As a critical role in battery systems,polymer binders have been shown to efficiently suppress the lithium polysulfide shuttling and accommodate volume changes in recent ***,preparation processes and safety,as the key criterions for Li-S batteries'practical applications,still attract less ***,an aqueous multifunction binder(named PEI-TIC)is prepared via an easy and fast epoxy-amine ring-opening reaction(10 min),which can not only give the sulfur cathode a stable mechanical property,a strong chemical adsorption and catalytic conversion ability,but also a fire safety *** Li-S batteries based on the PEI-TIC binder display a high discharge capacity(1297.8 mAh g^(-1)),superior rate performance(823.0 mAh g^(-1)at 2 C),and an ultralow capacity decay rate of 0.035%over more than 800 *** under 7.1 mg cm^(-2)S-loaded,the PEI-TIC electrode can also achieve a high areal capacity of 7.2 mA h g^(-1)and excellent cycling stability,confirming its application ***,it is also noted that TG-FTIR test is performed for the first time to explore the flame-retardant mechanism of polymer *** work provides an economically and environmentally friendly binder for the practical application and inspires the exploration of the flame-retardant mechanism of all electrode components.

Modeling and prediction of tribological properties of copper/aluminum-graphite self-lubricating composites using machine learning algorithms

The tribological properties of self-lubricating composites are influenced by many variables and complex ***-driven methods,including machine learning(ML)algorithms,can yield a better comprehensive understanding of complex problems under the influence of multiple parameters,typically for how tribological performances and material properties *** of friction coefficients and wear rates of copper/aluminum-graphite(Cu/Al-graphite)self-lubricating composites with their inherent material properties(composition,lubricant content,particle size,processing process,and interfacial bonding strength)and the variables related to the testing method(normal load,sliding speed,and sliding distance)were analyzed using traditional approaches,followed by modeling and prediction of tribological properties through five different ML algorithms,namely support vector machine(SVM),K-Nearest neighbor(KNN),random forest(RF),eXtreme gradient boosting(XGBoost),and least-squares boosting(LSBoost),based on the tribology experimental *** demonstrated that ML models could satisfactorily predict friction coefficient and wear rate from the material properties and testing method variables ***,the LSBoost model based on the integrated learning algorithm presented the best prediction performance for friction coefficients and wear rates,with R^(2) of 0.9219 and 0.9243,*** importance analysis also revealed that the content of graphite and the hardness of the matrix have the greatest influence on the friction coefficients,and the normal load,the content of graphite,and the hardness of the matrix influence the wear rates the most.

Simultaneous determination of five plant hormones in cotton leaves using QuEChERS combined with HPLC‒MS/MS

Background Plant hormones profoundly influence cotton growth,development,and responses to various ***,there is a pressing need for an efficient assay to quantify these hormones in *** this groundbreaking study,we have established QuEChERS-HPLC‒MS/MS method,for the simultaneous detection of multiple plant hormones in cotton leaves,allowing the analysis and quantification of five key plant *** Sample extraction and purification employed 0.1%acetic acid in methanol and C18 for optimal recovery of plant *** method applied to cotton demonstrated excellent linearity across a concentration range of 0.05–1 mg・L−1,with linear regression coefficients exceeding *** limits of quantification(LOQs)were 20μg・kg−1 for GA3 and 5μg・kg−1 for the other four plant *** rates for the five plant hormones matrix spiked at levels of 5,10,100,and 1000μg・kg−1 were in the range of 79.07%to 98.97%,with intraday relative standard deviations(RSDs)ranging from 2.11%to 8.47%.The method was successfully employed to analyze and quantify the five analytes in cotton leaves treated with plant growth *** The study demonstrates that the method is well-suited for the determination of five plant hormones in *** exhibits excellent selectivity and sensitivity in detecting field samples,thus serving as a robust tool for indepth research into cotton physiology.

Optimum process conditions for preparation of Cu-en/AP composite microspheres by electrostatic spray method based on ANSYS(Fluent) simulation

This study employed ANSYS (Fluent) to set up an orthogonal experimental design for simulating the preparation of AP/Cu-en composite microspheres via the electrostatic spray method. Additionally， a controlled variable approach was used to simulate the influence of flow rate， solvent ratio， and solid mass on the experimental results. The purpose is to study the optimal process conditions for preparing Cu-en/AP composite microspheres through electrostatic spray and to reveal the effects of changes in droplet properties and flow rate during the electrostatic spray process on the experimental *** results indicate that under the following process conditions: a flow rate of 2.67e-3 kg/s， acetone to deionized water ratio of 1.5:1， and a solid mass of 200 mg， the theoretical diameter of the composite microspheres can reach the nanoscale. These microspheres exhibit high velocity within the electric field， there was no significant deviation in the motion trajectory. The particle diameter decreases with the increase of *** the process，This decreasing trend begins to moderate when the flow rate is 1e-3kg/s. When increasing the solvent ratio (higher acetone content)，at the begging，the particle diameter is reduced， followed by an increase. An increase in solid mass also leads to reduced in particle diameter. At a solid mass of approximately 220 mg， the particle diameter starts to increase linearly. It will be explained in detail in this paper.

Quartz-vein-type copper deposits were discovered in SN-trend ore-bearing structures in north-west Dayaoshan,*** of reports on the precise metallogenic age of these deposit has become a bottleneck in metallogenic research in this *** this study,the quartz vein-type copper mine in Longwei area of Jinxiu was selected as the research *** illite samples in the fault gouges and ore samples were collected for testing and *** on the Re-Os isotope dating study,the age of pyrite isochron,belonging to the Caledonian period,was determined to be 417±25 Ma,whereas that of chalcopyrite isochron belonging to the Indosinian period,was found to be 243±18 *** crystallized considerably earlier than *** obtained EPMA data were combined with rock mineralogical analysis data,Metasomatous mineral pyrite and metasomatic mineral chalcopyrite were identified to have originated from different hydrothermal *** the Indosinian period,copper deposits in the Longwei area underwent pyrite crystallization,pyrite fragmentation,copper-bearing hydrothermal filling,and metasomatism,consolidating and forming *** study determined the mineralisation time and ore sources of copper deposits in the Longwei *** study provides evidence for the existence of Indosinian hydrothermal activities in the north-western Dayaoshan area.

The chiral 2×2 charge order has been reported and confirmed in the kagome superconductor RbV3Sb5,while its interplay with superconductivity remains elusive owing to its lowest superconducting transition temperature Tc of about 0.85K in the AV3Sb5 family(A=K,Rb,Cs)that severely challenges electronic spectroscopic ***,utilizing dilution-refrigerator-based scanning tunneling microscopy down to 30 mK,we observe chiral 2×2 pair density waves with residual Fermi arcs in *** find a superconducting gap of 150eV with substantial residual in-gap *** spatial distribution of this gap exhibits chiral 2×2 modulations,signaling a chiral pair density wave(PDW).Our quasi-particle interference imaging of the zero-energy residual states further reveals arc-like *** discuss the relation of the gap modulations with the residual Fermi arcs under the space-momentum correspondence between PDW and Bogoliubov Fermi states.

Sequential pyrolysis for understanding specific influence of cellulose- and lignin-derived volatiles on properties of counterpart char

Interactions of cellulose-and lignin-derived intermediates have been well documented during pyrolysis of lignocellulosic *** reaction network for the interactions is rather complex,as cellulose-derived volatiles could interact/react with not only lignin-derived volatiles but also lignin-derived char and vice *** probe specifically the impacts of cellulose-derived volatiles on the lignin-derived char or the opposite,herein the sequential pyrolysis was performed by arranging cellulose in the upper bed with lignin in the lower bed or lignin above with cellulose below at 350 and 650℃,*** results indicated that the sequential pyrolysis of cellulose→lignin or lignin→cellulose at 350℃induced increased char yield from formation of carbonaceous deposits via volatiles-char *** with the lignin-derived volatiles,the cellulose-derived volatiles,especially aldehyde fractions,were more reactive towards the lignin-derived char at 350℃,forming oxygen-rich lignin-derived char with a higher yield,an abundance of aliphatic structures and consequently lower thermal *** sequential pyrolysis of lignin→cellulose,more aromatics-rich species were deposited on cellulose-derived char,but the lignin-derived volatiles were less reactive for enhancing the char *** 650℃,instead of polymerisation of the volatiles on the char,either the cellulose-or lignin-derived char catalyzed the cracking of the counterpart volatiles to remove the aliphatic functionalities,which made the char more aromatic and thermally more stable.

Influence of self-similar stresses on scenario earthquake construction:An example along the Tanlu Fault

As a famous deep and large fault in eastern China,the Tanlu Fault passes through Anhui,Jiangsu,and Shandong and into northeastern *** is important to improve the understanding of seismic hazard assessments in areas near *** start a scenario earthquake simulation in the M7.5 earthquake potential area of the Xinyi-Sihong segment of the Tanlu *** fault rupture length and width are constrained according to the scaling law of large intraplate earthquakes,the background normal stress is depth dependent,and the initial shear stresses are determined using trial and error by matching the earthquake *** the 120 km rupture length of the M7.5 earthquake,we compare the horizontal uniform stress model and self-similar stress perturbation *** findings reveal that the seismic source time function of the horizontal uniform stress model is similar to that of the Haskell model and that of the self-similar stress perturbation model is more similar to that of a real earthquake *** compare the dynamic rupture simulation and ground motion results under four different stress conditions and find that the shorter the characteristic length of the self-similar function is,the rougher the initial *** the M7.5earthquake with an epicenter in the vicinity of Suqian,the Xinyi-Tancheng segment,which is located in the IX-intensity zone north of the epicenter,vibrates more strongly on the northern side than on the southern side due to the influence of the lowvelocity zone and the peak slip *** response spectra analysis at stations in the study area is useful for improving the earthquake resistance capability.
