Doped lanthanum manganites La_(1-x)Ca_(x)MnO_(3) with five different concentrations of Ca(x=0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4 and 0.5) were synthesized by high-temperature solidstate reaction method and *** prepared samples were experimentally analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD),ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy(UV-Vis),scanning electron microscopy/energy dispersive spectroscopy(SEM/EDS) and vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM)*** structure is confirmed for this compound from powder X-ray diffraction *** XRD data confirm the shrinkage in the unit cell of synthesized samples for increasing calcium *** UV-Visible analysis for the estimation of optical band gap(E_(g)) reveals that the band gap decreases with the incorporation of *** synthesized samples were investigated for charge density distribution using maximum entropy method,utilizing the XRD data *** the charge density analysis,it is found that the bond lengths for La-O and Mn-O bonds decrease with the addition of *** ionic nature between La and O atoms and covalent nature between Mn and O atoms are enhanced for 40% of *** 50% of Ca-doped sample,ionic nature between La and O atoms and covalent nature between Mn and O atoms *** the prepared samples exhibit ferromagnetism at 20 K and paramagnetism at 300 K.

Abiotic stresses are a significant factor that considerably limits plant growth and *** are an essential group of bacteria that utilize volatile carbon compounds,are prolific colonizers of different plant parts,and play a vital role in plant growth promotion(PGP)under stress *** rhizospheric and phyllosphere methylotrophs have been reported to exhibit PGP activities with superior stress-tolerating capacity against drought,heavy metal,salinity,high and low temperatures,solar ultraviolet radiation,and other harsh environmental *** promote plant growth through N2 fixation,phosphate solubilization,production of phytohormones(i.e.,auxins,gibberellins,and cytokinins),1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid(ACC)deaminase activity,siderophore,ammonia production,and secondary *** production of these compounds by methylotrophs protects a plant against adverse environmental conditions and influences its *** review discusses the role methylotrophs play in managing various abiotic stresses,how they help mitigate these stresses,and how they improve agricultural productivity.

Design of Precise Multiplier Using Inexact Compressor for Digital Signal Processing

In the recent years,error recovery circuits in optimized data path units are adopted with approximate computing *** this paper the novel multipliers have effective utilization in the newly proposed two different 4:2 approximate compressors that generate Error free Sum(ES)and Error free Carry(EC).Proposed ES and Proposed EC in 4:2 compressors are used for performing Partial Product(PP)*** structural arrangement utilizes Dadda structure based *** to the regularity of PP arrangement Dadda multiplier is chosen for compressor implementation that favors easy standard cell ASIC *** this,the proposed compression idealogy are more effective in the smallest n columns,and the accurate compressor in the remaining most significant *** limits the error in the multiplier output to be not more than 2n for an n X n *** choice among the proposed compressors is decided based on the significance of the sum and carry signals on the multiplier *** an enhancement to the proposed multiplier,we introduce two Area Efficient(AE)variants viz.,Proposed-AE(P-AE),and P-AE with Error Recovery(P-AEER).The proposed basic P-AE,and P-AEER designs exhibit 46.7%,52.9%,and 52.7%PDP reduction respectively when compared to an approximate multiplier of minimal error type and are designed with 90nm ASIC *** proposed design and their performance validation are done by using Cadence *** performance evaluations are carried out using cadence encounter with 90nm ASIC *** proposed-basic P-AEA and P-AEER designs demonstrate 46.7%,52.9%and 52.7%PDP reduction compared to the minimal error approximate *** proposed multiplier is implemented in digital image processing which revealed 0.9810 Structural SIMilarity Index(SSIM),to the least,and less than 3%deviation in ECG signal processing application.

Introduction:We investigated the magnitude and duration of desalination of Pulicat—a coastal lagoon ecosystem connected to the Bay of Bengal on the South-eastern coast of India—during the 2015 South India flood event which was a period of high-magnitude precipitation and riverine ***:We estimated freshwater runoff into the lagoon using flow accumulation models for a period of 55 days(November 1 to December 25,2015)using daily gridded precipitation data from the Global Precipitation Measurement and a digital elevation *** the estimates of freshwater runoff,direct precipitation and observed salinities,we simulated water and salinity fluxes of the lagoon using the Land-Ocean Interactions in the Coastal Zone ***,we also used Monte Carlo simulation to estimate the uncertainty in system salinity,the residual salinity at the boundary and the freshwater residence times in the ***:We estimated that a high volume(~760×10^(6) m^(3))of relatively low salinity waters(residual salinity=23.47 psu)had been exported from the lagoon to the Bay of Bengal during the period which is likely to have caused a strong dip in the daily salinity profile of the coastal *** contend that the lagoon experienced~40%desalination due to the 2015 event with a freshwater residence time of 18.5 ***:The study highlighted the short-term,high-magnitude desalination undergone by Pulicat lagoon during the 2015 South India *** the high residual and exchange volumes obtained from the study,we conclude that Pulicat could be a major exporter of relatively low salinity waters to the Bay of Bengal during monsoons.

In existing methods for segmented images,either edge point extraction or preservation of edges,compromising contrast images is so sensitive to *** Degeneration Threshold Image Detection(DTID)framework has been proposed to improve the contrast of edge filtered ***,DTID uses a Rapid Bilateral Filtering process for filtering edges of contrast *** filter decomposes input images into base layers in the DTID *** minimal filtering time,Rapid Bilateral Filtering handles high dynamic contrast images for smoothening edge *** the DTID framework,Rapid Bilateral Filtering with Shift-Invariant Base Pass Domain Filter is insensitive to *** Shift-Invariant Filtering estimates value across edges for removing outliers(i.e.,noise preserving base layers of the contrast image).The intensity values are calculated in the base layer of the contrast image for accurately detecting nearby spatial locations using Shift-Invariant base Pass Domain Filter(SIDF).At last,Affine Planar Transformation is applied to detect edge filtered contrast images in the DTID framework for attaining a high quality of the *** normalizes the translation and rotation of *** this,Degeneration Threshold Image Detection maximizes average contrast enhancement quality and performs an experimental evaluation of factors such as detection accuracy,rate,and filtering time on contrast *** analysis shows that the DTID framework reduces the filtering time taken on contrast images by 54%and improves average contrast enhancement quality by 27%compared to GUMA,HMRF,SWT,and *** provides better performance on the enhancement of average contrast enhancement quality by 28%,detection accuracy rate by 26%,and reduction in filtering time taken on contrast images by 30%compared to state-of-art methods.

Protists are essential components of soil biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. They play a vital role in the microbial food web as consumers of bacteria, fungi, and other small eukaryotes and are also involved in maintaining soil fertility and plant productivity. Protists also contribute to regulating and shaping the bacterial community in terrestrial ecosystems via specific prey spectra. They play a role in plant growth promotion and plant health improvement,mostly via nutrient cycling, grazing, and the activation of bacterial genes required for plant growth and phytopathogen suppression. Thus, protists may prove to be a useful inoculant as biofertilizer and biocontrol agent. They can also be applied as model organisms as bioindicators of soil health. Despite their usefulness and essentiality, they are often forgotten and under-researched components of the soil microbiome, as most of our research focuses on bacteria and fungi. In this review, we provide an overview of the role of protists in plant productivity and plant health management and in shifts in soil bacterial community composition, as well as their roles as bioindicator. We also discuss the perspectives of knowledge gaps and future prospects to further improve soil *** research in soil protistology will provide insights into sustainable agriculture and environmental health alongside the study of bacteria and fungi.

The polymer on modulating the crystal's habit is an evolving research in pharmaceutical *** study demonstrates the crystal habit modification of chlorzoxazone(CHZ)by heterogeneous crystallization(HC)in the binary solvent acetonitrile-ethanol(A-E(1:1))in the presence of polyvinylpyrrolidine(PVP)at concentrations of 0.50,0.75,and 1.00 wt%.The A-E(1:1)and PVP in HC experiments influenced to change the shape of crystals from needle to plate shape and reduced the crystal size producing a lower aspect ratio(in the range of 1.5-2.3).In the presence of PVP,the CHZ size distribution is 65-78μm which tends to enhance the powder flow-ability of CHZ crystals and as the PVP concentration increases,the nucleation rate *** solubility of size-reduced CHZ crystals at different pH is found to be improved by 1.2-1.4 ***,HC is deemed effective in modifying the physicochemical attributes of CHZ.

Silver nanoparticle （SNP） is a threat to soil, water and human health. Protection of environment from silver nanoparticles is a major concern. A sewage isolate, Bacillus pumilus treated with SNPs showed similar growth kinetics to that without nanoparticles. A reduction in the amount of exopolysaccharides was observed after SNPs - B. pumilus culture supernatant interaction. The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy （FT-IR） peaks for the exopolysaccharides extracted from the bacterial culture supernatant and＇the interacted SNPs were almost similar. The exopolysaccharide capping of the SNPs was confirmed by UV-Visible, FT-IR and X-ray diffraction analysis. The study of bacterial exopolysaccharides capped SNPs with E. coli, S. aureus and M. luteus showed less toxicity compared to uncoated SNPs. Our studies suggested that the capping of nanopartieles by bacterially produced exopolysaccharides serve as the probable mechanism of tolerance.

Demand for graphite in the forthcoming years to develop Li-ion batteries(LIBs)with the goal of driving electric vehicles(EV)and its requirement in multifarious energy storage applications as an *** emerging sector of LIB-based EVs,along with portable electronics,produces an inevitable volume of batteries in the e-waste *** main reason for the lower percentage of recycling(at present,<5%)is due to the recovery of economically rich metals like Li,Ni,and ***,complete recycling technologies,including the strategic material graphite,which is available in a massive amount of spent LIBs,are urgently needed to be updated to ensure the reuse of all *** approach lifts the recycling process to develop an economic one besides the geostrategic and environmental policy ***,we summarize the importance of graphite and its demand and specify the reasons to recycle the graphite from spent LIBs along with its development as an anode in ***,the approach of the current recycling process of graphite in lab-scale and industries for various applications,including energy storage,are discussed with the highlights of future progress.
