Primary sclerosing cholangitis(PSC) is a disease of the biliary tract, which has been documented in the literature since 1867. This disease has a strong predilection for affecting men and can be seen in individuals as young as 2 years of age. PSC has a strong associated with inflammatory bowel disease, more commonly with ulcerative colitis, and is also part of the clinical spectrum of Ig G4-related diseases. Smallduct PSC, a variant of PSC, also has an association with inflammatory bowel disease. The exact pathogenesis of PSC is not well understood at present, however, is likely a combination of a genetic predisposition with alteration of the molecular structure of the gut. Abnormal serum liver chemistry and presence of certain autoimmune markers are usually the first indicators leading to a diagnosis of PCS, however, these may often be normal in early stages of this disease. The diagnosis is made by cholangiography, which is now considered the gold standard. PSC is a known pre-malignant condition. Such patients have an increased risk of developing cholangiocarcinoma, gallbladder neoplasia, and colon cancer. Many new treatment modalities have emerged in the recent past, including anti-tumor necrosis factor-α and anti-integrins; however, liver transplantation is the only known cure for PSC. Despite past and present research, PSC remains an enigmatic biliary disease with few viable treatment options.

In this paper, for the purpose of measuring the non-self-centrality extent of non-self- centered graphs, a novel eccerttricity-based invariant, named as non-self-centrality number （NSC num- ber for short）, of a graph G is defined as follows： N（G） =∑vi,vj∈v（G）｜ei-ej｜ where the summation goes over all the unordered pairs of vertices in G and ei is the eccentricity of vertex vi in G, whereas the invariant will be called third Zagreb eccentricity index if the summation only goes over the adja- cent vertex pairs of graph G. In this paper, we determine the lower and upper bounds on N（G） and characterize the corresponding graphs at which the lower and upper bounds are attained. Finally we propose some attractive research topics for this new invariant of graphs.

Machining of micro holes with micro electro- chemical machining （micro ECM） process has been carried out with an indigenously developed set up. This paper describes relevant problems and solutions for the circular micro holes machining process on 304 stainless steel sheets with 60 μm thickness using high speed steel cylindrical tool of diameter 500 ~tm and using dilute I-I2SO4 as elec- trolyte. The taper angle variation of the machined hole is analyzed and reported for different experimental setting parameters. The minimum value of the taper angle of machined holes is achieved at the parameter setting of 0.4 mol/L H2504, 700 kHz, 600 ns and 21 v, for stainless steel sheets and HSS tool.

The present study focused on mathematical modeling, multi response optimization, tool life, and eco- nomical analysis in finish hard turning of AISI D2 steel （（55 4- 1） HRC） using CvD-coated carbide （TiN/TiCN/ A1203） and uncoated carbide inserts under dry environ- mental conditions. Regression methodology and the grey relational approach were implemented for modeling and multi-response optimization, respectively. Comparative economic statistics were carried out for both inserts, and the adequacy of the correlation model was verified. The experimental and predicted values for all responses were very close to each other, implying the significance of the model and indicating that the correlation coefficients were close to unity. The optimal parametric combinations for A1203 coated carbide were dl-fl-v2 （depth of cut = 0.1 mm, feed = 0.04 mm/r and cutting speed = 108 m/min）, and those for the uncoated tool were dl-（0.1 mm）-fl （0.04 mm/r）-vl （63 rn/min）. The observed tool life for the coated carbide insert was 15 times higher than that for the uncoated carbide insert, considering flank wear criteria of 0.3 mm. The chip volume after machining for the coated carbide insert was 26.14 times higher than that of the uncoated carbide insert and could be better utilized for higher material removal rate. Abrasion, diffusion, notch- ing, chipping, and built-up edge have been observed to be the principal wear mechanisms for tool life estimation. Use of the coated carbide tool reduced machining costs by about 3.55 times compared to the use of the uncoated carbide insert, and provided economic benefits in hard turning.

Fermented soy foods(FSFs)are consumed as a common staple in many countries of *** are receiving cosmopolitan demand because of their impressive functional *** comprise numerous bioactive components and phytochemicals with multiple health benefits besides valuable *** suggests that use of FSFs are more beneficial than their non-fermented forms because of their higher digestibility,functional components,good probiotic content and lower amount of anti-nutritional ***,a large body of evidence signifies antidiabetic properties of FSFs.A plethora of in vitro,in vivo and clinical experiments revealed that FSFs prepared either through traditional or standardized methods could be operative against hyperglycemia,insulin resistance,aberrant energy metabolism,oxidative stress and low-grade inflammation associated with diabetic *** antidiabetic efficacies of FSFs were attributed to various functional ingredients including bioactive peptides,isoflavones,polyphenols,and *** collective molecular insights in support of antidiabetic actions of FSFs and their derivative components unraveled a wide range of pharmacological targets,such as carbohydrate/lipid hydrolyzing enzymes,cell signaling molecules,transcription factors,and cell-surface transporters in multiple *** present review aims to summarize and systematically represent the antidiabetic potency of various fermentation-based soy foods including fermented soy paste,sauce,milk,condiment,permeate according to the interpretations from in vitro,pre-clinical and clinical ***,the pleotropic roles of biofactors underlying the anti-hyperglycemic potential of FSFs are deciphered in the present piece of *** cumulative representation along with current opinions and future perspectives could be helpful for the emergence of food-based therapeutics.

AIM Toll like receptors plays a significant anti-viral role in different infections. The aim of this study was to look into the role of toll like receptor 4(TLR4) in hepatitis B virus(HBv) *** Real time PCR was used to analyze the transcription of TLR4 signaling molecules, cell cycle regulators and HBv DNA viral load after triggering the Hep G2.2.15 cells with TLR4 specific ligand. Nuclear factor(NF)-κB translocation on TLR4 activation was analyzed using microscopic techniques. Protein and cell cycle analysis was done using Western Blot and FACS *** The present study shows that TLR4 activation represses HBv infection. As a result of HBv suppression, there are several changes in host factors which include partial release in G1/S cell cycle arrest and changes in host epigenetic marks. Finally, it was observed that anti-viral action of TLR4 takes place through the NF-κB *** The study shows that TLR4 activation in HBv infection brings about changes in hepatocyte microenvironment and can be used for developing a promising therapeutic target in future.

Left-turning vehicle movement at signalized intersections with permissive left-turn phases creates safety concerns due to the higher chance of conflict with opposing-through vehicles and *** this research,a simulation-based study was conducted to evaluate pedestrians’impact on traffic conflicts between left-turning vehicles and opposing-through vehicles(v-v conflicts)as well as traffic conflicts between left-turning vehicles and pedestrians(v-P conflicts)in the permissive left-turn phasing *** with different opposing-through volumes,left-turn volumes,number of opposing-through lanes,and pedestrian volumes were modeled in vISSIM,a traffic *** surrogate safety assessment model(SSAM)was used to estimate the number of v-v and vP *** effect of pedestrian presence on v-v and v-P conflicts was evaluated using simulation scenarios with and without pedestrian *** results revealed that pedestrian presence increased both v-v and v-P *** pedestrian presence increased the total number of traffic conflicts,permissive left-turn phasing processed fewer left-turn vehicles to maintain the same level of intersection safety with pedestrian presence compared to the no-pedestrian *** current left-turn phasing decision guidelines do not consider the impacts of pedestrian presence,this research quantified pedestrian-influenced and pedestrian-involved left-turn traffic conflicts to determine appropriate left-turn signal phasing decisions to ensure safe and efficient crossing of pedestrians and vehicles at signalized *** simulation-based study’s findings can be beneficial in the decision making of left-turn phasing selection as the before-after intersection safety performance analysis by collecting field data often resources intensive.
