B型单胺氧化酶抑制剂治疗早期帕金森病:对3525例患者17项随机试验的荟萃分析

Objective: To quantify more r.l.ably the benefits and risks of monoamine oxidase type B inhibitors (MAOBIs) in early Parkinsons disease. Data sources: Searches of the Cochrane library, Medline, Embase, PubMed, and We b of Science for years 1966-2003, plus major journals in the field, abstract bo oks, and proceedings of meetings, for randomised trials comparing MAOBIs with pl acebo or.l.vodopa. Data extraction: Available data on mortality, motor complicat ions, side effects, treatment compliance, and clinician rated disability (for ex ample, unified Par kinsons disease rating scale) were extracted from 17 trial s and combined using standard meta analytic methods. results: No significant di fference in mortality existed between patients on MAOBIs and contr.l.patients (o dds ratio 1.13, 95%confidence interval 0.94 to 1.34; P=0.2). Patients randomise d to MAOBIs had significantly better total scores, motor scores, and activities of daily living scores on the unified Parkinsons disease rating scale at three months compared with patients taking placebo; they were also less likely to nee d additional levodopa (0.57, 0.48 to 0.67; P r to develop motor fluc tuations (0.75, 0.59 to 0.95; P = 0.02). No difference existed between the two g roups in the incidence of side effects or withdrawal of patients. Conclusions: M AOBIs reduce disability, the need for.l.vodopa, and the incidence of motor fluct uations, without substantial side effects or increased mortality. However, becau se few trials have compared MAOBIs with other antiparkinsonian drugs, uncertaint y remains about the r.l.tive benefits and risks of MAOBIs. Further.l.rge, long t erm comparative trials that include patient rated quality of life measures are n eeded.

Serum ferritin and the risk of early-onset colorectal cancer

Deep bed filtration model for cake filtration and erosion

Many phenomena in nature and technology are associated with the filtration of suspensions and colloids in porous media. Two main types of particle deposition,namely, cake filtration at the inlet and deep bed filtration throughout the entire porous medium, are studied by different models. A unified approach for the transport and deposition of particles based on the deep bed filtration model is proposed. A variable suspension flow rate, proportional to the number of free pores at the inlet of the porous medium, is considered. To model cake filtration, this flow rate is introduced into the mass balance equation of deep bed filtration. For the cake filtration without deposit erosion,the suspension flow rate decreases to zero, and the suspension does not penetrate deep into the porous medium. In the case of the cake filtration with erosion, the suspension flow rate is nonzero, and the deposit is distributed throughout the entire porous medium. An exact solution is obtained for a constant filtration function. The method of characteristics is used to construct the asymptotics of the concentration front of suspended and retained particles for a filtration function in a gener.l.form. Explicit formulae are obtained for a linear filtration function. The properties of these solutions are studied in detail.

On an isotropic porous solid cylinder:the analytical solution and sensitivity analysis of the pressure

Within this work,we perform a sensitivity analysis to determine the influence of the material input parameters on the pressure in an isotropic porous solid *** provide a step-by-step guide to obtain the analytical solution for a porous isotropic elastic cylinder in terms of the pressure,stresses,and elastic *** obtain the solution by performing a laplace transform on the governing equations,which are those of Biot's poroelasticity in cylindrical polar *** enforce radial boundary conditions and obtain the solution in the laplace transformed domain before reverting back to the time *** sensitivity analysis is then carried out,considering only the derived pressure *** analysis finds that the time t,Biot's modulus M,and Poisson's ratio ν have the highest influence on the pressure whereas the initial value of pressure P_(0) plays a very little r.l..

Anode-free li-metal batteries are of significant interest to energy storage industries due to their intrinsically high ***,the accumulative li dendrites and dead li continuously consume active li during *** results in a short lifetime and low Coulombic efficiency of anode-free li-metal *** effective electr.l.te additives can improve the li deposition homogeneity and solid electr.l.te interphase(SEI)stability for anode-free li-metal ***,we reveal that introducing dual additives,composed of liAsF6 and fluoroethylene carbonate,into a low-cost commercial carbonate electr.l.te will boost the cycle life and average Coulombic efficiency of NMC‖Cu anode-free li-metal *** NMC‖Cu anode-free li-metal batteries with the dual additives exhibit a capacity retention of about 75%after 50 cycles,much higher than those with bare electr.l.tes(35%).The average Coulombic efficiency of the NMC‖Cu anode-free li-metal batteries with additives can maintain 98.3%over 100 *** contrast,the average Coulombic efficiency without additives rapidly decline to 97%after only 50 *** situ raman measurements reveal that the prepared dual additives facilitate denser and smoother.l. morphology during li *** dual additives significantly suppress the li dendrite growth,enabling stable SEI formation on anode and cathode *** results provide a broad view of developing low-cost and high-effective functional electr.l.tes for high-energy and long-life anode-free li-metal batteries.

A machine learning model for regression of interrupted Surface Electromyography(sEMG)signals to future contr.l.oriented signals(e.g.,robot’s joint angle and assistive torque)of an active biomechatronic device for high-level myoelectric-based hierarchical contr.l.is proposed.A recurrent Neur.l.Network(rNN)was trained using output data,initially obtained from offline optimization of the biomechatronic(human–robot)device and shifted by the prediction *** input of the rNN consisted of interrupted sEMG signals(to mimic signal disconnections)and previous kinematic signals of the assistive *** rNN with a 0.1-s prediction horizon could predict the contr.l.oriented joint angle and assistive torque with 92%and 86.5%regression accuracy,respectively,for the test *** proposed approach permits a fast,predictive,and direct estimation of contr.l.oriented signals instead of an iterative process that optimizes assistive torque in the inverse dynamic simulation of a multibody human–robot *** with these interrupted input signals significantly improves the regression accuracy in the case of sEMG signal *** robust Predictive Contr.l.oriented Machine learning(robust-MuscleNET)model can support volitional high-level myoelectric-based contr.l.of biomechatronic devices,such as exoskeletons,prostheses,and assistive/resistive *** work should study the application to prosthesis contr.l.as well as the repeatability of the high-level contr.l.er with electrode *** low-level hierarchical contr.l.er that manages the human–robot interaction,the assistance/resistance strategy,and the actuator coordination should also be studied.

Tomographic reconstruction of the Earth’s magnetosheath from multiple spacecraft:a theoretical study

Following our earlier work on tomographic reconstruction of the magnetosheath soft X-ray emissions with superposed epoch analysis of many images recorded from a single spacecraft we now explore the instantaneous reconstruction of the magnetosheath and magnetopause using a few images recorded simultaneously from a few *** work is motivated by the prospect of possibly having two or three soft X-ray imagers in space in the coming years,and that many phenomena which occur at the magnetopause boundary,such as reconnection events and pressure pulse responses,do not lend themselves as well to superposed epoch *** the reconstruction is successful-which we demonstrate in this paper that it can be-this collection of imagers can be used to reconstruct the magnetosheath and magnetopause from a single image from each spacecraft,allowing for high time resolution *** this paper we explore the reconstruction using,two,three,and four *** show that the location of the subsolar point of the magnetopause can be determined with just two satellites,and that volume emissions of soft X-rays,and the shape of the boundary,can be reconstructed using three or more satellites.

Prediction of the undrained shear strength of remolded soil with non-linear regression,fuzzy logic,and artificial neur.l.network

This study aims to predict the undrained shear strength of remolded soil samples using non-linear regression analyses,fuzzy logic,and artificial neur.l.network modeling.A total of 1306 undrained shear strength results from 230 different remolded soil test settings reported in 21 publications were collected,utilizing six different measurement *** water content,plastic limit,and liquid limit were used as input parameters for fuzzy logic and artificial neur.l.network modeling,liquidity index or water content ratio was considered as an input parameter for non-linear regression *** non-linear regression analyses,12 different regression equations were derived for the prediction of undrained shear strength of remolded ***-Forward backpropagation and the TANSIG transfer function were used for artificial neur.l.network modeling,while the Mamdani inference system was preferred with trapezoidal and triangular membership functions for fuzzy logic *** experimental results of 914 tests were used for training of the artificial neur.l.network models,196 for validation and 196 for *** was observed that the accuracy of the artificial neur.l.network and fuzzy logic modeling was higher than that of the non-linear regression ***,a simple and r.l.able regression equation was proposed for assessments of undrained shear strength values with higher coefficients of determination.
