Mitochondrial biogenesis and function in plants require the expression of over 1000 nuclear genes encoding mitochondrial proteins （ngEMPs）. The expression of these genes is regulated by tissue-specific, developmental, internal, and external stimuli that result in a dynamic organelle involved in both metabolic and a variety of signaling processes. Although the metabolic and biosynthetic machinery of mitochondria is relatively well understood, the factors that regu- late these processes and the various signaling pathways involved are only beginning to be identified at a molecular level. The molecular components of anterograde （nuclear to mitochondrial） and retrograde （mitochondrial to nuclear） signaling pathways that regulate the expression of ngEMPs interact with chloroplast-, growth-, and stress-signaling pathways in the cell at a variety of levels, with common components involved in transmission and execution of these signals. This positions mitochondria as important hubs for signaling in the cell, not only in direct signaling of mitochondrial function per se, but also in sensing and/or integrating a variety of other internal and external signals. This integrates and optimizes growth with energy metabolism and stress responses, which is required in both photosynthetic and non-photosynthetic cells.

The feasibility of manufacturing Ti-6Al-4V samples through a combination of laser-aided additive manufacturing with powder(LAAM_(p))and wire(LAAM_(w))was explored.A process study was first conducted to successfully circumvent defects in Ti-6Al-4V deposits for LAAM_(p) and LAAM_(w),*** the optimized process parameters,robust interfaces were achieved between powder/wire deposits and the forged substrate,as well as between powder and wire *** characterization results revealed the epitaxial prior β grains in the deposited Ti-6Al-4V,wherein the powder deposit was dominated by a finerα′microstructure and the wire deposit was characterized by lamellar α *** mechanisms of microstructure formation and correlation with mechanical behavior were analyzed and *** mechanical properties of the interfacial samples can meet the requirements of the relevant Aerospace Material Specifications(AMS 6932)even without post heat *** fracture occurred within the interfacial area,further suggesting the robust *** findings of this study highlighted the feasibility of combining LAAM_(p) and LAAM_(w) in the direct manufacturing of Ti-6Al-4V parts in accordance with the required dimensional resolution and deposition rate,together with sound strength and ductility balance in the as-built condition.

“法律行为”一词乃日本明治时期法学家所创造。根据立法会议记录,日本德式新民法草案最初采用的术语是“法律上的行为”,后来才改采“法律行为”。“行为”一译,是沿用了日本法式旧民法中“acte”的译法。然而,起草委员们未注意到德国学说上“Rechtsgeschaft”与“Rechtshandlung”之分,故“Rechtsgeschaft”“Rechtshandlung”“acte juridique”曾被当时日本文献视作同义。因立法后术语难再改动,起草委员们只能以学说之名,将“法律行为”分为广狭二义,广义者指“Rechtshandlung”,狭义者指“Rechtsgeschaft”,而“acte juridique”可作广狭二用,至于“法律上的行为”,则专指“Rechtshandlung”。因“行为”同被用于“Geschaft”“Handlung”甚至“Akt”等,使汉字术语相当混乱。这一混乱随着清末留日学生翻译的日本著作与讲义传入我国。译本的不理想,使我国错失改译的良机。本文发现了两部从未被引用的文献:1917年,余棨昌对“法律行为”译语提出了批评,这一发现可将学界认知前推90年;1977年,刘世民首次提出改译方案,主张将“法律行为”改译为“法律事务”。虽然21世纪又出现了各家改译方案,但将“Rechtsgeschaft”与“Rechtshandlung”分别译为“法律行为”与“法律上的行为”仍是主流。

The Solar X-ray Detector(SXD)on-board the Macao Science Satellite-1B(MSS-1B)was successfully launched via the Chinese Long March-2C rocket on 21 May 2023,and commenced operations in early June of the same *** MSS-1B/Soft X-ray Detection Units(SXDUs)employ two silicon drift detectors(SDDs),providing a wide range of energy spectra spanning from 0.7 to 24 ***,the SXDUs deliver a high-resolution capability of 0.14 keV@5.9 keV and operate with a time cadence of 1 ***,we perform thorough calibrations of the MSS-1B/SXDUs,employing a combination of ground experiments and *** addition,quantitative analysis comparing the flux measurements obtained by the MSS-1B/SXDUs to the data collected by the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite(GOES),provides compelling evidence of their ***,the preliminary spectral analysis results showcase the robustness and expected performance of the MSS-1B/SXDUs,unlocking their potential for facilitating the study of dynamic evolution of solar ***,the innovative MSS-1B/Solar X-ray Detector facilitates concurrent observations of solar soft and hard X-rays,thereby making valuable contributions to the advancements in solar research.

Identifying cryptic species poses a substantial challenge to both biologists and naturalists due to morphological similarities. Bemisia tabaci is a cryptic species complex containing more than 44 putative species;several of which are currently among the world's most destructive crop pests. Interpreting and delimiting the evolution of this species complex has proved problematic. To develop a comprehensive framework for species delimitation and identification, we evaluated the performance of distinct data sources both individually and in combination among numerous samples of the B. tabaci species complex acquired worldwide. Distinct datasets include full mitogenomes, single-copy nuclear genes, restriction site-associated DNA sequencing, geographic range, host speciation, and reproductive compatibility datasets. Phylogenetically, our well-supported topologies generated from three dense molecular markers highlighted the evolutionary divergence of species of the B. tabaci complex and suggested that the nuclear markers serve as a more accurate representation of B. tabaci species diversity. Reproductive compatibility datasets facilitated the identification of at least 17 different cryptic species within our samples. Native geographic range information provides a complementary assessment of species recognition, while the host range datasets provide low rate of delimiting resolution. We further summarized different data performances in species classification when compared with reproductive compatibility, indicating that combination of mtCOI divergence, nuclear markers, geographic range provide a complementary assessment of species recognition. Finally, we represent a model for understanding and untangling the cryptic species complexes based on the evidence from this study and previously published articles.

外伤性视神经损伤引起的视网膜神经节细胞(RGC)继发性死亡和轴突丢失是导致不可逆性视功能损害的主要原因。视神经受损后RGC的快速死亡及复杂的死亡途径致使临床治疗效果收效甚微。近年来,干细胞的潜能成为神经退行性病变组织修复再生的新治疗手段。成体干细胞,尤其是间充质干细胞(MSC),因其免疫调控特性和神经保护作用,在外伤性视神经损伤修复治疗上被广泛研究。MSC以旁分泌神经营养因子、释放外泌体及细胞移植直接接触受损组织等方式发挥神经保护作用促进RGC存活及轴突再生,并经处理后可增强其干细胞特性;此外,MSC可被诱导转分化为RGC,发挥细胞替代治疗的修复作用。本文将总结MSC在外伤性视神经损伤治疗方面的动物实验和临床研究进展,以及其作用机制,同时归纳了增强MSC神经保护作用的方法,还探讨未来MSC在外伤性视神经损伤上的发展方向,这有利于今后制定更完善可靠的MSC应用于外伤性视神经损伤的治疗策略。

Interaction of oblique waves with an array of long horizontal circular cylinders

The scattering and radiations of linear oblique waves by multiple long horizontal circular cylinders submerged in water of finite depth are investigated using the multipole expansion method. Analytical expressions for the diffracted and radiated potentials are given as a linear combination of infinite multipoles. The unknown coefficients in the expressions are determined by using the addition theorem of the Bessel function and the cylinder boundary conditions. Also analytical expressions for wave forces, hydrodynamic coefficients and reflection and transmission coeffi-cients are derived. The present analytical solution is verified through the boundary element method and applied to investigate three different cases of the interaction of oblique waves with multiple submerged horizontal circular cylinders. The results show that the number of cylinders, the arrangement and spacing between cylinders play an important role in wave forces, hydrodynamic coefficients and reflection and transmission coefficients. Some interesting and important phenomena are ob-served in numerical experiments.

Nonlinear dynamical characteristics of bed load motion

Bed forms of various kinds that evolve naturally on the bottom of sandy coasts and rivers are a result of the kinematics of bed load transport. Based on the group motion of particles in the bed load within the bottom layer, a study on the nonlinear dy- namics of bed load transport is presented in this paper. It is found that some development stages, such as the initiation, the equilibrium sediment transport, and the transition from a smooth bed to sand dunes, can be accounted for by different states in the nonlinear sys- tem of the bed load transport. It is verified by comparison with experimental data reported by Laboratoire Nationae D’Hydraulique, Chatou, France, that the evolution from a smooth bed to sand dunes is determined by mutation in the bed load transport. This paper pre- sents results that may offer theoretical explanations to the experimental observations. It is also an attempt to apply the state-of-the-art nonlinear science to the classical sediment transport mechanics.
