In this study,a series of novel visible light driven n-CeO2/n-CdO heterojunction(CeO2/CdO)nanoco mposites we re successfully fabricated by simple ultrasonication *** characte rization tools including X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electro n microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy(UV-DRS),etc.,were utilized to investigate the physicochemical properties of the catalyst and confirm the formation of *** visible light irradiations,the photocatalytic activities of the as-prepared CeO2/CdO nanocomposites were evaluated by degrading of Congo red(CR)and Rhodamine B(RhB)*** a result,the CeO2/CdO(mass percentage ratio 1:3)nanocomposite displays remarkable performance for CR and RhB *** enhancement in the photocatalytic performance of CeO2/CdO(1:3)nanocomposite can be attributed not only to the strong visible-light absorption region,separating the photogenerated electronhole pairs but also to the formation of n-n type *** results also indicate that the CeO2/CdO(1:3)nanocomposite has good stabilization and high *** addition,the mechanism is proposed for the coupled semiconductors and possible reasons for the enhancement of visible-light photocatalytic efficiency are also *** work can provide a new gateway to fabricate visible photocatalysts and promising candidate catalysts for poisonous wastewater treatment in the near future.

The rice variety,Co 51,was specifically selected for the development of white polished rice,brown rice(BR),and germinated brown rice(GBR).GBR rendered significant increases in nutrients,including dietary fiber,resistant starch,total antioxidant activity,γ-amino butyric acid(GABA),γ-oryzanol,and ferulic acid content compared with *** cooked GBR and white polished rice(120 g)were served with a known quantity of pulses and vegetables without affecting the physical activities of selected groups and the total experimentation period spanned 120 *** the end of the study period,the experimental group consuming GBR showed a significant decrease in fasting blood glucose(FBG),average glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c),total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),compared with the group taking white polished *** findings suggest that owing to GBR’s better nutrient composition and bioactive functional ingredients,the long-term consumption of GBR would effectively lower the risk of prediabetes related to FBG,HbA1c,and TG.

The recent aggrandizement of radio frequency(RF)signals in wireless power transmission combined with energy harvesting methods have led to the replacement of traditional battery-powered wireless networks since the blooming RF technology provides energy renewal of wireless devices with the quality of service(QoS).In addition,it does not require any unnecessary alterations on the transmission hardware side.A hybridized global optimization technique uniting Global best and Local best(GL)based particle swarm optimization(PSO)and ant colony optimization(ACO)is proposed in this paper to optimally allocate resources in wireless powered communication networks(WPCN)through coordinated operation of communication groups,in which the wireless energy transfer and information sharing take place concomitantly by the aid of a cooperative relay positioned in between the communicating *** designed algorithm assists in minimizing power consumption and maximizes the weighted sum rate at the end-user *** the principal target of the system is coordinated optimization of energy beamforming along with time and energy allocation to reduce the total energy consumed combined with assured information rates of the communication *** outputs are presented to manifest the proposed system’s performance to verify the analytical results via simulations.

Weldments were produced using gas tungsten arc welding(GTAW) and pulsed current gas tungsten arc welding(PCGTAW) techniques with ERNiCr-3 filler wire. Macro examination revealed that the resultant weldments were free from defects. A refined microstructure was observed in the weldment fabricated through PCGTAW. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) analysis revealed secondary phases in the grain boundaries. Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS) analysis revealed that microsegregation of Cr carbide precipitates was completely eradicated through PCGTAW. The microsegregation of Nb precipitates was observed in the GTA and PCGTA weldments. X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis revealed the existence of M_(23)C?_6 Cr-rich carbide and Ni_8Nb phases in the GTA weldments. By contrast, in the PCGTA weldments, the Ni_8Nb phase was observed. The Cr_2Ti phase was observed in both the GTA and the PCGTA weldments. Tensile tests showed that the strength and ductility of the PCGTA weldments were slightly higher than those of the GTA weldments.

High density vertically aligned and high aspect ratio silicon nanowire （SiNW） arrays have been fabricated on a Si substrate using a template and a catalytic etching process. The template was formed from polystyrene （PS） nanospheres with diameter 30-50 nm and density 10^10/cm^2, produced by nanophase separation of PS-containing block-copolymers. The length of the SiNWs was controlled by varying the etching time with an etching rate of 12.5 nm/s. The SiNWs have a biomimetic structure with a high aspect ratio （-100）, high density, and exhibit ultra-low reflectance. An ultra-low reflectance of approximately 0.1% was achieved for SiNWs longer than 750 nm. Well-aligned SiNW/poly（3,4-ethylenedioxy-thiophene）：poly（styrenesulfonate）（PEDOT：PSS） heterojunction solar cells were fabricated. The n-type silicon nanowire surfaces adhered to PEDOT：PSS to form a core-sheath heterojunction structure through a simple and efficient solution process. The large surface area of the SiNWs ensured efficient collection of photogenerated carriers. Compared to planar cells without the nanowire structure, the SiNW/PEDOT：PSS heterojunction solar cell exhibited an increase in short-circuit current density from 2.35 mA/cm^2 to 21.1 mA/cm^2 and improvement in power conversion efficiency from 0.4% to 5.7%.
