Extrap.lation of imp.osion p.rformance between different laser energy scales is investigated for indirect drive through a semi-hydroequivalent *** radiation transp.rt is non-hydro-equivalent,the p.ak radiation temp.rature of the hohlraum and the ablation velocity of the cap.ule ablator are not scale-invariant when the sizes of the hohlraum and the cap.ule are scale-varied.A semi-hydro-equivalent design method that keep. the imp.osion velocity V_(i),adiabat α_(F),and p.(L)/R_(hc)^(2) (where p.(L) is the laser p.wer and R_(hc) is the hohlraum and cap.ule scale length)scale-invariant,is p.op.sed to create hydrodynamically similar *** semi-hydro-equivalent design and the scaled imp.osion p.rformance are investigated for the 100 kJ Laser Facility(100 kJ-scale)and the National Ignition Facility(NIF-scale)with about 2 MJ laser *** is found that the one-dimensional imp.osion p.rformance is ap.roximately hydro-equivalent when V_(i) and α_(F) are kep. the *** to the non-hydro-equivalent radiation transp.rt,the yield-over-clean without α-p.rticle heating(YOC_(noα))is slightly lower at 100 kJ-scale than at NIF-scale for the same scaled radiation asymmetry or the same initial p.rturbation of the hydrodynamic *** overall scaled two-dimensional imp.osion p.rformance is slightly lower at 100 *** general Lawson criterion factor scales asχ_(noα) ^(2D)∼S^(1.06±0.04)(where S is the scale-variation factor)for the semi-hydro-equivalent imp.osion design with a moderate YOC_(noα).Our study indicates that χ_(noα)≈0.379 is the minimum requirement for the 100 kJ-scale imp.osion to demonstrate the ability to achieve marginal ignition at NIF-scale.

The study delves into the exp.nding role of network p.atforms in our daily lives, encomp.ssing various mediums like blogs, forums, online chats, and p.ominent social media p.atforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. While these p.atforms offer avenues for self-exp.ession and community sup.ort, they concurrently harbor negative imp.cts, fostering antisocial behaviors like p.ishing, imp.rsonation, hate sp.ech, cyberbullying, cyberstalking, cyberterrorism, fake news p.op.gation, sp.mming, and fraud. Notably, individuals also leverage these p.atforms to connect with authorities and seek aid during disasters. The overarching objective of this research is to address the dual nature of network p.atforms by p.op.sing innovative methodologies aimed at enhancing their p.sitive asp.cts and mitigating their negative rep.rcussions. To achieve this, the study introduces a weight learning method grounded in multi-linear attribute ranking. This ap.roach serves to evaluate the significance of attribute combinations across all feature sp.ces. Additionally, a novel clustering method based on tensors is p.op.sed to elevate the quality of clustering while effectively distinguishing selected features. The methodology incorp.rates a weighted average similarity matrix and op.ionally integrates weighted Euclidean distance, contributing to a more nuanced understanding of attribute imp.rtance. The analysis of the p.op.sed methods yields significant findings. The weight learning method p.oves instrumental in discerning the imp.rtance of attribute combinations, shedding light on key asp.cts within feature sp.ces. Simultaneously, the clustering method based on tensors exhibits imp.oved efficacy in enhancing clustering quality and feature distinction. This not only advances our understanding of attribute imp.rtance but also p.ves the way for more nuanced data analysis methodologies. Elevational p.tterns of warming effects on p.ant community and top.oil p.op.rties: focus on subalp.ne meadows ecosystem

Climate warming p.ofoundly affects p.ant biodiversity, community p.oductivity, and soil p.op.rties in alp.ne and subalp.ne grassland ecosystems. However, these effects are p.orly understood across elevational gradients in subalp.ne meadow ecosystems. To reveal the elevational p.tterns of warming effects on p.ant biodiversity, community structure, p.oductivity, and soil p.op.rties, we conducted a warming exp.riment using op.n-top.chambers from August 2019 to August 2022 at high(2764 m a. s. l.), medium(2631 m a. s. l.), and low(2544 m a. s. l.) elevational gradients on a subalp.ne meadow slop. of Mount Wutai, Northern China. Our results showed that three years of warming significantly increased top.oil temp.rature but significantly decreased top.oil moisture at all elevations(p.0.05), and the p.rcentage of increasing temp.rature and decreasing moisture both gradually raised with elevation lifting. Warming-induced decreasing p.op.rtions of soil organic carbon(SOC, by 19.24%), and total nitrogen(TN, by 24.56%) were the greatest at high elevational gradients. Exp.rimental warming did not affect top.oil C: N, p.H, NO_(3)^(-)-N, or NH_(4)^(+)-N at the three elevational gradients. Warming significantly increased sp.cies richness(p.0.01) and Shannon-Weiner index(p.0.05) at low elevational gradients but significantly decreased belowground biomass(p.0.05) at a dep.h of 0–10 cm at three elevational gradients. Warming caused significant increases in the aboveground biomass in the three elevational p.ots. Warming significantly increased the aboveground biomass of graminoids in medium(by 92.47%) and low(by 98.25%) elevational gradients, that of sedges in high(by 72.44%) and medium(by 57.16%) elevational p.ots, and that of forbs in high(by 75.88%), medium(by 34.38%), and low(by 74.95%) elevational p.ots. Sp.cies richness had significant linear correlations with SOC, TN, and C: N(p.0.05), but significant nonlinear resp.nses to soil temp.rature and soil moisture in the warmed treatm

Data-driven discovery of p.rtial differential equations(p.Es)has recently made tremendous p.ogress,and many canonical p.Es have been discovered successfully for p.oof of ***,determining the most p.op.r p.E without p.ior references remains challenging in terms of p.actical *** this work,a p.ysics-informed information criterion(p.C)is p.op.sed to measure the p.rsimony and p.ecision of the discovered p.E *** p.op.sed p.C achieves satisfactory robustness to highly noisy and sp.rse data on 7 canonical p.Es from different p.ysical scenes,which confirms its ability to handle difficult *** p.C is also emp.oyed to discover unrevealed macroscale governing equations from microscop.c simulation data in an actual p.ysical *** results show that the discovered macroscale p.E is p.ecise and p.rsimonious and satisfies underlying symmetries,which facilitates understanding and simulation of the p.ysical *** p.op.sition of the p.C enables p.actical ap.lications of p.E discovery in discovering unrevealed governing equations in broader p.ysical scenes.

Cyclic p.lymers are a class of p.lymers that feature endless top.logy,and the synthesis of cyclic p.lymers has attracted the attention of many ***,cyclic p.lymers were efficiently constructed by self-folding cyclization technique at high *** p.ly((oligo(ethylene glycol)acrylate)-co-(dodecyl acrylate))(p.OEGA-co-DDA))p.ecursors with different ratios of hydrop.ilic and hydrop.obic moieties were synthesized by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT)p.lymerization using a bifunctional chain transfer agent with two anthryl end *** amp.ip.ilic linear p.ecursors underwent the self-folding p.ocess to generate p.lymeric nanop.rticles in *** irradiating the aqueous solution of the nanop.rticles with 365 nm UV light,cyclic p.lymers were synthesized successfully via coup.ing of anthryl *** effects of the ratios of hydrop.ilic and hydrop.obic moieties in linear p.OEGA-co-DDA)cop.lymers and p.lymer concentration on the p.rity of the obtained cyclic p.lymers were exp.ored in detail via ^(1)H nuclear magnetic resonance(^(1)H NMR),dynamic light scattering(DLS),UV‒visible(vis)analysis,three-detection size exclusion chromatograp.y(TD-SEC)and transmission electron microscop.(TEM).It was found that by adjusting the content of the hydrop.ilic segments in linear p.ecursors,single chain p.lymeric nanop.rticles(SCp.s)can be generated at high p.lymer ***,cyclic p.lymers with high p.rity can be constructed *** method overcomes the limitation of traditional ring-closure method,which is typ.cally conducted in highly dilute conditions,p.oviding an efficient method for the scalable p.ep.ration of cyclic p.lymers.

Studies on the temp.ral,structural,and interacting features of the clubroot resistance gene Rcr1 using CRISp./Cas9-based systems

Clubroot disease is a severe threat to Brassica crop. globally,p.rticularly in western *** resistance,achieved through p.ramiding clubroot resistance(CR)genes with different modes of action,is the most imp.rtant strategy for managing the ***,studies on the CR gene functions are quite *** this study,we have conducted investigations into the temp.ral,structural,and interacting features of a newly cloned CR gene,Rcr1,using CRISp./Cas9 *** temp.ral functionality,we develop.d a novel CRISp./Cas9-based binary vector,p.HIGR-Hsp.8.2,to deliver Rcr1 into a suscep.ible canola line(DH12075)and observed that early exp.ession of Rcr1 is critical for conferring *** structural functionality,several indep.ndent mutations in sp.cific domains of Rcr1 resulted in loss-offunction,highlighting their imp.rtance for CR *** the study of the interacting features of Rcr1,a cysteine p.otease gene and its homologous allele in canola were successfully disrup.ed via CRISp./Cas9 as an interacting comp.nent with Rcr1 p.otein,resulting in the conversion from clubroot resistant to suscep.ible in p.ants carrying intact *** results indicated an indisp.nsable role of these two cysteine p.oteases in Rcr1-mediated resistance *** study,the first of its kind,p.ovides valuable insights into the functionality of ***,the new vector p.HHIGR-Hsp.8.2 demonstrated an inducible feature on the removal of add-on traits,which should be useful for functional genomics and other similar research in brassica crop..
