We have investigated the distributions of alkylcarbazoles in a series of crude oils with different biodegradation extents, in combination with biomarker parameters, stable carbon isotopic ratios and viscosities. The analyses showed that slight biodegradation has little effect on alkylcarbazoles. The concentrations of C\-0-, C\-1-, and C\-2-carbazoles seem to display a slight decrease with biodegradation through the moderately biodegraded stage, and an abrupt decrease to the heavily biodegraded stage. The relative concentrations of C\-0-, C\-1-, and C\-2-carbazoles do not show any apparent change in the non-heavily biodegraded stages, but through non-heavily biodegraded to heavily biodegraded stages, the percentages of C\-0- and C\-1-carbazoles decrease, and those of C\-2-carbazoles increase significantly, which may indicate that C\-2-carbazoles are more resistant to biodegradation than lower homologous species. As to C\-2-carbazole isomers, the relative concentrations of the pyrrolic N-H-shielded, pyrrolic N-H partially shielded and pyrrolic N-H-exposed isomers do not show any obvious variation in the non-heavily biodegraded oil, but there is an abrupt change through the mid-biodegraded stage to the heavily biodegraded stage.

Gas hydrate samples were first obtained in the Dongsha area,South China Sea(GMGS2)in ***-resolution 3D seismic data in the area show various small 1andslide bodies developedas huge mass transport *** bodies are divided into seven types on the basis of theirshapes,intermal structures and geneses(slide,collapse and deformation above BSRs,as well asthe slump wedge,lens,block and sheet below BSRs).Based on this classification,detailed studieswere conducted,including measurements of the slump body sizes and slope gradients of landslides,depiction of their three-dimensional characteristics,and research on the landslide *** the genetic differences of these seven types,this study analyses the possibility of verticalflow-pattern-transformation and mechanisms of submarine landsltide *** show that thedominant factor influencing the submarine landslides in the Dongsha area is the free gas emitted fromgas hydrate decomposition,with possible fransformation between flow ***,there are twokinds of relationships between submarine landslides and BSRs since the free gas either influences thesubmarine landslide bodies below or above BSRs,resulting in two types of submarine landslide bodyassociations:Type A is characterized by submarine slide above BSRs and slump lens below BSRs,whereas Type B shows deformation above BSRs and slump blocks below *** Ais favourablefor gas exploration because it indicates less decomposition and better sealing of gas hydrate layers.

As the next-generation mobile broadband networks, Ultra Mobile Broadband (UMB) and Long Term Evolution (LTE) continue to improve the mobile broadband performance and capacity by allowing operators to leverage new spectrum with wider bandwidths of 10 MHz and more. This will in turn enable the operators to address exciting market opportunities and service proliferation in high tele-density areas. This article discusses the drivers for the next-generation mobile broadband networks, and market opportunities of UMB and LTE. There are at least three key drivers for the networks: increasing device capabilities; growing mobile data consumption; and maintaining operator profitability. The opportunities include laptops, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) and fixed broadband access, premium Video on Demand (VOD)/Music on Demand (MOD) services, multimedia upload and exchange services, consumer electronics and business applications for vertical markets.

In this paper, we investigate the effect of pressure on the growth mode of high quality （10-11） GaN using an epi- taxial lateral over growth （ELO） technique by metal organic chemical vapor deposition （MOCVD）. Two pressure growth conditions, high pressure （HP） 1013 mbar and low pressure growth （LP） 500 mbar, are employed during growth. In the high pressure growth conditions, the crystal quality is improved by decreasing the dislocation and stack fault density in the strip connection locations. The room temperature photoluminescence measurement also shows that the light emission intensity increases three times using the HP growth condition compared with that using the LP growth conditions. In the low temperature （77 K） photoluminescence, the defects-related peaks are very obvious in the low pressure growth samples. This result also indicates that the crystal quality is improved using the high pressure growth conditions.
