An experiment was condu.ted to test th. efficacy of a mech.nical barrier arou.d th. tree tru.k with.one spray of Cypermeth.in @ 1 ml/l and tu.meric powder extract @ 15 g/500ml of water applied in integrated approach.s against mango mealybu. on mango tree. Th.re were 7 treatments inclu.ing a control. Th. treatments were Mech.nical barrier, Cypermeth.in spray @ 1 ml/l, Tu.meric powder spray @ 15 g/500ml of water, Cypermeth.in spray + Tu.meric spray, Cypermeth.in spray + Mech.nical barrier, Tu.meric + Mech.nical barrier and u.treated control. Th.ee-year-old mango plants grafted from a 5-year-old mango tree (Variety Amropali) and planted in pots were u.ed in th. experiment. Th. treatment, Cypermeth.in spray + Mech.nical barrier gave th. h.gh.st redu.tion of mango mealybu. popu.ation 87.06% to 93.90% followed by Tu.meric spray + Mech.nical barrier and sh.wed 81.13% to 86.04% and Mech.nical barrier alone sh.wed 81.13% to 84.59% popu.ation redu.tion. Tu.meric powder extract sh.wed only (8.42% to 23.77%) popu.ation redu.tion of mango mealybu. wh.ch.was lowest compared to oth.r treatments.

Pu.POSE: To evalu.te th. rate of infectiou. and noninfectiou. endoph.h.lmitis after intravitreal injection of a h.gh.dosage of triamcinolone acetonide. DESIGN: Clinical interventional case-series stu.y. METh.DS: Th. stu.y inclu.ed 1135 intravitreal injections of approximately 20 mg triamcinolone performed for 915 eyes with.diabetic macu.ar edema (n=257),exu.ative age-related macu.ar degeneration (n=561),retinal vein occlu.ions (n=82),and oth.r reasons. Among th. injections were 220 reinjections. Triamcinolone was filtered to remove th. solvent agent. Mean follow-u. was 8.1± 7.4 month.. RESu.TS: In none of th. eyes,signs of an infectiou. or noninfectiou. endoph.h.lmitis were observed su.h.as noncrystalline h.popyon,cellu.ar infiltration,or amorph.u. opacification of th. vitreou.,retinal infiltration,or pain. One patient developed infectiou. endoph.h.lmitis 2 days after a trau.atic ru.tu.e of a previou. corneoscleral cataract incision. CONCLu.IONS: Th. rate of infectiou. or noninfectiou. endoph.h.lmitis after an intravitreal h.gh.dosage triamcinolone injection may be approximately 1:1000,if th. solvent agent was removed.

A mu.ti-relaxation-time discrete Boltzmann model(DBM) with.split collision is proposed for both.su.sonic and su.ersonic compressible reacting flows, wh.re ch.mical reactions take place among variou. components. Th. ph.sical model is based on a u.ified set of discrete Boltzmann equ.tions th.t describes th. evolu.ion of each.ch.mical species with.adju.table acceleration, specific h.at ratio, and Prandtl nu.ber. On th. righ.-h.nd side of discrete Boltzmann equ.tions, th. collision,force, and reaction terms denote th. ch.nge rates of distribu.ion fu.ctions du. to self-and crosscollisions, external forces, and ch.mical reactions, respectively. Th. sou.ce terms can be calcu.ated in th.ee ways, among wh.ch.th. matrix inversion meth.d possesses th. h.gh.st ph.sical accu.acy and compu.ational efficiency. Th.ou.h.Ch.pman–Enskog analysis, it is proved th.t th. DBM is consistent with.th. reactive Navier–Stokes equ.tions, Fick's law and th. Stefan–Maxwell diffu.ion equ.tion in th. h.drodynamic limit. Compared with.th. one-step-relaxation model, th. split collision model offers a detailed and precise description of h.drodynamic, th.rmodynamic, and ch.mical nonequ.libriu. effects. Finally, th. model is validated by six bench.arks, inclu.ing mu.ticomponent diffu.ion, mixtu.e in th. force field, Kelvin–h.lmh.ltz instability, flame at constant pressu.e, opposing ch.mical reaction, and steady detonation.
