibility map,an ensemble machine learning algorithm,random forest,was chosen because of its known performance in similar *** modified analytical hierarchical process method was used to produce the flood susceptibility map by using factor scores that were defined specifically for the area in the *** seismic hazard was assessed using ground motion parameters based on Arias intensity *** univariate maps were synthesized with a Mamdani fuzzy inference system using membership functions designated by *** results show that the random forest provided an overall accuracy of 92.3%for landslide susceptibility *** the study area,41.24%were found prone to multi-hazards(probability value>50%),but the southern parts of the study area are more *** proposed model is suitable for multi-hazard susceptibility assessment at a regional scale although expert intervention may be required for optimizing the algorithms.

Tuberculous esophagomediastinal fistula with concomitant mediastinal bronchial artery aneurysm-acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding: A case report

BACKGROUND Esophagomediastinal fistula is a very rare complication of tuberculosis in otherwise healthy adults, and mediastinal bronchial artery aneurysm is even rarer. In this case report, we describe a rare case of tuberculosis complication that presented with acute upper gastrointestinal(GI) bleeding. It also highlights the benefits of chest computed tomography(CT) as an excellent adjunct diagnostic tool to endoscopy and bronchoscopy and the role of trans-arterial embolization as a minimal invasive therapy alternative to *** SUMMARY A 19-year-old medically free male patient presented with acute multiple episodes of hematemesis for 1 d. Upper GI endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and chest CT with IV contrast confirmed esophagomediastinal fistula with mediastinal bronchial artery aneurysm. After resuscitating patient with IV fluid and blood product transfusion, trans catheter embolization was performed for mediastinal bronchial artery *** We successfully treated a patient with acute upper GI bleeding due to tuberculous esophagomediastinal fistula and mediastinal bronchial artery aneurysm using transcatheter coil embolization.

Rhythmic precipitate patterns and fractal structure

Liesegang patterns of parallel precipitate bands are obtained when solutions containing co-precipitate ions interdiffuse in a 1D gel *** sparingly soluble salt formed,displays a beautiful stratification of discs of precipitate perpendicular to the 1D tube *** Liesegang structures are analyzed from the viewpoint of their fractal *** Liesegang patterns are constructed in conformity with the well-known empirical laws such as the time,band spacing and band width *** dependence of the band spacing on the initial concentrations of diffusing（outer）and immobile（inner）electrolytes（A0 and B0,respectively）is taken to follow the Matalon-Packter *** mathematical fractal dimensions and box-count dimensions are *** fractal dimension is found to increase with increasing A0 and decreasing *** also analyze mosaic patterns with random distribution of crystallites,grown under different conditions than the classical Liesegang gel method,and report on their fractal ***,complex Liesegang patterns wherein the bands are grouped in multiplets are studied,and it is shown that the fractal nature increases with the multiplicity.

Mobile computing has fast emerged as a pervasive technology to replace the old computing paradigms with portable computation and context-aware *** software systems can be migrated(while preserving their data and logic)to mobile computing platforms that support portability,context-sensitivity,and enhanced *** recent years,some research and development efforts have focused on a systematic migration of existing software systems to mobile computing *** investigate the research state-of-the-art on the migration of existing software systems to mobile computing *** aim to analyze the progression and impacts of existing research,highlight challenges and solutions that reflect dimensions of emerging and futuristic *** followed evidence-based software engineering(EBSE)method to conduct a systematic mapping study(SMS)of the existing research that has progressed over more than a decade(25 studies published from 1996–2017).We have derived a taxonomical classification and a holistic mapping of the existing research to investigate its progress,impacts,and potential areas of futuristic research and *** SMS has identified three types of migration namely Static,Dynamic,and State-based Migration of existing software systems to mobile computing *** to mobile computing platforms enables existing software systems to achieve portability,context-sensitivity,and high ***,mobile systems may face some challenges such as resource poverty,data security,and *** emerging and futuristic research aims to support patterns and tool support to automate the migration *** results of this SMS can benefit researchers and practitioners-by highlighting challenges,solutions,and tools,etc.,-to conceptualize the state-of-the-art and futuristic trends that support migration of existing software to mobile computing.

A stable flat universe with variable cosmological constant in f(R,T)gravity

In this paper, a general FRW cosmological model has been constructed in f（R, T） gravity reconstruction with variable cosmological constant. A number of solutions to the field equations has been generated by utilizing a form for the Hubble parameter that leads to Berman＇s law of constant deceleration parameter q =m - 1. The possible decelerating and accelerating solutions have been investigated. For （q 〉 0） we get a stable fiat decelerating radiation-dominated universe at q = 1. For （q 〈 0） we get a stable accelerating solution describing a flat universe with positive energy density and negative cosmological constant. Nonconventional mechanisms that are expected to address the late-time acceleration with negative cosmological constant have been discussed.

Multi-Floor Indoor Trajectory Reconstruction Using Mobile Devices

An indoor trajectory is the path of an object moving through corridors and stairs inside a *** are various types of technologies that can be used to reconstruct the path of a moving object and detect its *** has been used for reconstruction in outdoor environments,but for indoor environments,mobile devices with embedded sensors are *** accelerometer sensor and a magnetometer sensor are used to detect human movement and reconstruct the trajectory on a single *** an indoor environment,there are many activities that will create the trajectory similar to an outdoor environment,such as passing along the corridor,going from one room to another,and other *** need to analyse trajectories to obtain the movement patterns,understand themost frequently visited places or paths used aswell as the least frequented ***,we can utilize movement patterns to obtain a better building design and *** latest studies focus on reconstructing the trajectory on a single ***,actual indoor environments are comprised of multi-floors and *** purpose of this paper is to reconstruct a trajectory in an indoor multi-floor *** have conducted extensive experiments to evaluate the performance of our proposed algorithms in a campus *** result of our experiment shows that the height of the building can be detected using a barometer sensor that gives an atmospheric pressure reading which is then transformed by setting the range value according to the number of floors,enabling the sensors to detect activity in a multi-floor *** readings obtained from the magnetometer sensor can be used to reconstruct the trajectory similar to the real path based on the direction and degree of *** system accuracy in recognizing steps in a multi-floor building is about 84%.
