The intermittent nature of renewable energy sources sets a requirement for efficient energy storage to mitigate the conflict between energy supply and *** is a promising choice for energy storage due to its high energy ***,the conversion of electrical energy to chemical energy stored in hydrogen through water electrolysis suffers from low efficiency,and the electricity cost dominates the total cost of hydrogen ***,we report the study of improving the hydrogen evolution reaction activity of Pt-based catalysts by building a nanoscale surface NiO and Pt interface,further optimizing the performance via tuning the lattice parameter of the core of nanoparticles,which can be achieved by varying the dealloying annealing *** optimized PtCuNi-O/C and PtNi-O/C catalysts are demonstrated to be one of the best catalysts,with a mass activity(MA)of 9.1 and 8.7 mA/μgPt,which is 9.9-fold and 9.5-fold of that of Pt/C,respectively.

Simulation and Experimental Design of Load Adaptive Braking System on Two Wheeler

The braking quality is considered the main execution of the adaptive control framework that impacts the vehicle safety and rides solace astoundingly notably the stopping *** research work aims to create a pattern and design of an electromechanically adjusted lever that multiplies the applied braking force depending on the inputs given by the sensors to reduce the stopping distance of the *** is carried out using two main parts of the two-wheeler vehicle:thefirst part deals with the detection of load acting on the vehicle and identifying the required braking force to be applied,and the second part deals with the micro-controller which activates the stepper motor for varying the mechanical leverage ratio from various loads on the vehicle using two actively movable *** electromechanically operated variable braking force system is developed to actuate the braking system based on the load on the *** MATLAB simulation and experimental work are carried out for various loading(driver and pillion)conditions on a *** results indicate that the proposed electronically operated braking system is more effective than the conventional braking system for various loads and vehicle ***,the stopping distance of the vehicle is decreased significantly by about 4.9%between the con-ventional braking system and the simulated proposed ***,the experi-mental results show that the stopping distance is condensed by about 4.1%.The validation between simulated and experimental results revealed a great deal with the least error percentage of about 0.8%.

In this study,we develop a set of ordinary differential equations that represents the dynamics of an ecosystem with two predators and one prey,but only the first predator population is affected by an infectious *** Lotka-Volterra predator-prey system’s model stability have been examined using the Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)impulsive control model and the Fuzzy impulsive control *** the formulation of the model,the global stabilities and the Fuzzy solution are carried out through numerical simulations and graphical representations with appropriate discussion for better understanding the dynamics of our proposed model.

深水浊积岩通常发育在风暴浪基面以下、几十米至数千米的水体深度范围内.当沉积中心位于或接近陆架边缘时,浊流沉积系统往往最为活跃,而且通常与相对海平面下降时期的低位体系域有关.深水沉积事件可细分为低位域早期和低位域晚期.低位域早期以规模不断增大和更频繁的流体(浊流)事件为特征;而低位域晚期则以规模逐渐变小且频率降低的流体(浊流)事件为特征.因此,在低位域早期,流体流量不断增大,水道以侵蚀并逐渐变深为主,仅能残存较少的沉积物.随后,在低位域晚期,流体流量逐渐变小,因而水道内的沉积填充物可以得以保存.浊流体系通常发育3个特征迥异的区域:区域1对应浊流体系的近端(上游),以支流峡谷为特征;区域2为浊流体系的中间部分,以单一补给水道复合体系为特征,因浊流水体的高度比补给水道高,因而常常发育天然堤沉积;区域3为浊流体系的远端,以频繁的决口、砂质溢岸以及水道充填为特征,从地貌学上可以将其描述为末端扇,从沉积过程来看,可将其称为前缘分散体系.从层序地层学的角度来看,低位域沉积常常夹持于富泥的远端高位域和海侵体系域沉积之间.低位域早期—晚期沉积序列往往是以富砂的区域3末端扇沉积被区域2水道—天然堤沉积所覆盖为特征.

Imaging Review of Adolescent Tibial Tuberosity Fractures

Adolescent tibial tuberosity injuries are infrequent fractures usually seen in physically active adolescent males. Powerful contraction of the knee extensors by sudden acceleration or deceleration of the quadriceps muscle can result in avulsion fractures of the tibial tuberosity apophysis. In late puberty, as the growth plate closes, it is transiently replaced by fibrocartilaginous elements. This transition causes a period of weakened tensile strength, which predisposes the tibial tuberosity to traction injury. Classification of tibial tuberosity fractures includes types I-V with added A and B subsets to types I, II and III. Multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) is a useful tool to more accurately classify complex, higher grade adolescent tibial tuberosity avulsion fractures when compared to plain film. This aids in preoperative planning and, therefore, results in improved treatment and management.
