To better understa.d the physicochemica. conditions in a. fecting regiona. distribution of phytopla.kton community, one resea.ch cruise wa. ca.ried out in the Boha. Sea.a.d Yellow Sea.during 3 rd a.d 23 th Ma., 2010. The phytopla.kton community, including Ba.illa.iophyta.105 ta.a., pyrrophyta.54 ta.a., Chrysophyta.1 ta.on) a.d Chlorophyta.2 ta.a., ha. been identified a.d clea.ly described from six ecologica. provinces. a.d, the six ecologica. provinces were pa.titioned ba.ed on the top twenty domina.t species rela.ed with nota.le physicochemica. pa.a.eters. In genera., the regiona. distributions of phytopla.kton ecologica. provinces were predomina.tly influenced by the physicochemica. properties induced by the va.ia.le wa.er ma.ses a.d circula.ions. The predomina.t dia.oms in most of wa.er sa.ples showed well a.a.ta.ility in turbulent a.d eutrophic conditions. However, severa. species of dinofla.ella.es e.g., protoperidinium conicum, protoperidinium triestinum, protoperidinium sp. a.d Gymnodinium lohma.ni preferred wa.mer, sa.tier a.d nutrient-poor environment. Moreover, the dinofla.ella.es with high frequency in the Yellow Sea.might be tra.sported from the Yellow Sea.Wa.m Current. The horizonta. distribution of phytopla.kton wa. depicted by dia.oms a.d controlled by phospha.e concentra.ion, while the vertica. distribution wa. ma.nly supported by light a.d nutrients a.a.la.ility in the subsurfa.e a.d bottom la.ers, respectively.

However, certa.n high a.lelic frequencies of severa. nutrientrela.ed polymorphisms ma. ha.e been a.hieved by pa.t gene-nutrient intera.tions. Such intera.tions ma. ha.e promoted the positive selection of va.ia.ts a.a.ted to regiona. food sources. a. present, the unba.a.ced diet composition of the Mexica.s ha. led the country to a.70% preva.ence ra.e of overweightness a.d obesity due to substa.tia. cha.ges in food ha.its, a.ong other fa.tors.
