In this resea.ch work,a. efficient sign la.gua.e recognition tool for e-lea.ning ha. been proposed with a.new type of fea.ure set ba.ed on a.gle a.d *** fea.ure set ha. the a.ility to increa.e the overa.l performa.ce of ma.hine lea.ning a.gorithms in a. efficient *** ha.d gesture recognition ba.ed on these fea.ures ha. been implemented for usa.e in *** fea.ure set used ha.d la.dma.ks,which were genera.ed using media.pipe(Media.ipe)a.d open computer vision(openCV)on ea.h fra.e of the incoming *** overa.l a.gorithm ha. been tested on two well-known a.La.pha.et(a.erica. Sign La.gua.e)a.d ISL-HS(Irish Sign La.gua.e)sign la.gua.e *** ma.hine lea.ning cla.sifiers including ra.dom forest,decision tree,a.d na.ve Ba.esia. ha.e been used to cla.sify ha.d gestures using this unique fea.ure set a.d their respective results ha.e been *** the ra.dom forest cla.sifier performed better,it ha. been selected a. the ba.e cla.sifier for the proposed *** showed 96.7%a.cura.y with ISL-HS a.d 93.7%a.cura.y with a.L-a.pha.et da.a.et using the extra.ted fea.ures.
