Mass spectrometry imaging(MSI)plays a pivotal role in investigating the chemical nature of complex systems that underly our understanding in biology and *** fields of life science such as proteomics,lipidomics and metabolomics benefit from the ability to simultaneously identify molecules and pinpoint their distribution across a ***,achieving the necessary submicron spatial resolution to distinguish chemical differences between individual cells and generating intact molecular spectra is still a challenge with any single imaging ***,we developed an approach that combines two MSI techniques,matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization(MALDI)and time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(toF-SIMS),one with low spatial resolution but intact molecular spectra and the other with nanometer spatial resolution but fragmented molecular signatures,to predict molecular MSI spectra with submicron spatial resolution.

八维癌症特异性效用量表(FACt-8D)的开发为癌症领域经济学评价研究,尤其是癌症患者的健康效用值测量提供了新的工具选择。部分国家已经完成或正在进行FACt-8D健康效用积分体系的构建,但国内关于该量表的信息仍然有限。文章对FACt-8D进行系统介绍,首先,简述FACt-8D的开发过程及健康状态分级系统;其次,以澳大利亚为例,介绍FACt-8D健康效用积分体系的构建方法、流程和结果;再次,总结FACt-8D的测量属性;最后,对该量表的应用与发展进行展望。总之,应尽早参考标准化方案构建基于中国人群的FACt-8D效用积分体系,进一步验证FACt-8D的测量属性,探索针对不同癌症种类患者的“附加”维度。

to help determine in what ways virtual reality(VR)technologies may benefit reservoir engineering workflows,we conducted a usability study on a prototype VR tool for performing reservoir model analysis *** leveraging the strengths of VR technologies,this tool’s aim is to help advance reservoir analysis workflows beyond conventional methods by improving how one understands,analyzes,and interacts with reservoir model *** evaluate our tool’s VR approach to this,the study presented herein was conducted with reservoir engineering experts who used the VR tool to perform three common reservoir model analysis tasks:the spatial filtering of model cells using movable planes,the cross-comparison of multiple models,and well path *** study found that accomplishing these tasks with the VR tool was generally regarded as easier,quicker,more effective,and more intuitive than traditional model analysis software while maintaining a feeling of low task workload on ***,participants provided positive feedback regarding their experience with using VR to perform reservoir engineering work tasks,and in general,it was found to improve multi-model cross-analysis and rough object manipulation in *** indicates the potential for VR to be better than conventional means for some work tasks and participants also expressed they could see it best utilized as an addition to current software in their reservoir model analysis *** were,however,some concerns voiced when considering the full adoption of VR into their work that would be best first addressed before this took place.

A facile chemical method for the development of photocatalytic coating products was proposed based on practical application perspective for the Hong Kong roadside nitrogen oxides(NO_(x))***_(2)-based photocatalytic coating PC-C film with crystallized size of around 5–6 nm was synthesized with the peptization of H_(2)O_(2).the PC-C coating possesses a super-hydrophilicity surface and is proven to have a NO_(x)degradation rate of 46.8%with an optimum pH level of *** addition,the PC-C coating presents a promising photocatalytic NO_(x)degradation compared with other commercially available coating products and P25 when applied on two building materials of poly-methyl methacrylate(PMMA)and concrete surface.A weather resistance simulation and a 180-day on-site field trial were carried out the attenuation effects of photocatalytic coating applied in outdoor *** on epidemiological estimation and field investigation,hospital admissions for respiratory diseases(HARD)and mortality cases(MC)could be reduced with the application of PC-C coating along the street *** work demonstrates the feasibility of air pollution control measures for the local roadside NO_(x)using photocatalytic technology,offering promising health benefits with environmental remediation.

Although it is well known that water is essential for biological function, it has been a challenge to determine how water behaves near biomacromolecular interfaces, and what role water plays in influencing the dynamics of the biochemical machinery. By adopting a vibrational labeling strategy coupled with ultrafast two-dimensional infrared （2D-IR） spectroscopy, it has recently become possible to study hydration dynamics, site specifically at the surface of proteins and model membranes. We review our recent progress in measuring hydration dynamics in contexts ranging from small-molecule solutes to biomacromolecules in dilute, viscous, and crowded environments.
