We have quantitatively analyzed the tree species diversity with respect to soil nutrient status in three sites of a sacred forest ecosystem of Niyamgiri hill range,Eastern Ghats,*** field surveys and sampling were conducted in 3 sites of the hill range:Site 1 Pterocarpus dominated forest(PTF)(19°40'02.2" N and 83°21'23.1" E),Site 2 Mangifera dominated forest(MAF)(19°40'02.8" N and 83°21'40.8" E) and Site 3 Mixed forest(MIF)(19°36'47.1" N and 83°21'02.7" E).A total of 28 families,42 genera,46 tree species,and 286 individual trees were recorded on an area of 0.6 *** density varied between 470 and 490 individuals ha-1 and average basal area between 3.16 and 10.04 m2 *** Index(H') ranged from 2.34 to 4.53,Simpson's Index ranged from 0.07 to 0.09,and equitability Index ranged from 0.7 to *** number of individuals was highest in the girth at breast height(GBH) class of 50-70 *** soil nutrient status of the three forest types was related to tree species *** soil pH value of the three sites reflected the slightly acidic nature of the *** diversity was positively correlated with organic carbon and phosphorus and negatively with nitrogen,Ec and *** results of the current study may be helpful to further develop a conservation planfor tree species in tropical sacred forest ecosystems.

While the structures of plant primary metabolic pathways are generally well defined and highly conserved across species,those defining specialized metabolism are less well characterized and more highly variable across *** this study,we investigated polyphenolic metabolism in the lycopersicum complex by characterizing the underlying biosynthetic and decorative reactions that constitute the metabolic network of polyphenols across eight different species of *** this purpose,Gc-MS-and Lc-MS-based metabolomics of different tissues of Solatium lycopersicum and wild tomato species were carried out,in concert with the evaluation of cross-hybridized microarray data for MapMan-based transcriptomic analysis,and publicly available RNA-sequencing data for annotation of biosynthetic *** combined data were used to compile species-specific metabolic networks of polyphenolic metabolism,allowing the establishment of an entire pan-species biosynthetic framework as well as annotation of the functions of decoration enzymes involved in the formation of metabolic diversity of the flavonoid *** combined results are discussed in the context of the current understanding of tomato flavonol biosynthesis as well as a global view of metabolic shifts during fruit *** results provide an example as to how large-scale biology approaches can be used for the definition and refinement of large specialized metabolism pathways.

Thornwaldt cyst is benign, mucosal congenital cyst which is located in upper nasopharynx. It developed in nasopharyngeal bursa if opening of bursa is occluded due to infection or inflammation. It is rare congenital cyst present in nasopharyngeal bursa. Its incidence is 3% in adults [1]. The usual age of presentation is 2nd and 3rd decade [1]. It is usually asymptomatic and incidental finding on MRI but it can present as nasal obstruction, post nasal drip, halitosis, occipital headache, foreign body sensation in throat [1] [2]. Here we are presenting a case report of 23 years old male presented with foreign body sensation in throat since 5 months. On oral and nasal endoscopic examination cystic mass in nasopharynx seen, bulging in oropharynx. MRI shows cystic mass arising from left side of nasopharynx popping up in oropharynx. cyst then excised with diode laser with both endonasal and transoral approach with zero degree rigid endoscope. Histopathology confirmed the cyst as thornwaldt cyst.
