Objective:To reevaluate whether relatively few oocytes obtained in one cycle are an indication for intracytoplasmic sperm injection(ICSI).Methods:A total of 406 cycles with three or fewer retrieved oocytes performed in 396 non-male infertile couples were retrospectively *** were classified into three groups by different fertilization techniques:the in vitro fertilization(IVF) group,insemination with conventional IVF;the ICSI group,insemination with ICSI though semen parameters were normal;and the rescue ICSI group,re-insemination with ICSI after conventional IVF ***:The ICSI group resulted in higher normal fertilization compared with the conventional IVF ***,the cycle cancellation rate was decreased in the ICSI group,though it was not statistically *** clinical pregnancy rate and implantation rate were lower in the ICSI group compared with the conventional IVF *** ICSI was a method to avert total fertilization failure in conventional IVF,increasing fertilization and ensuring embryo availability for transfer,but the normal fertilization was the lowest due to delayed insemination and the chance of pregnancy was very ***:Obtaining only few oocytes in one cycle is not considered as an indication for ICSI when the sperm sample is apparently *** ICSI is either not recommended if conventional insemination *** patients should not be subjected to the unnecessary costs and potential risks of ICSI.

This paper introduced the concept of L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebra and discussed its properties. Proved that the intersection set of a family of L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebras is a L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebra, that a L-fuzzy sub set of a lattice implication algebra is a L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebra if and only if its every cut set is a sub lattice implication algebra, and that the image and original image of a L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebra under a lattice implication homomorphism are both L-fuzzy sub lattice implication algebras.

Effect of long-term topical latanoprost medication on conjunctival thickness in patients with glaucoma

AIM： To investigate the effect of long-term use of topically administered latanoprost on conjunctival thickness（CT） and conjunctival epithelium thickness（CET） in the patients with glaucoma. METHODS： A series of 106 glaucomatous patients were included. Of the 106 eyes, 55 eyes were treated with latanoprost eye drops once a day（latanoprost group）, while 51 eyes were treated with carteolol hydrochloride eye drops（carteolol group）. All the included patients completed a 2-year follow-up. CT and CET were measured with optical coherence tomography（OCT） in all patients at presentation and at 2-year visit, respectively. Statistical analysis was then performed to compare the change in CT and CET. RESULTS： At presentation, there was no difference in CET（t=0.400, P=0.689） or CT（t=1.14, P=0.259） between the two groups. No significant difference was found in CET（61.65±5.35 μm at baseline, 60.36±6.36 μm at 2-year follow-up, respectively; t=1.977, P=0.0531）, while there was a significant decrease in CT from 201.45±14.99 μm at baseline to 167.81±14.57 μm at 2-year visit（t=14.1407, P〈0.001） in the latanoprost group. At 2-year follow-up, no statistically difference was found in CET（62.24±5.27 μm; t=1.086, P=0.282） or CT（201.23±12.45 μm; t=1.44, P=0.154） compared to it at baseline（CET： 61.23±5.42 μm; CT： 198.76±13.68 μm, respectively） in the carteolol group. CONCLUSION： A significant decrease in conjunctival thickness is found in glaucoma patients treated with long-term topical latanoprost; its potential effect on the outcome of filtration surgery should be considered.

Laser-assisted machining(LAM),as one of the most efficient ways,has been employed to improve the machinability of nickel-based ***,the conventional LAM process usually used high power laser with large spot size,easily leading to high processing costs and overheating of bulk *** this paper,a new approach of selective laser ablation assisted milling(SLA-Mill)process for nickel-based superalloys was proposed,in which low power laser with small spot size was used to selectively ablate the uncut surface in front of the cutting tool,resulting in plentiful surface defects *** defects would significantly weaken the mechanical strength of difficult-to-cut materials,which was different from the thermal“softening”principle of conventional ***,the laser ablation effect with low power and small spot size was first *** relationship between process parameters(e.g.,laser power,cutting speed and cutting depth)and process characteristics of SLA-Mill(e.g.,chip morphology,tool wear and surface integrity)was systematically ***,the chip formation mechanism in the SLA-Mill process was indepth *** show that the SLA-Mill process is an effective approach for enhancing the machinability of nickel-based *** resultant cutting force has a reduction of about 30%at laser power of 60 W,cutting speed of 90 m/min,and cutting depth of 0.1 ***,the chip formation,tool wear,and surface integrity have improved *** general,this paper provides a new route for the application of LAM technology.

The nonlinear filtering problem has enduringly been an active research topic in both academia and industry due to its ever-growing theoretical importance and practical *** main objective of nonlinear filtering is to infer the states of a nonlinear dynamical system of interest based on the available noisy measurements. In recent years, the advance of network communication technology has not only popularized the networked systems with apparent advantages in terms of installation,cost and maintenance, but also brought about a series of challenges to the design of nonlinear filtering algorithms, among which the communication constraint has been recognized as a dominating concern. In this context, a great number of investigations have been launched towards the networked nonlinear filtering problem with communication constraints, and many samplebased nonlinear filters have been developed to deal with the highly nonlinear and/or non-Gaussian scenarios. The aim of this paper is to provide a timely survey about the recent advances on the sample-based networked nonlinear filtering problem from the perspective of communication constraints. More specifically, we first review three important families of sample-based filtering methods known as the unscented Kalman filter, particle filter,and maximum correntropy filter. Then, the latest developments are surveyed with stress on the topics regarding incomplete/imperfect information, limited resources and cyber ***, several challenges and open problems are highlighted to shed some lights on the possible trends of future research in this realm.

The Pub Med,MEDliNE databases and China National Knowledge Infrastructure（CNKI）were searched for information regarding the etiology and pathogenesis of conjunctivochalasis（CCh）and the synthesis and degradation of elastic *** analysis of the literature,we found elastic fibers was a complex protein molecule from the structure and composition;the degradation of elastic fibers was one of the histopathological features of the disease;the vast majority of the factors related to the pathogenesis of CCh ultimately pointed to abnormal elastic *** reasonably speculating,we considered that abnormal elastic fibers cause the conjunctival *** conclusion,we hypothesize that elastic fibers play an important role in the pathogenesis of *** on the mechanism of synthesis,degradation of elastic fibers are helpful to clarify the pathogenesis of the disease and to find effective treatment methods.

A new series of polyamine-toxic cargo conjugates was synthesized with aryl aldehydes conjugating to hydrazino-containing triamine skeletons. The in vitro cytotoxicity of target compounds was evaluated in several cancer cell lines （e.g., L I 210, HeLa and B16） and the cellular entry of these polyamine conjugates via polyamine transporter was investigated on SPD- or DFMO-treated B 16 cell line. Of these compounds, 6c show significant cytotoxicity on L 1210, HeLa and B 16 cell lines （IC50 value, 3.74 μmol/L, 5.66μmol/L and 4.04 μmol/L, respectively）. The polyamine transporter assay demonstrated the suitability of hydrazino-containing polyamine backbones for application as vectors in drug delivery systems.

Rheological Behaviors of Polymers with Nanoparticles Tethered at Each End

The polymer with nanoparticles tethered at each end is a unique model for unraveling the effect of chain ends on the polymer dynamics. We investigated the rheological behavior of this kind of polymer by using nonequilibrium molecular dynamics simulation. The effect of polymer lengths and nanoparticle radii on the complex moduli and viscosity was examined. The dependence of complex moduli on the frequency becomes less pronounced as the polymer is short or the nanoparticle is large. The shear thinning behavior was revealed for these systems, and the scaling exponent of complex viscosity with respect to the frequency was found to change from-1/2 to-3/4 as the polymer shortens or the nanoparticle enlarges. The rheological behavior was further explained by analyzing the mean square distance of nanoparticles. The simulation results were compared with the existing experimental finding, showing an agreement. The work provides information for understanding the chain end effect on polymer rheology.
