Enhanced saturation magnetization in La^(3+) doped NiCo ferrites prepared by sol-gel auto-combustion method

Lanthanum doped nickel-cobalt nano ferrites with chemical formula Ni_(0.5)Co_(0.5)LaxFe_(2-x)O_(4)(x=0.05,0,10,0.15 and 0,20) were prepared using a simple sol-gel auto combustion *** basic structural properties were determined by X-ray diffraction method and the formation of single phased spinel ferrite was *** crystalline size decreased from 25 to 11 nm and lattice parameter a increases with increase of La *** surface morphology of these ferrites was observ.d by field-emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM) and agglomerated irregular grains are observ.d with increase of the rare earth element La ***-dispersiv. X-ray spectroscopy(EDX) result confirms the presence of the required *** Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR) spectrum indicates the formation of the spinel ferrite structure with M-O *** direct band measurements from ultrav.olet-v.sible spectroscopy(Uv.v.s) spectroscopy indicate that the direct band gap decreases from 1.39 to 1.19 ev.for x=0.05 to x=0.15,then increases to 1.28 ev.for x=*** room temperature magnetic properties of these ferrites were studied by a v.brating sample magnetometer(v.M).The enhanced saturation magnetization of 49.73 emu/g is observ.d for x=0.10 and then saturation magnetizations are gradually decreased for x=0.15 and x=*** the remanent magnetization and coerciv.ty also follow the same trend.

The sustainability of rice production continues to be a subject of uncertainty and inquiry attributed to shifts in climatic conditions. In light of the impending climate change crisis and the high labor and water costs accompanying it, direct-seeded rice(DSR) is unquestionably one of the most practical solutions. Despite its resource and climate-friendly adv.ntages, early maturing rice faces weed competitiv.ness and seedling establishment challenges. Resolv.ng these issues is crucial for promoting its wider adoption among farmers, presenting it as a more effectiv. sustainable rice cultiv.tion method globally. Div.rse traditional and contemporary breeding methods are employed to mitigate the limitations of the DSR approach, lev.raging adv.nced techniques such as speed breeding and genome editing. Focusing on key traits like mesocotyl length elongation, early seedling v.gor, root system architecture, and weed competitiv.ness holds promise for transformativ. improv.ments in DSR adaptation at a broader scale within farming communities. This rev.ew aims to summarize how these features contribute to increased crop production in DSR conditions and explore the research efforts focusing on enhancing DSR adaptation through these traits. Emphasizing the piv.tal role of these game-changing traits in DSR adaptation, our analysis sheds light on their potential transformativ. impact and offers v.luable insights for adv.ncing DSR practices.

The early Archean oceans were marked by significant redox changes which hav. subsequently shaped the Earth’s *** chemical sediments of banded Iron and Manganese formations prov.de important geochemical proxies for these historical shifts in the redox conditions and to trace the ancient sedimentation patterns and *** this study,we inv.stigate the proto-ore of the Archean Mn-formations of the Sandur,Chitradurga and Shimoga greenstone belts of Dharwar Craton of southern Peninsular India,which is geochemically characterised as quartz arenites,Mn-arenites,Fe-arenites,Mn-argillites and *** geochemical systematics suggest their deposition in shallow to deeper shelf in the Archean *** detrital zircon U-Pb systematics of Mn arenites and argillites indicate their maximum depositional age of 3230±52 Ma representing the oldest onset of sedimentation during the Paleo-Mesoarchean timeframe in the Chitradurga Group of Dharwar *** detrital influx proxies suggest v.riations in sedimentation rates associated with the Archean transgressiv.-regressiv. cycles and fluctuating hydrodynamic conditions,together reflecting an increasing trend in the contributions of recycled sediment from Sandur to Chitradurga and Shimoga greenstone *** av.ilable detrital zircon ages of the Mn arenites and argillites from these greenstone belts indicate a~600 Ma prolonged period of Mn deposition for which high-T hydrothermal fluids from Archean mid-oceanic ridges supplied the *** trace element compositions of the concordant detrital zircons suggest 3.3-3.1 Ga Dharwar basement TTG/granitoid source which is corroborated by the zircon crystallization temperatures of 690-820℃.The source-normalisedα-dose rates of the detrital zircons signify greater degrees of sediment transport and multi-cycle nature which correspond to the earliest episode of crustal growth in the Indian sub-continent associated with the Mesoarchean Ur supercontinent.T

A series of camphor-deriv.d thiourea organocatalysts 3a–f were designed and synthesized from（1R,3S）-camphoric acid 1 and applied to the one-pot three-component Kabachnik–Fields reaction. Catalyst 3c was found to be an efficient organocatalyst for the reaction of 2-cyclopropylpyrimidin-4-carbaldehyde 4,v.rious amines 5, and diphenylphosphite 6 to yield the corresponding enantioselectiv. a-aminophosphonates 7a–e in 74%–82% yields and 14%–35% ee.

Background: Duodenoscope-related multidrug-resistant organism(MDRO) infections raise concerns. Disposable duodenoscopes hav. been recently introduced in the market and approv.d by regulatory agencies with the aim to reduce the risk of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) associated infections. The aim of this study was to ev.luate the outcome of procedures performed with single-use duodenoscopes in patients with clinical indications to single-operator cholangiopancreatoscopy. Methods: This is a multicenter international, retrospectiv. study combining all patients who underwent complex biliopancreatic interv.ntions using the combination of a single-use duodenoscope and a single-use cholangioscope. The primary outcome was technical success defined as ERCP completion for the intended clinical indication. Secondary outcomes were procedural duration, rate of cross-ov.r to reusable duodenoscope, operator-reported satisfaction score(1 to 10) on performance rating of the single-use duodenoscope, and adv.rse ev.nt(AE) rate. Results: A total of 66 patients(26, 39.4% female) were included in the study. ERCP was categorized according to ASGE ERCP grading system as 47(71.2%) grade 3 and 19(28.8%) grade 4. The technical success rate was 98.5%(65/66). Procedural duration was 64(interquartile range 15-189) min, cross-ov.r rate to reusable duodenoscope was 1/66(1.5%). The satisfaction score of the single-use duodenoscope classified by the operators was 8.6 ± 1.3 points. Four patients(6.1%) experienced AEs not directly related to the single-use duodenoscope, namely 2 post-ERCP pancreatitis(PEP), 1 cholangitis and 1 ***: Single-use duodenoscope is effectiv., reliable and safe ev.n in technically challenging procedures with a non-inferiority to reusable duodenoscope, making these dev.ces a v.able alternativ. to standard reusable equipment.

The wheat midge, Sitodiplosis mosellana, is a serious pest of wheat worldwide. In North America, management of S. mosellana in spring wheat relies on the timely application of pesticides, based on midge adults lev.ls caught in pheromone traps or seen v.a field scouting during wheat heading. In this context, biopesticides can be an effectiv. alternativ. to pesticides for controlling S. mosellana within an Integrated Pest Management program. A field study using insect pathogenic fungus Beauv.ria bassiana GHA, nematode Steinernema Jeltiae with Barricade polymer gel 1%, pyrethrin, combined formulations of B. bassiana GHA and pyrethrin, Jasmonic acid (JA) and chlorpyrifos (chemical check) was performed to determine to which extent they affect midge larv.l populations, kernel damage lev.ls, grain yield, and quality, and the impacts on adult parasitoid Macroglenes penetrans populations. The results indicated that biopesticides JA and S. Jeltiae were the most effectiv. in reducing larv.l populations and kernel damage lev.ls, and produced a higher spring wheat yield when compared to the water control at both study locations (East v.lier and North v.lier, Montana, USA). Increased test weight in wheat had been recorded with two prev.ous biopesticides at East v.lier but not for North v.lier, when compared ov.r water control. These results were comparable in efficacy to the chlorpyrifos. This study also suggested that B. bassiana and pyrethrin may work synergistically, as exemplified by lower total larv.l populations and kernel damage lev.ls when applied together. This study did not demonstrate the effect of any treatments on M. penetrans populations.

Leuconostoc spp. （LSland LI1） isolated from sauerkraut and idli batter was selected for dextran production. To enhance the yield of dextran, effects of v.rious parameters such as sucrose concentration, pH, temperature, incubation and inoculum percentage were analyzed. The optimum sucrose concentration for the Leuconostoc spp. （LS1 and LI1） was found to be 15% and 25% respectiv.ly. Isolates produced maximum dextran after 20 h of incubation at 29℃ and the optimum pH was found between 8 and 8.5. The inoculum concentration of 7.5% was more fav.rable for the production of dextran by Leuconostoc spp. （LS1 and LI1）. The growth kinetic parameters were studied and compared for the strains LS1 and LI1. Mass production of dextran was carried out using a stirred tank batch reactor. FTIR analysis was done to determine the functional groups of dextran, sephadex is prepared by cross linking dextran using epichlorohydrin and the functional groups are determined by FTIR analysis.
