Malicious traffic detection over the internet is one of the challenging areas for researchers to protect network infrastructures from any malicious *** shortcomings of a network system can be leveraged by an attacker to get unauthorized access through malicious *** from such attacks requires an efficient automatic system that can detect malicious traffic timely and avoid system ***,many automated systems can detect malicious activity,however,the efficacy and accuracy need further improvement to detect malicious traffic from multi-domain *** present study focuses on the detection of malicious traffic with high accuracy using machine learning *** proposed approach used two datasets UNSW-NB15 and IoTId20 which contain the data for IoT-based traffic and local network traffic,*** datasets were combined to increase the capability of the proposed approach in detecting malicious traffic from local and IoT networks,with high *** merging both datasets requires an equal number of features which was achieved by reducing feature count to 30 for each dataset by leveraging principal component analysis(PCA).The proposed model incorporates stacked ensemble model extra boosting forest(EBF)which is a combination of tree-based models such as extra tree classifier,gradient boosting classifier,and random forest using a stacked ensemble *** results show that EBF performed significantly better and achieved the highest accuracy score of 0.985 and 0.984 on the multi-domain dataset for two and four classes,respectively.

Pancreatic resection is the treatment of choice for pancreatic malignancy and certain benign pancreatic disorders. However, pancreatic resection is technically a demanding procedure and whereas mortality after a pancreaticoduodenectomy is currently rienced high-volume centers, post-operative morbidity is considerable, about 30%-50%. At present, the single most significant cause of morbidity and mortality after pancreatectomy is the development of pancreatic leakage and fistula (PF). The occurrence of a PF increases the length of hospital stay and the cost of treatment, requires additional investigations and procedures, and can result in life-threatening complications. There is no universally accepted definition of PF that would allow standardized reporting and proper comparison of outcomes between different centers. However, early recognition of a PF and prompt institution of appropriate treatment is critical to the prevention of potentially devastating consequences. The present article, reviews the evolution of post resection pancreatic fistula as a concept, and discusses evolving definitions, the current preventive strategies and the management of this problem.

A near-shore marine intertidal environment-associated Streptomyces isolate(USC-633)from the Sunshine Coast region of Queensland,Australia,cultivated under a range of chemically defined and complex media to determine optimal parameters resulting in the secretion of diverse array of secondary metabolites with antimicrobial properties against various antibiotic resistant *** extraction,fractioning and re-testing of active metabolites resulted in persistent antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli(Migula)(ATCC 13706)and subsequent Nuclear Magnetic resonance(NMr)analysis of the active fractions confirmed the induction of metabolites different than the ones in fractions which did not display activity against the same bacterial *** findings again confirmed the value of One StraineMany Compounds(OSMAC)approach that tests a wide range of growth parameters to trigger bioactive compound secretion increasing the likelihood of finding novel therapeutic *** isolate was found to be adaptable to both marine and terrestrial conditions corresponding to its original nearshore marine intertidal *** variations in its morphology,sporulation and diffusible pigment production were observed when different growth media were used.

Marigold(Tagetes erecta): The Potential Value in the Phytoremediation of Chromium

Environmental pollution with chromium （Cr） is harmful to humans, animals and plants, while in plants it causes diminished growth, anatomical alterations and death. In the present study, the potential value of marigold （Tagetes erecta） in the phytoremediation of Cr has been investigated. The randomized experimental design involved the exposure of plants to nutrient solutions containing 0.00, 0.04, 0.08, 0.12, 0.16 or 0.24 mmol l-1 Cr（III）. Chromium toxicity was observed at Cr（III） concentrations ≥ 0.12 mmol l-1 as demonstrated by diminished growth of the aerial parts and reduced density of the root system. Increasing Cr（III） concentrations in the nutrient solution resulted in a higher bioaccumulation of total Cr in the tissues, although translocation from roots to aerial parts was not efficient （maximum value of 25% at 0.12 mmol l-1 Cr（III））. The Cr bioaccumulation was up to 11-fold greater in roots than in the aerial parts. Tagetes erecta exhibited leaf plasticity when exposed to Cr, indicating the existence of a tolerance mechanism to Cr in this species. Chromium caused a reduction in xilem vases, resulting in a plastic effect in T. erecta leaves that increased the metal tolerance in culture solution. Tagetes spp. are potential Cr hyperaccumulators; at Cr（III） concentrations up to 0.12 mmol l-1, the plants accumulated levels above that proposed for hyperaccumulators and still maintained a considerable growth and even flourished. However, this study was conducted in nutrient solution, and studies on species confirmation as Cr hyperaccumulator should be conducted in soils for further clarification.

Testing techniques to reduce weed infestation is a crucial step in developing direct tree seeding systems. The use of pre-emergence herbicides may be an alternative to manual weeding techniques, but so far, information on how they affect the seeds of native tree species is scarce. We established a greenhouse experiment to evaluate the effects of four pre-emergence herbicides (atrazine, diuron, isoxaflutole and oxyfluorfen) on weed suppression and seedling emergence and early growth of seven tropical forest tree species (Annona coriacea Mart., Citharexylum myrianthum Cham., Cordia ecalyculata Vell., Peltophorum dubium (Spreng.) Taub., Psidium guajava l., Pterogyne nitens Tul. and Schinus terebinthifolia raddi). The experimental design was a randomized complete block design with five treatments and five replicates. The treatments consisted of a single dose of each pre-emergence herbicide and a control. Throughout the 60 days after sowing we evaluated weed cover and seedling emergence and early growth of tree species. Overall, our results suggest that all tested herbicides reduced weed cover; however, they also negatively affected tree species seedling emergence. Of the four herbicides tested, atrazine and diuron showed the greatest effects on tree seedling emergence, oxyfluorfen was least aggressive towards native species and isoxaflutole was most effective in weed control. Native tree species varied in their responses to herbicides, indicating that future experiments should increase the number of species tested as well as investigate how seed traits can affect the species responses to different herbicides.

This work is focused on the development of computational algorithms to create a simulator for solving the heat transfer during the continuous casting process of steel. The temperatures and the solid shell thickness profiles were calculated and displayed on the screen for a billet through a defined continuous casting plant （CCP）. The algorithms developed to calculate billet temperatures, involve the solutions of the corresponding equations for the heat removal conditions such as radiation, forced convection, and conduction according to the billet posi- tion through the CCP. This is done by a simultaneous comparison with the kinematics model previously developed. A finite difference method known as Cmnk-Nicholson is applied to solve the two-dimensional computational array （2d model）. Enthalpy （HIJ） and temperature （TIl） in every node are updated at each step time. The routines to display the results have been developed using a graphical user interface （GUI） in the programming language C＋＋. Finally, the results obtained are compared with those of industrial trials for the surface temperature of three steel casters with different plant configurations in different casting conditions.

due to increasing regulations and restrictions, there is an urgent need to develop effective alternatives to chemical-dependent fumigation control of soilborne pests and pathogens. Anaerobic soil disinfestation （ASd） is one such alternative showing great promise for use in the control of soilborne pathogens and pests. This method involves the application of a carbon source, irrigation to field capacity, and covering the soil with a plastic tarp. While the mechanisms of ASd are not completely understood, they appear to be a combination of changes in the soil microbial community composition, production of volatile organic compounds, and the generation of lethal anaerobic conditions. The variety of materials and options for ASd application, including carbon sources, soil temperature, and plastic tarp type, influence the efficacy of pathogen sup- pression and disease control. Currently, both dry （e.g., rice bran） and liquid （e.g., ethanol） carbon sources are commonly used, but with different results depending on environmental conditions. While solarization is not an essential component of ASd, it can enhance efficacy. Understanding the mechanisms that mediate biological changes occurring in the soil during ASd will facilitate our ability to increase ASd efficacy while enhancing its commercial viability.
