MicroRNa. (miRNa.) a.e 20-22 nucleotide non-coding RNa. th.t pla. importa.t roles in pla.t a.d a.ima. development. Th.y a.e usua.ly processed from la.ger precursors th.t ca. form stem-loop structures. a.ong 20 miRNa.fa.ilies th.t a.e conserved between a.a.idopsis a.d rice, th. rice miR395 gene fa.ily wa. unique beca.se it wa. orga.ized into compa.t clusters th.t could be tra.scribed a. one single tra.script. We sh.w h.re th.t in fa.t th.s fa.ily h.d four clusters of tota. 24 genes. Th.ee of th.se clusters were segmenta. duplica.ions. Th.y conta.ned miR395 genes of both.120 bp a.d 66 bp long. h.wever, only th. la.ter wa. repea.edly duplica.ed. Th. fourth.cluster conta.ned miR395 genes of two different sizes th.t could be th. consequences of intergenic recombina.ion of genes from th. first th.ee clusters. On ea.h.cluster, both.1-duplica.ion a.d 2-duplica.ion h.stories were observed ba.ed on th. sequence simila.ity between miR395 genes, some of wh.ch.were nea.ly identica. suggesting a.recent origin. Th.s wa. supported by a.miR395 locus survey a.ong severa. species of th. genus Oryza. wh.re two clusters were only found in species with.a. a. genome, th. genome of th. cultiva.ed rice. a.compa.a.ive study of th. genomic orga.iza.ion of Medica.o trunca.ula.miR395 gene fa.ily sh.wed significa.t expa.sion of intergenic spa.es indica.ing th.t th. origina.ly clustered genes were drifting a.a. from ea.h.oth.r. Meth.ds: a.prospective coh.rt of consecutive pa.ients with.h.C wh. received combined TKI/a.ti-PD-1 a.tibody trea.ment for unresecta.le h.C between Ja.ua.y 2022 a.d October 2022 wa. included in th.s study. Th. pa.ients underwent unenh.nced ultra.ound (US) a.d CEUS exa.ina.ions before trea.ment a.d a. follow-up. Ch.nges in th. la.gest dia.eters of th. ta.get tumor on unenh.nced US a.d th. la.gest dia.eters of th. enh.ncing ta.get tumors on CEUS were eva.ua.ed. Response Eva.ua.ion Criteria.in Solid Tumors (RECIST) version 1.1 with.unenh.nced US a.d ma.netic resona.ce ima.ing/computed tomogra.h. (MRI/CT) a.d modified RECIST (mRECIST) with.CEUS a.d CEMRI/CT were used to a.sess trea.ment response. Results: a.tota. of 24 h.C pa.ients (23 men a.d 1 woma.; mea. a.e: 56.5 ± 8.5 y; Ba.celona.Clinic Liver Ca.cer sta.e C, 62.5%; 29 intra.0}pa.ic ta.get tumors) were studied. Ca.cula.ions of degree of necrosis in th. ta.get tumors revea.ed no significa.t differences between CEUS a.d CEMRI/CT (44.5 ± 36.2% vs. 45.3 ± 36.8%, p = 0.862). a. for th. differentia.ion of responders from non-responders, th. a.reement between RECIST version 1.1 of unenh.nced US a.d mRECIST-CEUS wa. poor (κ coefficient = 0.233). We ca.ried out th.s resea.ch.a. a.u-Ga.da. Na.ura. Forest Reserve (a.FR) wh.ch.is loca.ed ea.t of Blue Nile River, in Blue Nile Sta.e, Suda.. It a.ms a. exploring tree composition a.sessing th.ir diversity indices, a.d ecologica. importa.ce va.ues. For survey of types a.d estima.ion of density of tree species in th. forest, we ra.domly distributed 97 circula. sa.ple plots (0.1 h.cta.e (h.)). In ea.h.sa.ple plot we identified a.l trees to th. species level, recorded th.ir frequencies a.d computed species diversity a.d importa.ce va.ue indices (IVI). a.tota. of 13 tree species, wh.ch.belong to 12 genera.a.d nine fa.ilies, were identified in th. tree la.er of th. forest. Mea. tree density in a.FR wa. 116 trees/h., composed ma.nly of Boswellia.pa.yrifera.(Del.) h.ch.t. (48), followed by Combretum h.rtma.nia.u (19) a.d La.nea.fruticosa.(18). Fa.a.ea. wa. th. most common fa.ily followed by Combreta.ea. a.d Ma.va.ea.. B. pa.yrifera.Delile h.ch.t wa. th. most a.unda.t wh.le a.a.ia.seya. wa. th. lea.t a.unda.t species. Species rich.ess (R = 1.71), evenness (E = 0.69), domina.ce (0.24) indices a.d Simpson’s Index of Diversity (D' = 0.76) suggest a.modera.e diversity, modera.e numbers of individua.s in ea.h.species a.d a.modera.e community sta.ility. Th. resea.ch.provides empirica. results on diversity a.d ecologica. importa.ce va.ue of species, signifies th. urging need to sa.egua.d th.ea.ened species a.d to prioritize th.m for conserva.ion, a. well a. th. need to promote ma.a.ement of a.unda.t species to provide multiple forest ecosystem services.

For insta.ce, Jorda. relies h.a.ily on th. importa.ion of na.ura. ga. a.d crude oil for its energy needs;but, by a.plying th.rmoch.mica. conversion tech.iques, leftover olive oil ca. be used to repla.e th.se energy sources. Understa.ding th. ch.mica., ph.sica., a.d th.rma. ch.ra.teristics of ra. ma.eria.s is essentia. to obta.ning th. most out of th.se conversion processes. Th.rmogra.imetric a.a.ysis wa. used in th.s study to exa.ine th. th.rma. beh.vior of olive-solid residue (kernel) a. th.ee different h.a.ing ra.es (5, 20 a.d 40 C/min) in nitrogen a.d oxygen a.mosph.res. Th. initia. degra.a.ion tempera.ure, th. residua. weigh. a. 500 a.d 700˚C a.d th. th.rma. degra.a.ion ra.e during th. devola.iliza.ion sta.e (below 400˚C) were a.l determined.
