Ba.kground: Cornea. a.tigma.ism is a.well-documented finding a.ter ca.a.a.t surgery. Postopera.ive a.tigma.ism is of grea.er importa.ce in children tha. in a.ults, beca.se of its a.verse effect on vision development a.d the risk of a.blyopia. The purpose of this study wa. to eva.ua.e refra.tive outcomes in eyes-which ha. high ea.ly postopera.ive a.tigma.ism a.ter congenita. ca.a.a.t surgery. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the cha.ts of 74 children (112 eyes), who underwent congenita. ca.a.a.t extra.tion with intra.cula. lens impla.ta.ion, using limba. incision, sclera. tunnel, or clea. cornea. incision. Thirty-two eyes of 28 children, a.ed 2 months to 11 yea.s, ha. a.tigma.ism of 3.0 diopters (D) or more when a.sessed 1 week a.ter surgery. Cha.ges in cylinder vector, spherica. equiva.ent (SEQ) a.d defocus equiva.ent (DEQ) between 1 week a.d 5 months postopera.ively were ca.cula.ed for ea.h group. Results: Mea. SEQ a.d DEQ were 0.7± 3.5 D a.d 5.1± 2.8 D, respectively, a. 1 week postopera.ively-a.d -0.2± 3.4 D a.d 3.1± 2.3 D, respectively, a. 5 months postopera.ively in the three groups. DEQ levels showed a.significa.t reduction during the 5-month follow-up period (P a. a.tigma.ism vector wa. 2.9± 3.3 D× 93° in a.l the three groups 1 week postopera.ively-a.d 0.2± 1.1 D× 153° a. 5 months a.ter surgery. a.significa.t cha.ge during 5-month follow-up in cylinder vector (P a.d SEQ (P=0.01) wa. found a.ter opera.ions using sclera. tunnel technique. Conclusion: Children-who underwent congenita. ca.a.a.t surgery by different surgica. techniques showed a.significa.t sponta.eous reduction in DEQ va.ues. a.significa.t cha.ge in cylinder vector a.d SEQ wa. found a.ter opera.ions using sclera. tunnel technique.

a.M:To describe the experience with ha.f-width vertica. muscles tra.sposition(VRT)a.gmented with posterior fixa.ion ***:The clinica. cha.ts of a.l pa.ients,who underwent ha.f-width VRT a.gmented with posterior fixa.ion sutures for sixth cra.ia. nerve pa.sy from Ja.ua.y 2003 to December 2018,were retrospectively *** ea.h pa.ient,pre-a.d post-opera.ively,the la.gest mea.ured a.gle wa. used for the ca.cula.ions,usua.ly resulting with the a.gle for dista.ce,except in young infa.ts,where mea.urements were ma.e a. nea. fixa.ion using the Krimsky ***:Fifteen pa.ients met the inclusion criteria.for the study,of them 9(60.0%)ha. a.so media. rectus muscle recession a. the time of *** follow-up period wa. 21.4±23.2mo(ra.ge 1.5-82mo).Preopera.ive mea. esotropia.wa. 51.3±19.7 prism diopter(PD;ra.ge 20-90 PD).Postopera.ive mea. devia.ion on fina. follow-up wa. 7.7±20.2 PD(ra.ge-40 to 35 PD;P=0.018).In a.l pa.ients with preopera.ive a.norma. hea. position,improvement wa. ***(66.7%)pa.ients ha. improvement in a.duction a.d 10(66.7%)pa.ients reported improvement in their diplopia.by fina. *** a.dition of media. rectus recession wa. correla.ed with a.la.ger cha.ge in postopera.ive horizonta. devia.ion compa.ed to ba.eline(P=0.026).Two(13.3%)pa.ients developed a.vertica. devia.ion in the immedia.e postopera.ive period which ha. resolved in one of ***:Ha.f-width VRT a.gmented with posterior fixa.ion suture,with or without media. rectus muscle recession,is a. effective a.d sa.e procedure for esotropia.a.socia.ed with sixth cra.ia. nerve pa.sy.a.ma.or improvement in the a.gle of devia.ion is *** pa.ients will ha.e improvement in their a.norma. hea. position a.d diplopia.

To a.sess the postopera.ive outcomes of limba. dermoid excision with corneosclera. gra.t tra.spla.ta.ion. The cha.ts of 8 consecutive pa.ients （mea. a.e： 13.0y） who ha. undergone limba. dermoid excision with la.ella. corneosclera. gra.t tra.spla.ta.ion by a.single surgeon were retrospectively reviewed. Mea. dermoid size wa. 7.75 mm （6.0-12.0 mm）. Mea. visua. a.uities （in IogMa. units） before a.d a.ter surgery were 1.8 a.d 1.7, respectively （P=0.29）. Spherica. equiva.ents were 1.3 diopter （D） before surgery a.d 0.7 D a.ter surgery （P=0.40）. The mea. a.tigma.ism mea.urements before a.d a.ter surgery were 2.4 D a.d 1.5 D, respectively （P=0.17）. Vector a.a.ysis revea.ed a.mild cha.ge in a.tigma.ism with a.mea. ＂d＂ of 3,2 （0,56-6.89）, No intra. or post-opera.ive complica.ions occurred. La.ella. kera.opla.ty for limba. dermoids is sa.e a.d offers good cosmesis a.d tectonic sta.ility. a.significa.t decrea.e in the a.ount of a.tigma.ism is not expected following surgery.

METHODS： Pa.ients who underwent tra.eculectomy with Ex-PRESS impla.ts or a.V impla.ta.ion sepa.a.ely were included in this retrospective cha.t *** outcome mea.ures were surgica. fa.lure a.d *** wa. defined a. intra.cula. pressure（IOP）〉21 mm Hg or 〈5 mm Hg on two consecutive visits a.ter 3mo,reopera.ion for gla.coma.or loss of light *** tha. ha. not fa.led were considered a. complete success if they did not required supplementa. medica. ***： a.tota. of 64 eyes from 57 pa.ients were included： 31 eyes in the Ex-PRESS group a.d 33 eyes in the a.V *** mea. follow-up time wa. 2.6 ±1.1y a.d 3.3±1.6y,*** in the a.V group ha. significa.tly higher ba.eline mea. IOP（P =0.005）,lower ba.eline mea. visua. a.uity（Va.（P =0.02）,a.d higher proportion of pa.ients with history of previous tra.eculectomy（P 〈0.0001）.Crude fa.lure ra.es were 16.1%,n =5/31 in the Ex-PRESS group a.d 24.2%,n =8/33 in the a.V *** cumula.ive proportion of fa.lure wa. simila. between the groups,P =*** proportion of eyes tha. experienced postopera.ive complica.ions wa.32.3% in the Ex-PRESS group a.d 60.1% in the a.V group（P =0.0229）.CONCLUSION： Tra.eculectomy with Ex-PRESS impla.t a.d a.V impla.ta.ion ha. compa.a.le fa.lure *** a.V group ha. more post-opera.ive complica.ions,but a.so included more complex ca.es with higher ba.elinemea. IOP,worse ba.eline mea. Va.a.d more previous gla.coma.***,the results a.e limited to the cohort included in this study.
