Experimental study of the effects of a multistage pore-throat structure on the seepage characteristics of sandstones in the Beibuwan Basin:Insights into the flooding mode

To investigate the relationship between grain sizes, seepage capacity, and oil-displacement efficiency in the Liushagang Formation of the Beibuwan Basin, this study identifies the multistage pore-throat structure as a crucial factor through a comparison of oil displacement in microscopic pore-throat experiments. The two-phase flow evaluation method based on the Li-Horne model is utilized to effectively characterize and quantify the seepage characteristics of different reservoirs, closely relating them to the distribution of microscopic pores and throats. It is observed that conglomerate sandstones at different stages exhibit significant heterogeneity and noticeable differences in seepage capacity, highlighting the crucial role played by certain large pore throats in determining seepage capacity and oil displacement efficiency. Furthermore, it was found that the displacement effects of conglomeratic sandstones with strong heterogeneity were inferior to those of conventional homogeneous sandstone, as evidenced by multiple displacement experiments conducted on core samples with varying granularities and flooding systems. subsequently, core-based experiments on associated gas flooding after water flooding were conducted to address the challenge of achieving satisfactory results in a single displacement mode for reservoirs with significant heterogeneity. The results indicate that the oil recovery rates for associated gas flooding after water flooding increased by 7.3%-16.4% compared with water flooding alone at a gas-oil ratio of approximately 7000 m^(3)/m^(3). Therefore, considering the advantages of gas flooding in terms of seepage capacity, oil exchange ratio, and the potential for two-phase production, gas flooding is recommended as an energy supplement mode for homogeneous reservoirs in the presence of sufficient gas source and appropriate tectonic angle. Hepatocellular carcinoma is a common and fatal malignancy for which there is no effective systemic therapeutic ***(DHA),a derivative of artemisinin,has been shown to exert anti-tumor effects through the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS)and resultant mitochondrial ***,clinical translation is limited by several drawbacks,such as insolubility,instability and low ***,based on a nanomedicine-based delivery strategy,we fabricated mitochondria-targeted carrier-free nanoparticles coupling DHA and triphenylphosphonium(TPP),aiming to improve bioavailability and mitochondrial ***-TPP nanoparticles can be passively delivered to the tumor site by enhanced penetration and retention and then *** cytometry and Western blot analysis showed that DHA-TPP nanoparticles increased intracellular ROS,which increased mitochondrial stress and in turn upregulated the downstream Bcl-2 pathway,leading to *** vivo experiments showed that DHA-TPP nanoparticles exhibited anti-tumor effects in a mouse model of hepatocellular *** findings suggest carrier-free DHA-TPP nanoparticles as a potential therapeutic strategy for hepatocellular carcinoma.

Dendritic nanomedicine enhances chemoimmunotherapy by disturbing metabolism of cancer-associated fibroblasts for deep penetration and activating function of immune cells

Inefficient drug penetration hurdled by the stroma in the tumor tissue leads to a diminished therapeutic effect for drugs and a reduced infiltration level of immune ***,we constructed a PEGylated dendritic epirubicin(Epi)prodrug(Epi-P4D)to regulate the metabolism of cancer-associated fibroblasts(CAFs),thus enhancing Epi penetration into both multicellular tumor spheroids(MTSs)and tumor tissues in mouse colon cancer(CT26),mouse breast cancer(4T1)and human breast cancer(MDA-MB-231)*** cytotoxicity against CT26 MTSs and remarkable antitumor efficacy of Epi-P4D were ascribed to reduced fibronectin,α-SMA,and collagen ***,thinning of the tumor tissue stroma and efficient eradication of tumor cells promoted the immunogenic cell death effect for dendritic cell(DC)maturation and subsequent immune activation,including elevating the CD4^(+)T cell population,reducing CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T cell hyperactivation and exhaustion,and amplifying the natural killer(NK)cell proportion and effectively activating *** a result,this dendritic nanomedicine thinned the stroma of tumor tissues to enhance drug penetration and facilitate immune cell infiltration for elevated antitumor efficacy.

Photocatalytic carbon dioxide(CO_(2))to carbon monoxide(CO)offers a promising way for both alleviating the greenhouse effect and meeting the industrial ***,we constructed a Co single-atom catalyst with intentional low-coordination environment design on porous ZnO(denoted as Co1/ZnO).Impressively,Co1/ZnO exhibited a remarkable activity with a CO yield rate of 22.25 mmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1) and a selectivity of 80.2%for CO_(2) photoreduction reactions under visible *** incorporation of single Co atoms provided an additional photo-generated electron transfer channel,which suppressed the carrier recombination of ***,the unsaturated Co active sites were capable to adsorb CO_(2) molecule spontaneously,thus facilitating the activation of CO_(2) molecule during CO_(2) reduction course.

Polynomial-Time Key-Recovery Attacks Against NTRURe Encrypt from ASIACCS'15

In ASIACCS 2015, Nu nez, et al. proposed a proxy re-encryption scheme, named NTRURe Encrypt, based on NTRU, which allows a proxy to translate ciphertext under the delegator’s public key into a re-encrypted ciphertext that can be decrypted correctly by delegatee’s private key. Because of the potential resistance to quantum algorithm, high efficiency and various applications in real life,NTRURe Encrypt has drawn lots of attention and its security has been widely discussed and *** PQCrypto2019, Liu, et al. proposed two key recovery attacks against it. However, their first attack heavily relies on a weaken decryption oracle, and the second attack needs to collect about 260ciphertexts from the same message by theoretical analysis, which makes both of the attacks unrealistic. In this paper, inspired by the broadcast attack against NTRU, the authors find out that for NTRURe Encrypt the delegator and the delegatee can efficiently recover each other’s private key in polynomial time without any unrealistic assumptions. In addition, the authors also show how to fix NTRURe Encrypt to resist the proposed attacks. As a by-product, the authors also show how to commit broadcast attacks against NTRU 2001 with even dg, which was thought infeasible before.

Research Progress on Bio‑inspired Flapping‑Wing Rotor Micro Aerial Vehicle Development

Flapping-wing rotor(FWR)is an innovative bio-inspired micro aerial vehicle capable of vertical take-off and *** unique design combines active flapping motion and passive wing rotation around a vertical central shaft to enhance aerodynamic *** research on FWR,though relatively new,has contributed to 6%of core journal publications in the micro aerial vehicle field over the past two *** paper presents the first comprehensive review of FWR,analysing the current state of the art,key advances,challenges,and future research *** review highlights FWR’s distinctive kinematics and aerodynamic superiority compared to traditional flapping wings,fixed wings,and rotary wings,discussing recent breakthroughs in efficient,passive wing pitching and asymmetric stroke amplitude for lift *** experiments and remote-controlled take-off and hovering tests of single and dual-motor FWR models have showcased their *** review compares FWR flight performance with well-developed insect-like flapping-wing micro aerial vehicles as the technology readiness level progresses from laboratory to outdoor flight testing,advancing from the initial flight of a 2.6 g prototype to the current free flight of a 60-gram *** review also presents ongoing research in bionic flexible wing structures,flight stability and control,and transitioning between hovering and cruise flight modes for an FWR,setting the stage for potential applications.
