The supply chain of many industries,including Oil and Gas,was significantly affected by the disruption caused by the Covid ***,in turn,had a knock-on effect on other industries around the *** the impact of the disruption posed a major challenge for the *** study contributes to the existing literature by identifying and analyzing the most significant drivers that affected the sustainability of the Oil and Gas supply chain during the Covid *** drivers were identified based on an extensive literature review and a survey conducted with experts working in the Oil and Gas ***-criteria decision-making methodologies were used to analyze these *** analysis from the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process found that the most important drivers for the sustainability of the Oil and gas supply chain during the pandemic were"Risk management capacity","Government regulation"and"Health and safety of employees".On the other hand,the driver"Community Pressure"was found to be of the least ***,the study integrated the results of the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process with the fuzzy technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution to calculate the supply chain sustainability index.A case example was demonstrated to rank the industries based on such *** study can support the governmental institutions in benchmarking the Oil and Gas industry based on its sustainability ***,the outcomes of the study will help industrial decision makers prioritize the drivers the company should focus and devise strategies based on the priority to improve the sustainability of their supply chain during severe *** will be crucial as the World health organization has cautioned that the world may encounter another pandemic in the near future.

High temperatures have a detrimental effect on growth, development, and yield of Brassica napus. Even a short period of heat stress can lead to yield losses of 15%–20%. A collection of spring-type accessions available in Germplasm Resources Information Network(GRIN)were used to assess the effect of short periods of high-temperature stress at the early flowering stage of B. napus. Two sets of accessions with three replications per set were grown in a greenhouse at 22/18 °C day/night temperatures. Plants from the second set at the 6-day flowering stage were exposed to heat-stress conditions(maximum temperature up to 35 °C) in a plant growth chamber for five days. The heat-stressed plants were then allowed to recover in a greenhouse. Pollen sterility, sterile/aborted pods, and number of pods on main raceme were recorded for both control(set 1) and heat stressed(set 2) *** susceptibility indices for all three traits were calculated and an association-mapping study was conducted using 37,539 Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms(SNPs) to identify genomic regions controlling the heat stress traits. A total of 5, 8, and 7 quantitative trait loci(QTL) were associated with pollen sterility, sterile/aborted pods, and number of pods on main raceme, respectively. Together they explained respectively 46.3%, 60.5%, and 60.6% of phenotypic variation. Candidate genes in the QTL regions included genes associated with flowering, male sterility, pollen abortion, embryo abortion reducing pollen development,and pod development.

A device,that is used for biomedical operation or safety-critical applications like point-of-care health asssment,massive parallel DNA analysis,automated drug discovery,air-quality monitoring and food-safety testing,must have the attributes like relia bility,dependability and *** the biochips are used for these purposes;therefore,these devices must be fault free all the *** before usi ng these chips,they must be well *** are proposing a novel technique that can detect mutiple fults,locate the fault positions within the biochip,as well as calculate the traversal time if the biochip is fault *** proposed technique also highlights a new idea how to select the appropriate base node or pseudo source(start electrode).The main idea of the proposed technique is to form multiple loops with the neighboring electrode arrays and then test each loop by traversing test droplet to check whether there is any *** a fault is detected then the propoed technique also locates it by backtracking the test *** case,no fault is detected,the biochip is fault free then the proposed technique also calculates the time to traverse the *** result suggests that the proposed technique is eficient and shows significant improvement to ca lculate fault-free biochip traversal time over existing method.

Inexpe nsive copper nano particles are generally thought to possess weak and broad localized surface plasm on resonance(LSPR).The,present experimental and theoretical studies show that tailoring the Cu nanoparticle to a cubic shape results in a single intense,narrow,and asymmetric LSPR line shape,which is even superior to round-shaped gold *** this study,the dielectric function of copper is decomposed into an interband transition component and a free-electron *** allows interband transition-induced plasmon damping to be visualized both spectrally and by surface polarization *** results reveal that the LSPR of Cu nanocubes originates from the comer mode as it is spectrally separated from the interb and *** additi on,the interband tran sitions lead to severe damping of the local electromagnetic field but the cubic corner LSPR mode *** nanocubes display an extinction coefficient comparable to the dipole mode of a gold nanosphere with the same volume and show a larger local electromagnetic field enhancement These results will guider-development of in expensive plasmonic copper-based nano materials.

This paper examines the interconnection of two DC microgrids(MGs) with tie-line. The voltages at respective MG buses are controlled to manage the powerflow across the tie-line. Formation of such a DC MG cluster ensures higher reliability of power supply andflexibility to manage distributed energy resources and loads in the system. Two MGs consist of photovoltaic and battery units interfaced by power electronic converters. The bus voltages of two DC MGs act as an indicator for the powerflow monitoring the supply-demand balance. A decentralized control approach is proposed to control each MG and bus voltage fluctuation in an allowable range. Furthermore,a mode adaptive decentralized control approach is proposed for seamless mode transition in order to assign microgrid operation modes and for the power management of DC MGs. The effectiveness of the proposed concept is validated by simulation and experimental results.

Objectives: Our objectives are to compare the efficacy of different proportions ofketamine and propofol in ketofol, and to compare the efficacy of ketofol with propofol-fentanyl and propofol alone in abortion. Methods: This is a prospective, randomized, double-blind, controlled study of100female American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I or II patients aged18to40years undergoing abortion. Patients were randomly divided into5groups of20. Groups K21,K31and K41were given ketofol in the ratios of propofol:ketamine2:1,3:1and4:1respectively intravenously in small aliquots;group PF was given propofol1.5-2mg/kg andfentanyl1μg/kg whereas group P was given only propofol2mg/kg. Ketofol1-3ml andpropofol0.5-1mg/kg was added as required during the procedure. Blood pressure, heart rate,oxygen saturation along with surgery, anesthesia, sedation, recovery and discharge timeswere recorded. Adverse events like apnea, hypoxia, hypotension, bradycardia and emergencereactions were also noted. Results: There was significant difference （p＜0.05） in anesthesia （p=0.018）, sedation（p=0.000） and discharge times （p=0.000）. Group K21had longer sedation （0.8±0.3minutes）,recovery （9.6±3.9minutes） and discharge times （79.3±20.8minutes） than the other *** ketofol groups had high incidence of post-operative vertigo （p=0.000）, whereas the non-ketofol groups had high incidence of intra-operative respiratory depression （p=0.000）.Ketofol groups required less dosage of propofol （p=0.000） than the non-ketofol groups withgroup P requiring the highest （3.5±0.6mg/kg）. Conclusion: Ketofol is as effective as propofol-fentanyl combination especially in theratios3:1and4:1（propofol:ketamine） in abortion.

Pristine and Bi-doped lanthanum titanium oxide(La_(2)Ti_(2)O_(7))nanosheets have been synthesized as photocatalysts for overall solar water *** surface hole trap is a critical factor that limits the photocatalytic activity of pristine La_(2)Ti_(2)O_(7)-Deposition of cobalt phosphate(Co-Pi)and platinum(Pt)nanoparticles on La_(2)Ti_(2)O_(7) cannot remove the surface traps although they are essential for enabling the oxygen and hydrogen evolution *** is interesting that doping bismuth(Bi)into La_(2)Ti_(2)O_(7) nanosheets has eliminated the surface traps due to surface enrichment of *** Co-Pi/Bi-La_(2)Ti_(2)O_(7)/Pt nanosheets exhibit increasing photocatalytic activity toward overall water splitting with increasing the Bi-dopant level up to 5 at.%.Further increasing the Bi-dopant level leads to the formation of localized states above the valence band,leading to the lifetime reduction of photogenerated charge-carriers,and jeopardizing the photocatalytic *** work proposes an effective strategy to address the surface trapping and surface catalysis issues in the nanostructured metal oxide photocatalysts.
