The phenomenal progress of quantum information theory over the last decade has substantially broadened the potential to simulate the superposition of states for exponential speedup of quantum algorithms over their classical ***,the conventional and modern cryptographic standards(encryption and authentication)are susceptible to Shor’s and Grover’s algorithms on quantum *** significant improvement in technology permits consummate levels of data protection by encoding classical data into small quantum states that can only be utilized once by leveraging the capabilities of quantum-assisted classical *** the frequent data breaches and increasingly stringent privacy legislation,we introduce a hybrid quantum-classical model to transform classical data into unclonable states,and we experimentally demonstrate perfect state transfer to exemplify the classical *** alleviate implementation complexity,we propose an arbitrary quantum signature scheme that does not require the establishment of entangled states to authenticate users in order to transmit and receive arbitrated states to retrieve classical *** consequences of the probabilistic model indicate that the quantum-assisted classical framework substantially enhances the performance and security of digital data,and paves the way toward real-world applications.

Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANeTs) have attracted growing interest in both academia and industry because they can provide a viable solutionthat improves road safety and comfort for travelers on roads. However, wireless communications over open-access environments face many security andprivacy issues that may affect deployment of large-scale VANeTs. Researchershave proposed different protocols to address security and privacy issues in aVANeT, and in this study we cryptanalyze some of the privacy preservingprotocols to show that all existing protocols are vulnerable to the Sybilattack. The Sybil attack can be used by malicious actors to create fakeidentities that impair existing protocols, which allows them to imitate trafficcongestion or at worse cause an accident that may result in the loss of humanlife. This vulnerability exists because those protocols store vehicle identitiesin an encrypted form, and it is not possible to search over the encryptedidentities to find fake vehicles. This attack is serious in nature and veryprevalent for privacy-preserving protocols. To cope with this kind of attack,we propose a novel and practical protocol that uses Public key encryptionwith an equality test (PKeeT) to search over the encrypted identities withoutleaking any information, and eventually eliminate the Sybil attack. Theproposed approach improves security and at the same time maintains privacyin VANeT. Our performance analysis indicates that the proposed protocoloutperforms state-of-the-art protocols: The proposed beacon generation timeis constant compared to a linear increase in existing protocols, with beaconverification shown to be faster by 7.908%. Our communicational analysisshows that the proposed protocol with a beacon size of 322 bytes has the leastcommunicational overhead compared to other state-of-the-art protocols.

Real-time detection of Covid-19 has definitely been the most widely-used world-wide classification problem since the start of the pandemic from 2020 until *** the meantime,airspace opacities spreads related to lung have been of the most challenging problems in this area.A common approach to do on that score has been using chest X-ray images to better diagnose positive Covid-19 *** to most other classification problems,machine learning-based approaches have been the first/most-used candidates in this *** schemes based on machine/deep learning have been proposed in recent years though increasing the performance and accuracy of the system has still remained an open *** this paper,we develop a novel deep learning architecture to better classify the Covid-19 X-ray *** do so,we first propose a novel multi-habitat migration artificial bee colony(MHMABC)algorithm to improve the exploitation/exploration of artificial bee colony(ABC)*** that,we optimally train the fully connected by using the proposed MHMABC algorithm to obtain better accuracy and convergence rate while reducing the execution *** experiment results on Covid-19 X-ray image dataset show that the proposed deep architecture has a great performance in different important optimization ***,it will be shown that the MHMABC algorithm outperforms the state-of-the-art algorithms by evaluating its performance using some wellknown benchmark datasets.

Wireless application protocol （WAP） have become the available method for subscribers to access mobile Internet through mobile terminal, regardless of the location and time. In this article, a logical architecture of WAP service system based on mobile information service centre （MISC） [1, 2] platform is discussed. The whole system is designed and developed on Java 2 enterprise edition [3] （J2ee） architecture and deployed on BeA WebLogic Server [3, 4]. Furthermore, a series of various WAP services based on this system have been implemented, which validates the practice value of this system. This optimal scheme presented in this article will reduce the development complexity, deployment risk, and so on.

Priority sites and conservation gaps of wintering waterbirds in the Yangtze River floodplain

The Yangtze River floodplain is critical for migratory waterbirds along the east Asian-Australasian Flyway (eAAF). Greater awareness of its global importance is urgently needed to ensure waterbird populations remain in favourable conservation status, as well as the enhancement of wider wetland biodiversity within this region. The designation of protected wetland areas and building a green ecological corridor in the Yangtze floodplain is now becoming a critical issue of interest to the Chinese government. Priority sites in this area were identified based on the criteria used to identify sites that qualify as Wetlands of International Importance (Ramsar Sites) and Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas (IBAs) by using multi-source data. The results show that 140 of the sites surveyed are priority sites. The Importance Index (/) for the whole floodplain decreased slightly from 2001–2005 and an unbalanced distribution pattern is evident with Jiangxi and Hunan provinces significantly higher than the other provinces in the floodplain. Although more than 60% of the priority sites are currently located outside protected areas, the average Conservation effectiveness Index (C) of the whole floodplain is 75.6%, which suggests the coverage of protected areas for most wintering waterbird population is reasonable. Conservation of the Yangtze River floodplain needs to be further strengthened due to declining waterbird abundances and the mismatch between the distribution of protected areas and their importance for wintering waterbirds. A comprehensive system for priority site identification and protection and scientific review is needed. Multi-sourced data from regular, systematic and coordinated monitoring of waterbird distribution and abundance across the eAAF, as well as national scale citizen science programmes are also critically important.

Background The indication and extent of cardiac screening before oral propranolol therapy (OPT) in patients with infantile hemangioma (IH) has been challenged. In this study, we evaluated pre-OPT cardiac diagnostics in a pediatric IH cohort in our department. Methods Retrospective chart review of infants ≤ 12 months old with IH undergoing OPT. The diagnostics prior to OPT, occurrence of complications, and outcome were recorded. Results A total of 234 patients were evaluated. The mean age at the onset of OPT was 4.2 ± 0.3 months, the average dura-tion of OPT was 6.1 ± 0.1 months, and the average follow-up was 12.3 ± 0.7 months. echocardiograms and electrocardio-grams were performed prior to OPT in all patients. One hundred and three (44.0%) echocardiograms revealed pathological findings, 19 (8.1%) of which were minor (including atrial septal defects, pulmonary stenosis, and patent ductus arteriosus). Pathological findings were observed in 17 (7.3%) of electrocardiograms, only one (0.4%) of which was minor (suspected cardiac arrhythmia, subsequently excluded by long-term electrocardiogram analysis). These findings did not contraindicate OPT and no severe adverse events associated with OPT occurred during the follow-up period. Conclusions Routine cardiac screening by electrocardiogram and echocardiogram before OPT is debatable and not routinely indicated in children with IH. Further studies are necessary to draw definite conclusions on the reasonable indication and extent of this diagnostic approach.

Radiofrequency ablation versus microwave ablation for colorectal liver metastases:long-term results of a retrospective cohort surgical experience

Background:Ablation is an alternative treatment modality for selected patients with colorectal liver metastases(CRLMs).Although initially widely performed via radiofrequency ablation(RFA),more recently,microwave ablation(MWA)is being preferred due to its perceived superiority in creating the ablation *** aim of this study is to compare the long-term efficacy of these two modalities performed ***:Patients undergoing surgical liver ablation from 2005-2023 at a tertiary center by a single surgeon for CRLM were included in a retrospective institutional review board-approved *** were compared using Wilcoxon,Chi-square,Kaplan-Meier,and Cox multivariate regression *** data are presented as median(interquartile range).Results:There were a total of 242 *** RFA was done in 121 patients with 303 lesions and laparoscopic MWA in 121 patients with 300 *** was no difference between the groups regarding operative time(161 vs.147 minutes,respectively,P=0.4),perioperative morbidity(3%vs.8%,respectively,P=0.2)or hospital stay(1 vs.1 day,P=0.05).Local recurrence(LR)per lesion with at least 1 year of imaging follow-up was 29%in the RFA and 13%in the MWA group(Ped on univariate survival analysis,tumor size,blood vessel proximity,ablation margin,and ablation modality were independent predictors of *** control these variables,direct matching was *** cohort included 189 ***-Meier analysis of these cohorts showed increased LR-free survival in the MWA group *** RFA group(P=0.005).Conclusions:This large study confirms our initial observation that local tumor control rate is better after MWA ***.

Machine Learning(ML)systems often involve a re-training process to make better predictions and *** re-training process creates a loophole and poses a security threat for ML *** leverage this loophole and design data poisoning attacks against ML *** poisoning attacks are a type of attack in which an adversary manipulates the training dataset to degrade the ML system’s *** poisoning attacks are challenging to detect,and even more difficult to respond to,particularly in the Internet of Things(IoT)*** address this problem,we proposed DIstINIT,the first proactive data poisoning attack detection framework using *** found that Jaccard Distance(JD)can be used in the DIstINIT(among other distance measures)and we finally improved the JD to attain an Optimized JD(OJD)with lower time and space *** security analysis shows that the DIstINIT is secure against data poisoning attacks by considering key features of adversarial *** conclude that the proposed OJD-based DIstINIT is effective and efficient against data poisoning attacks where in-time detection is critical for IoT applications with large volumes of streaming data.
