Coupled tripartite investigation of breaker fluid invasion and impact on hydrocarbon recovery in sandstone reservoirs

Breaker fluids are designed to dissolve filter cakes by breaking their long-chain molecules,thereby removing solid deposits on the wellbore *** breaker fluids are not intended to infiltrate the hydrocarbon reservoir,they can invade and cause formation damage by altering sandstone reservoirs'wettability and relative *** can lead to a reduction in the overall reservoir *** study coupled tripartite methods to investigate the potential impact of breaker invasion and transport in hydrocarbon reservoirs and its multiscale effect on the performances of sandstone *** utilized experimental,analytical,and numerical methods to assess and predict the susceptibility of reservoirs to breaker fluid invasion and *** experimental and empirical investigations considered varying breaker fluid formulations to evaluate the effects of breaker fluid concentration,formation temperature,and solution gas-oil ratio(GOR)on residual-oil saturation(ROS)and oil-water relative *** adopting the ROS and relative permeability associated with the 50%v/v breaker fluid mixture,the performance of the hydrocarbon reservoir was numerically simulated under the limiting scenarios of no-invasion,moderate-invasion,and deep-invasion of breaker *** results indicate a positive correlation between breaker fluid concentration and ROS,highlighting the risks that breaker fluid invasion and deep infiltration pose to hydrocarbon ***,results show that both live-oil condition(LOC)and dead-oil condition(DOC)reservoirs are susceptible to the detrimental impacts of breaker fluid infiltration,while their invasion can reduce hydrocarbon recovery in both LOC(-6%)and DOC(-28%).The multi-scale effects on reservoir performance are more pronounced at near-wellbore and DOC than at far-field and *** from this work provide valuable insights into the complexity of breaker-fluid invasion in sandstone reservoirs and the mitigation of as

Assessing the relationship between health literacy intervention and hypertension self-management:A 7-year systematic review from January 2016 to December 2022

Hypertension(HTN)is one of the most common chronic diseases affecting over 30%of the adult population globally,with a growing incidence *** review assesses the relationship between health literacy(HL)intervention and hypertension(HTN)self-management among people with *** study design was a systematic review of empirical research articles using a well-defined *** journals were accessed through databases such as PubMed,CiNAHL,Google Scholar,ProQuest,Global Health,WHOLiS,Embase,and EbscoHost,spanning from January 2016 to December 2022 as the scope of the *** selected for inclusion were those published in English during the specified time frame and adhering to Preferred Reporting items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines and Sample,Phenomenon of interest,Design,Evaluation,Research Type framework for systematic review,focusing on criteria related to the sample,the phenomenon of interest,study design,evaluation,and research *** of 180 studies initially identified in the database search,20 studies were ultimately included in the *** findings were reported based on these five emerging themes:Relationship between HL and HTN self-management;Effect of HL intervention on HTN self-management;Factors predicting self-care behaviors among HTN patients with low HL;Effect of HL and self-management efficacy on health-related quality of life(HRQoL);and level of self-care *** review highlights a relationship between HL,self-efficacy,self-care,and HRQoL,underscoring the necessity for further well-designed intervention studies focused on enhancing HL in individuals with HTN in Nigeria to enhance their quality of life.

Chemical Stability and Thermal Equation of State of SiN: implications for Nitrogen Storage in the Deep Earth

Most nitrogen is predicted to reside in the Earth’s interior and could be in the form of nitrides. in this study， the chemical reaction of Si3N4with SiO2was explored up to 50 GPa and 2600 K using laser-heated diamond anvil cells combined with synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction. The experimental results demonstrate that Si3N4does not react with SiO2and cubic γ-Si3N4remains stable at extreme pressure and temperature. First-principles calculations were performed to investigate the chemical stability of Si3N4with the SiO2-MgO assemblage， showing that Si3N4can coexist with Mg2SiO4and MgSiO3polymorphs. Based on our thermal equation of state of cubic γ-Si3N4， we suggest that cubic γ-Si3N4is denser than the upper mantle but less dense than the lower mantle. The formation of Si3N4in the early Earth may contribute to the nitrogen preservation in the deep mantle soon after crystallization of the mantle and Si3N4is likely a precursor of nitrogen hosts in the modern deep Earth.

Study of Factors Associated with the Practice of Vaccination against COViD-19 among Medical Science Students in Dakar (Senegal)

introduction: Almost a year after the start of the COViD-19 pandemic, Senegal embarked on a vaccination campaign to protect its population. The objective of this study was to identify the factors influencing the COViD-19 vaccination practices within a health training university in Dakar. Methodology: This was a cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical study carried out from October 21 2021 to February 21 2022 among students at the Elhadj ibrahima Niass private University in Dakar, Senegal. A 28-question online questionnaire was sent to all students enrolled at the university during this period. Results: Of the 576 students who responded, the average age was 22.60 years, with females predominating (57.81%). Medical students accounted for 66.14% of participants, pharmacy 22.40% and dental surgery 11.46%. Of these, 42.01% were bachelor’s students, 29.51% master’s students and 28.47% doctoral students. Vaccination coverage was 50.35%. Students who considered COViD-19 to be very dangerous were more likely to be vaccinated (OR = 5.05 [2.24-11.9]). Those with poor knowledge of vaccines were less likely to be vaccinated (OR = 0.07 [0.03-0.18]), as were those with poor knowledge of contraindications to vaccination (OR = 0.49 [0.28-0.86]). No association was found between vaccination status and socio-demographic or educational characteristics. Conclusion: in view of the importance of knowledge about COViD-19 vaccination, our results suggest that it is important to involve health students in the Ministry of Health’s awareness-raising strategies, because their support is necessary for better public awareness.
