A mixed fruit beverage was formulated according to D-optimal mixture design using apple ber juice(X_(1),45-59%v/v)-an underexplored fruit,carambola juice(X_(2),1-20%v/v),and black table grape juice(X3,35-40%v/v).The crisp overall acceptability(COA)from 16 semi-trained panelists and overall hedonic score(OSH)from consumers were *** best formulation was apple ber:carambola:black table grape juices=59.0:3.5:37.5 v/v with COA and OSH values of 3.23(on a scale of 5)and 7.55(on a scale of 9),***,the efficacy of pulsed light(PL)(18-30 W cm^(-2) for 33-167 s;total fluence 600-5000 J cm^(-2))and thermal treatments(90℃ for 1-5 min)were studied on various attributes of the mixed *** beverages processed at 90℃ for 5 min(thermal treatment)and 5000 J cm^(-2)(PL treatment at 30 W cm^(-2) for 167 s)showed no microbial count with a complete enzyme *** thermally pasteurized sample(90℃/5 min)was more brown(browning index=70.15)than the PL pasteurized beverage(browning index=65.98).Interestingly,the PL pasteurized(5000 J cm^(-2))beverage showed 25%,27%,and 19% more vitamin C,antioxidants,and phenolic compounds,respectively,than the thermally pasteurized(90℃/5 min)*** PL-treated beverage had a greater sensory appeal than the thermally treated ***-treatment can be an efficient non-thermal pasteurization treatment for ensuring complete microbial and enzymatic inactivation with maximal retention of nutritional and sensory attributes of the blended beverage.

While analytical solutions of critical(phase)transitions in dynamical systems are abundant for simple nonlinear systems,such analysis remains intractable for real-life dynamical systems.A key example is thermoacoustic insta-bility in combustion,where prediction or early detection of the onset of instability is a hard technical challenge,which needs to be addressed to build safer and more energy-efficient gas turbine engines powering aerospace and energy *** instabilities arising in combustion chambers of engines are mathematically too complex to *** address this issue in a data-driven manner instead,we propose a novel deep learning architecture called 3D convolutional selective autoencoder(3D-CSAE)to detect the evolution of self-excited oscillations using spatiotemporal data,i.e.,hi-speed videos taken from a swirl-stabilized combustor(laboratory surrogate of gas turbine engine combustor).3D-CSAE consists of filters to learn,in a hierarchical fashion,the complex visual and dynamic features related to combustion instability from the training videos(i.e.,two spatial dimensions for the image frames and the third dimension for time).We train the 3D-CSAE on frames of videos obtained from a limited set of operating *** select the 3D-CSAE hyper-parameters that are effective for characterizing hierarchical and multiscale instability structure evolution by utilizing the dynamic information available in the *** proposed model clearly shows performance improvement in detecting the precursors and the onset of *** machine learning-driven results are verified with physics-based off-line *** active control mechanisms can directly leverage the proposed online detection capability of 3D-CSAE to mitigate the adverse effects of combustion instabilities on the engine operating under various stringent requirements and conditions.

Acoustic Scene Classification（ASC）is the recognition and categorization of audio data that identifies the environment which it has been *** is quite a challenging application of machine listening due to the noisy nature of the audio *** analyze several state-of-the-art models for ASC on two different *** datasets belong to the IEEE challenge on the Detection and Classification of Acoustic Scenes and Events（DCASE）2017 and *** two datasets are publicly available for research purpose,and consist of 10 and 15 classes of acoustic scenes *** total,57 hours of stereo recordings are available which includes common indoor and outdoor environmental scenes,such as beach,city center,library,forest path train,car,*** propose a method of ASC via fusing the voting of deep neural *** the proposed method,two different acoustic features are first extracted from each audio recording *** cepstral coefficients（MFCC）and Logarithmic filter-bank（LFB）.These features are then fed into three different classifiers（deep neural networks）: Visual Geometry Group（VGG）,Residual Network（Res Net）and Long Short-Term Memory（LSTM）.The motivation for choosing these variety of neural networks is that they have complementary advantages for *** training each network and acquiring the results,fusion of classifiers voting is used to determine a final *** fusion of all the results through voting technique is one of the methods under ensemble *** final Classification Accuracies（CA）that are obtained after the fusion of the classifiers are 73.27% and 76.99% on DCASE 2017 and 2019 datasets *** proposed fusion of classifiers voting obtains the CA improvements by 12.71% and 13.79% on DCASE 2017 and 2019 datasets respectively,compared to the individual baseline classifiers.

Forecasters predict that by 2020 there will be 4.5 or 5 million tons per annum maize supply deficiency in Vietnam. As a result of this projection, the government responded by shifting 80,000 ha of low-efficiency rice production areas into maize production （2014-2015） and this area of production for maize is expected to increase to 150,000 ha by 2016-2020. Nevertheless, not all commercial maize hybrids could be suitable for rice-growing land in the Mekong Delta and a national project of hybrid maize development for Mekong Delta has been conducted since early 2014. In the project, yield trials of 20 maize hybrids, sourced from Vietnamese institutions and the private sector including Syngenta （NK67） and Dekalb （DK9901）, were sown in Dong Thap, Hau Giang and Long An provinces situated in the Mekong Delta, in minor acid sulphate soils with a pH of 5.0-5.5. The trial included three replications in an Alpha lattice design conducted during spring-summer in 2014. The hybrids flowered at 50-52 d after planting and physiologically matured between 93-97 d after planting. This suggested they would be suitable for cropping systems, which was comprised of three seasons per year. To determine which hybrid is best suited for the region, researchers evaluated yield and ear characteristics. The average yield of the genotypes across locations was 52.03, 54.92 and 57.60 quintals/ha, respectively, and the heritability of genotypes in each location was 0.51, 0.81 and 0.61, respectively. The mean yield of DK9901 was 58.19 quintals/ha, ranking the 7th among 20 hybrids, and NK67 was 47.58 quintals/ha, ranking the 19th. The grand mean was 54.92 quintals/ha and heritability for all genotypes was 0.79. The highest yield was produced by the Southern seed company hybrid SSC474 （69.39 quintals/ha）, which yielded significantly more maize than DK9901 （58.19 quintals/ha） at P 〈 0.05, followed by VS71 from National Maize Research Institute （NMRI） at 63.52 quintals/ha, and LCH9A from NMRI at 63.39 quin

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have emerged as innovative tools in agriculture, revolutionizing crop protection practices and the use of pesticide combinations to aid the management of insect pests and diseases in a single application. This research delves into assessing the efficacy of drone-based pesticide spraying utilizing combinations of pesticides to combat insect pests and diseases in rice cultivation. In kharif 2022, the physically compatible combination of insecticides (chlorantraniliprole 18.5% SC and tetraniliprole 200 SC) with fungicides (picoxystrobin 7.5%+tricyclazole 22.5% SC and tebuconazole 50%+trifloxystrobin 25% WG) were administered via drones and compared with conventional Taiwan sprayer. The results indicated that tebuconazole+trifloxystrobin, when applied via drones, exhibited the highest control efficacy against the brown spot, sheath blight, and sheath rot (47.8%, 77.4%, and 75.2% respectively). Moreover, combination treatment, i.e., tetraniliprole+(tebuconazole+trifloxystrobin), applied using a drone, achieved the most effective control (78.1%) against grain discoloration. Additionally, drone-based tetraniliprole application showed effectiveness against stem borer and whorl maggot (efficacy rates of 49.1%, 66.6%, and 60.7% for dead hearts, white ear, and whorl maggot, respectively). Overall, the pesticide combination treatment, i.e., tetraniliprole+(tebuconazole+trifloxystrobin), showed higher control efficacy against all the insect pests and diseases and recorded the highest grain yield of 7995 kg/hm2 with an incremental cost-benefit ratio (ICBR) of (1:5.63) when sprayed with a drone. Overall, this study underscores the potential of drone-assisted pesticide application in effectively managing multiple insect pests and diseases in rice, offering superior precision, efficacy, efficiency, and yield.

A case report on a rare case of primary tuberculous otitis media

Although tuberculosis has become more common in recent years, it still accounts for just a small percentage of cases of chronic otitis media. Common symptoms of tuberculous otitis media(TOM) include otorrhoea, hearing loss, and multiple tympanic membrane perforations. Due to its rarity, the illness is frequently misdiagnosed. When a patient does not improve with standard antibacterial and antifungal treatment, this may be a possible diagnosis to explore. Complete healing is possible if the illness is diagnosed and treated timely to prevent consequences.
