The High-energy Fragment Separator(HFRS),which is currently under construction,is a leading international radioactive beam *** sets of position-sensitive twin time projection chamber(TPC)detectors are distributed on HFRS for particle identification and beam *** twin TPCs'readout electronics system operates in a trigger-less mode due to its high counting rate,leading to a challenge of handling large amounts of *** address this problem,we introduced an event-building *** algorithm employs a hierarchical processing strategy to compress data during transmission and *** addition,it reconstructs twin TPCs'events online and stores only the reconstructed particle information,which significantly reduces the burden on data transmission and storage *** studies demonstrated that the algorithm accurately matches twin TPCs'events and reduces more than 98%of the data volume at a counting rate of 500 kHz/channel.

Transition towards carbon-neutral power systems has necessitated optimization of power dispatch in active distribution networks(ADNs)to facilitate integration of distributed renewable *** to unavailability of network topology and line impedance in many distribution networks,physical model-based methods may not be applicable to their *** tackle this challenge,some studies have proposed constraint learning,which replicates physical models by training a neural network to evaluate feasibility of a decision(i.e.,whether a decision satisfies all critical constraints or not).To ensure accuracy of this trained neural network,training set should contain sufficient feasible and infeasible ***,since ADNs are mostly operated in a normal status,only very few historical samples are ***,the historical dataset is highly imbalanced,which poses a significant obstacle to neural network *** address this issue,we propose an enhanced constraint learning ***,it leverages constraint learning to train a neural network as surrogate of ADN's ***,it introduces Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique to generate infeasible samples to mitigate imbalance of historical *** incorporating historical and synthetic samples into the training set,we can significantly improve accuracy of neural ***,we establish a trust region to constrain and thereafter enhance reliability of the *** confirm the benefits of the proposed method in achieving desirable optimality and feasibility while maintaining low computational complexity.

Geochemical modeling to aid experimental design for multiple isotope tracer studies of coupled dissolution and precipitation reaction kinetics

It is a challenge to make thorough but efficient experimental designs for the coupled mineral dissolution and precipitation studies in a multi-mineral system, because it is difficult to speculate the best experimental duration, optimal sampling schedule, effects of different experimental conditions, and how to maximize the experimental outputs prior to the actual experiments. Geochemical modeling is an efficient and effective tool to assist the experimental design by virtually running all scenarios of interest for the studied system and predicting the experimental outcomes. Here we demonstrated an example of geochemical modeling assisted experimental design of coupled labradorite dissolution and calcite and clayey mineral precipitation using multiple isotope tracers. In this study, labradorite(plagioclase) was chosen as the reactant because it is both a major component and one of the most reactive minerals in basalt. Following our isotope doping studies of single minerals in the last ten years, initial solutions in the simulations were doped withmultiple isotopes(e.g., Ca and Si). Geochemical modeling results show that the use of isotope tracers gives us orders of magnitude more sensitivity than the conventional method based on concentrations and allows us to decouple dissolution and precipitation reactions at near-equilibrium condition. The simulations suggest that the precise unidirectional dissolution rates can inform us which rate laws plagioclase dissolution has followed. Calcite precipitation occurred at near-equilibrium and the multiple isotope tracer experiments would provide near-equilibrium precipitation rates, which was a challenge for the conventional concentration-based experiments. In addition, whether the precipitation of clayey phases is the rate-limiting step in some multi-mineral systems will be revealed. Recently,azobenzene-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid(ADCA)has been produced gradually for use as an organic synthesis or pharmaceutical intermediate due to its eminent *** large quantities put into application in the future,the thermal stability of this substance during storage,transportation,and use will become quite ***,in this work,the thermal decomposition behavior,thermal decomposition kinetics,and thermal hazard of ADCA were *** were conducted by using a SENSYS evo DSC device.A combination of differential iso-conversion method,compensation parameter method,and nonlinear fitting evaluation were also used to analyze thermal kinetics and mechanism of ADCA *** results show that when conversion rate α increases,the activation energies of ADCA's first and main decomposition peaks *** amount of heat released during decomposition varies between 182.46 and 231.16 J·g^(-1).The proposed kinetic equation is based on the Avrami-Erofeev model,which is consistent with the decomposition *** the Frank-Kamenetskii model,a calculated self-accelerating decomposition temperature of 287.0℃is obtained.

To design the optimum acceleration control schedule for the Adaptive Cycle Engine(ACE)in the full flight envelope,this paper establishes a direct simulation model of the ACE transient *** this model,geometric parameters are used to replace the component state *** corresponding relationship between geometric parameters and component state parameters is determined by sensitivity *** geometric variables are controlled when the geometric adjustment speed exceeds the limit,and at the same time the corresponding component state parameters are *** gradient optimization algorism is used to optimize the ground acceleration process of ACE,and the control schedule in terms of operating point of compression components and corrected acceleration rate is used as the full-envelope acceleration control schedule based on the similarity *** acceleration control schedules of the triple-bypass mode and the double-bypass mode are designed in this *** acceleration processes under various flight conditions are simulated using the acceleration control *** with the acceleration process with the linear geometric adjustment schedule,the acceleration performance of ACE is improved by the acceleration control schedule,with the impulse of the acceleration process of the triple-bypass mode being increased by 8.7%-12.3% and the impulse of the double-bypass mode acceleration process being increased by 11.8%-14.1%.

We investigate theoretically the Casimir interaction between two parallel two-dimensional electron gases(2DEGs)with Rashba and Dresselhaus spin-orbit interactions(SOIs),based on the quantum field *** derive an analytical expression for the polarization tensor and obtain the solution to the motion equation of the electromagnetic(EM)*** calculate the CasimirLifshitz torque(CLT)between two parallel 2DEGs with Rashba and Dresselhaus SOIs,which can be tuned by changing the relative strength between two *** anisotropic Casimir energy between 2DEGs caused by the interplay between the SOIs of 2DEGs offers a new origin of CLT and a new type of optoelectronic device.

The coherent muon-to-electron transition(COMET)experiment is a leading experiment for the coherent conversion of μ^(-)N→e^(-)N using a high-intensity pulsed muon beamline,produced using innovative slow-extraction ***,it is critical to measure the muon beam *** set up a muon beam monitor(MBM),where scintillating fibers woven in a cross shape were coupled to silicon photomultipliers to measure the spatial profile and timing structure of the extracted muon beam for the *** MBM detector was tested successfully with a proton beamline at the China Spallation Neutron Source and took data with good performance in the commissioning *** development of the MBM,including its mechanical structure,electronic readout,and beam measurement results,are discussed.

Background:Polydatin,a glucoside of resveratrol,has shown protective effects against various ***,little is known about its effect on hepatic ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)*** study aimed to elucidate whether polydatin protects liver against I/R-induced injury and to explore the underlying ***:After gavage feeding polydatin once daily for a week,mice underwent a partial hepatic I/R *** alanine aminotransferase(ALT)/aspartate aminotransferase(AST),hematoxylin-eosin(H&E)and TdT-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling(TUNEL)staining were used to evaluate liver *** severity related to the inflammatory response and reactive oxygen species(ROS)production was also ***,immunofluorescence and Western blotting were used to detect macrophage polarization and the NF-κB signaling pathway in ***:Compared with the I/R group,polydatin pretreatment significantly attenuated I/R-induced liver damage and *** oxidative stress marker(dihydroethidium fluorescence,malondialdehyde,superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase)and I/R related inflammatory cytokines(interleukin1β,interleukin-10 and tumor necrosis factor-α)were significantly suppressed after polydatin *** addition,the result of immunofluorescence indicated that polydatin reduced the polarization of macrophages toward M1 macrophages both in vivo and in *** blotting showed that polydatin inhibited the pro-inflammatory function of RAW264.7 via down-regulating the NF-κB signaling ***:Polydatin protects the liver from I/R injury by remodeling macrophage polarization via NFκB signaling.
