This work focuses on the performance comparison of monocrystalline and polycrystalline Si solar photovoltaic(SPV)modules under tropical wet and dry climatic conditions in east-central India(21.16°n 81.65°E,Raipur,Chhattisgarh).This study would help to select the SPV module for system installation in the east-central part of the *** comparative analysis,we used performance ratio(PR)and efficiency as figures of *** plane-of-array(POA)irradiance was used to determine the efficiency of the *** decomposition and transposition models calculated the POA values from the measured global horizontal *** data were analysed systematically for 6 months in the non-rainy season,from October 2020 to March *** attention was given to solar irradiance,ambient temperature and module temperature-the parameters that affect the performance of PV *** month of October showed the highest variation in irradiance and *** highest average module temperatures(51-52℃)were observed in October-november,while the lowest average module temperatures(34℃ for mono-Si and 36℃ for poly-Si)were observed in *** highest value of average monthly POA irradiance(568 W/m^(2))was observed in February and the lowest(483 W/m^(2))in *** results showed that the monocrystalline SPV module performed better than the polycrystalline module under all weather *** maximum observed values of mono-Si and poly-Si panel PRs were 0.89 and 0.86,respectively,in December.

A novel Acetazolamide condensed 1,4-dihydropyridines was set up by treating of n-(5-acetamido-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-ylsulfonyl)-3-oxobutanamide with an aryl aldehyde and 25-30%alkali with sight amount of barium nitrate as a *** of the synthetic structure of the titled compounds(4-16)was substantiated by thin-layer chromatography(TLC),IR,^(1)H nMR,^(13)C nMR,Mass spectra(MS)and elemental analysis(C,H,and n)were *** titled compounds were assessed for anticholinesterase activity against acetylcholinesterase and butyl cholinesterase *** titled compound produced weak,moderate,or high anticholinesterase ***,compound 8 demonstrated the best anticholinesterase activity of all the 1,4-dihydropyridines,with an IC_(50) estimation of 0.08μM and 2.9μM.

Aim:Anterolateral thigh(ALT)flap is widely used in reconstruction of various *** imaging facilitates perforator mapping,overcoming intraoperative *** purpose of this study was to investigate the utility of multi-detector row computed tomography angiography(MDCTA)and a handheld Doppler in locating ALT ***:Twenty patients were randomized into two *** 1 patients received MDCTA and Doppler studies whereas Group 2 received only a Doppler *** number,location,course,and source of all cutaneous and sizable perforators were compared with intraoperative ***’stress levels during flap harvest and flap harvest time were ***:MDCTA findings correlated well with intraoperative findings for perforator type and segmental distribution with 100%*** alone had a 52%rate of *** sensitivity and specificity for MDCTA in demonstrating the presence of perforators were 85.71%and 97.22%,respectively;whereas for Doppler alone the sensitivity and specificity were 80%and 87.91%,*** demonstrating perforator source,MDCTA showed a sensitivity of 100%and specificity of 91.66%,with 100%*** and specificity for sizable perforators were 90%each,with 88.88%*** studies were unable to provide this *** of surgeon stress levels showed no differences between the two groups,although the time for flap harvest was significantly shorter in Group ***:MDCTA compared to Doppler is more sensitive,specific,and accurate with respect to location,course,and source of perforators.

The Sodium Montmorillonite(na-MMT)is not susceptible to polymer due to its organophilic character and low basal *** primary objective of this study was to improve na-MMT platelets separation by organically modifying it with cation and anion exchanges using Cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB)and Sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)*** spacing,presence of functional groups,Zetapotential with particle size analysis and thermal stability of the Organomodified na-MMT(OMMT)were characterized using XRD,FTIR,zeta-potential analyzer and TGA *** basal spacing of CTAB modified OMMTincreased to 19.5Åfrom 11.0Åwhich corresponds to the basal spacing of *** SDS modified OMMT did not show any increase in the basal *** spectra of CTAB modified na-MMT illustrated the attachment of CTAB functional groups to na-MMT,while the same was absent in the case of SDS modified *** zeta-potential of na-MMT shifted from–24.88 mV to 15.66 mV in the case of CTAB modified na-MMTand 12.49 mV for SDS modified na-MMT,indicating a greater surface potential of the modified *** TGA showed greater weight loss for CTAB modified na-MMT than that for na-MMT,indicating the effective na+ion exchange with alkyl amines.

The dispersion of montmorillonite （MMT） in vinylester for preparing nanoclay/vinylester gel coat was reported. Two sets of MMT/vinylester specimens, namely Type I and Type 2, were prepared for comparative studies. Type I specimens were prepared using ultrasonication only, and Type 2 specimens were prepared using both ultrasonication and twin-screw extrusion. According to XRD and TEM results, Type 2 specimens showed lower levels of nanoclay agglomeration and higher levels o! exfoliation. DSC results showed that the glass transition temperatures of Type 2 specimens are higher than those of Type 1 specimens. TGA results showed that the residual weight of 4 wt.% MMT/vinylester of Type 1 was 7.38%, while the corresponding value of Type 2 was 13,5%, indicating lower thermal degradation in the latter. MMTt vinylester/glass and MMT/vinylester/carbon specimens were fabricated and tested for mechanical and fire retardation behaviours. Type 2 based nanocomposite laminates showed greater values of ultimate tensile strength, flexural strength, interlaminar shear strength, impact strength, horizontal burning rate, and vertical burning rate than Type 1 based laminates. SEM images of tensile fractured surfaces revealed that Type 2 based laminates have no or less agglomeration of nanoclay than Type 1 based laminates.

Hydatid disease is a zoonosis that can involve almost any organ in the human body. After the liver, the lungs are the most common site for hydatid disease in adults. Imaging plays a pivotal role in the diagnosis of the disease, as clinical features are often nonspecific. Classical radiological signs of pulmonary hydatid cysts have been described in the literature, aiding in the diagnosis of the disease. However, complicated hydatid cysts can prove to be a diagnostic challenge at times due to their atypical imaging features. Radiography is the initial imaging modality. Computed tomography can provide a specific diagnosis in complicated cases. Ultrasound is particularly useful in peripheral lung lesions. The role of magnetic resonance imaging largely remains unexplored.

Association between Hepato-Biliary Status and HbA1C in Type 2 Diabetes mellitus with Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)

Bilirubin has both antioxidant activity and cardioprotective potential. Decreased levels are associated with predicting CAD. Recent studies showed that bilirubin has inverse correlation with glycemic status. So in this we evaluated the role of Hepatobiliary function as a marker of predictor CAD in patient with T2DM. Total 100 subjects included 50 T2DM patients with CAD and 50 T2DM without CAD. All the subject venous blood was collected after overnight fasting for biochemical analysis. After the statistical analysis, the results showed significant difference between two groups as follows total bilirubin (0.32 ± 0.15;0.90 ± 032;p = 0.000), direct bilirubin, indirect bilirubibn, Total Protein, Albumin, ALT, AST, HbA1c. Our finding implies that decreased serum bilirubin increases the risk of CAD in patients with T2DM and it shows inverse correlation between HbA1c and bilirubin.

Studies on mechanical and Wear Properties of Al6061/Beryl Composites

Beryl-Al6061 alloy composites having 2-12 wt% of beryl particles were fabricated by liquid metallurgy (stir cast) method. The tensile and wear properties of beryl-Al6061 composites have been evaluated and compared with its base alloy. The results revealed that the Al6061-10 wt% of beryl composites shows an improvement of 15.38% in tensile strength and specific wear rate decreases by 8.9% at normal load of 9.81n when compared to matrix i.e. base alloy. Significant improvement in tensile properties and hardness are noticed as the wt% of the beryl particles increases. The microstructures of the composites were studied to know the uniform dispersion of the beryl particles in matrix. It has been observed that addition of beryl particles significantly improves ultimate tensile strength and hardness properties as compared with that of unreinforced matrix.

Background: Mobile males are vulnerable to HIV and are potential bridge for HIV transmission to their sex partners, including spouses. To understand how mobility accentuates vulnerability to HIV, we assessed the association of degree of male mobility with paid sex, alcohol use and condom use at all places visited by migrants in past two years. methods: A cross-sectional survey was done among male migrant workers [n = 2991] in five high in-migration districts of Maharashtra in India during 2007-08. Results: Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that higher mobility [moving 3+ places in the past two years] was associated with “sexual debut” in paid sex [3.7% Vs 6.9%, AOR = 1.70, p nd having sex with sex worker at the current place of destination [8.7% Vs 16.9%, AOR = 2.10, p nation [7.2% Vs 15.1%, AOR = 2.05, p nd at the place of origin [0.6% Vs 1.6%, AOR = 2.31, p npaid sex with non-marital female partners [28.4% Vs 37.2%, AOR = 1.48, p nd less consistent condom use at the current place [26.6% Vs 23.4%, AOR = 0.45, p n [12.2% Vs 7.2%, AOR = 0.48, p n addition, alcohol use prior to sex was more among more mobile migrants relative to less mobile migrants at current place [6.1% Vs 11.2%, AOR = 1.82, p nd previous place [7.0% Vs 13.0%, AOR = 1.77, p nation. Conclusion: Findings suggest that compared to the less mobile, highly mobile men report higher HIV risk behaviours: paid sex, alcohol use prior to paid sex and inconsistent condom use, at all locations along the routes of mobility. Interventions need to target men who are highly mobile along the routes of mobility and not at destination sites alone.
