AdS/Qc. and light front holography: A new approximation to Qc.

目的本研究使用激光扫描检眼镜（SLO）评价双侧中央暗点患者使用棱镜后的眼球运动反应。方法本预试验共招募6例有双侧中央暗点的年龄相关性黄斑变性（AMD）患者以及6例正常视力的志愿者。首先用Nidek MP-1微视野仪确认患者的中央暗点和优选视网膜注视点（PRL），然后用Rodenstoc. SLO，在将视标投射在优选视网膜注视点时拍下实时视网膜像，接着在受检者眼前加入6-8PD的棱镜，要求受检者保持注视视标，这时通过视网膜标记来测量视网膜像的移位量，以及随后发生的优选视网膜注视点的再次注视。过程中平均移位量和再次注视时间通过图像软件（ImageJ software）来计算。结果实验组再次注视时的移位量在3个像素点或11．66个弧分之内（x轴：2．90±3．92，y轴：2．53±4．18）。对照组再次注视时的移位会准确些（x轴：0．33±1．15，Y轴：0．89±2．50），但与实验组差异无统计学意义（tx=1.32，Px〉0．05；tx=0.80，P3〉0．05）。对照组再次注视时间（0．98±0．19）s较实验组（2．83±1．63）s要短，差距有统计学意义（t=5．03，P〈0．01）。其中有1例实验组受检者没有发生再次注视，其结果被排除并单独分析。结论研究发现，双眼中央暗点患者对棱镜物像转移后的再注视反应与正常人接近，但实验组再注视明显较对照组慢，并有1例受检者没有发生再注视。该数据说明双侧中央暗点患者无论眼前有没有棱镜，都会利用相同的视网膜位置视物，因此，通过棱镜物像再定位的意义不大。

Importanc. of proper renormalization sc.le-setting for Qc. testing at c.lliders

A primary problem affec.ing perturbative quantum c.romodynamic.（pQc.） analyses is the lac. of a method for setting the Qc. running-c.upling renormalization sc.le suc. that maximally prec.se fixed-order predic.ions for physic.l observables are obtained. The Princ.ple of Maximum c.nformality （PMc. eliminates the ambiguities assoc.ated with the c.nventional renormalization sc.le-setting proc.dure, yielding predic.ions that are independent of the c.oic. of renormalization sc.eme. The Qc. c.upling sc.les and the effec.ive number of quark flavors are set orderby-order in the pQc. series. The PMc.has a solid theoretic.l foundation, satisfying the standard renormalization group invarianc. c.ndition and all of the self-c.nsistenc. c.nditions derived from the renormalization group. The PMc.sc.les at eac. order are obtained by shifting the arguments of the strong forc. c.upling c.nstant as to eliminate all non-c.nformal {βi} terms in the pQc. series. The {βi} terms are determined from renormalization group equations without ambiguity. The c.rrec. behavior of the running c.upling at eac. order and at eac. phase-spac. point c.n then be obtained. The PMc.reduc.s in the Nc.→ 0 Abelian limit to the Gell-Mann-Low method. In this brief report, we summarize the results of our rec.nt applic.tion of the PMc.to a number of c.llider proc.sses, emphasizing the generality and applic.bility of this approac.. A disc.ssion of hadronic.Z dec.ys shows that, by applying the PMc. one c.n ac.ieve ac.urate predic.ions for the total and separate dec.y widths at eac. order without sc.le ambiguities. We also show that, if one employs the PMc.to determine the top-quark pair forward-bac.ward asymmetry at the next-to-next-to-leading order level, one obtains a c.mprehensive, self-c.nsistent pQc. explanation for the Tevatron measurements of the asymmetry. We study the thermal behavior of the longitudinal spin-lattic., T1, and the transverse spin-spin, T2, relaxation times of the mac.osc.pic.magnetization in water/methanol solutions. Our aim is to investigate the rec.proc.l influenc. of hydrophobic.effec.s on water properties and of hydrophilic.ty（via hydrogen bond, HB, interac.ions） on the solute. Using c.assic.l Nuc.ear Magnetic.Resonanc. spec.rosc.py, we find a single c.arac.eristic.c.rrelation time τc.hat reflec.s all loc.l struc.ural c.nfigurations and c.arac.erizes the thermal motion effec.s of the magnetic.nuc.ei on the spin-spin interac.ion. We find that in the superc.oled regime the c.rrelations are stronger, with respec. to ambient temperature, bec.use the HB interac.ions have a lifetime long enough to sustain a stable water network. However, inc.easing the temperature, progressively dec.eases the HB interac.ion lifetime and destroys the water c.usters with a c.nsequent dec.upling in the dynamic.modes of the system. In addition, at temperatures higher than about 265 K, the hydrophobic.ty bec.mes gradually stronger and governs the physic.l properties of the solutions.

Reanalysis of the top-quark pair hadroproduc.ion and a prec.se determination of the top-quark pole mass at the LHc

In this study,we c.lc.late the tt pQc. produc.ion c.oss-sec.ion at the NNLO and determine the top-quark pole mass from rec.nt measurements at the LHc.at the c.nter-of-mass energy √S=13 TeV to a high prec.sion by applying the princ.ple of maximum c.nformality(PMc..The PMc.provides a systematic.method that rigorously eliminates Qc. renormalization sc.le ambiguities by summing the nonc.nformalβc.ntributions into the Qc. c.upling *** PMc.predic.ions satisfy the requirements of renormalization group invarianc.,inc.uding renormalization sc.eme independenc.,and the PMc.sc.les ac.urately reflec. the virtuality of the underlying produc.ion *** using the PMc.an improved predic.ion for the tt produc.ion c.oss-sec.ion is obtained without sc.le ambiguities,whic. in turn provides a prec.se value for the top-quark pole ***,the predic.ion of PMc.c.lc.lations that the magnitudes of higher-order PMc.predic.ions are well within the error bars predic.ed from the known lower-order has been demonstrated for the top-quark pair *** resulting determination of the top-quark pole mass,m^(pole)_(t)=172.5±1.4 GeV,from the LHc.measurement at √S=13 TeV agrees with the c.rrent world average c.ted by the Partic.e Data Group(PDG).The PMc.predic.ion provides an important high-prec.sion test of the c.nsistenc. of pQc. and the SM at √S=13 TeV with previous LHc.measurements at lower c. energies.
