BACKGROUND Acute decompensation(AD)of cirrhosis is associated with high short-term mortality,mainly due to the development of acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF).Thus,there is a need for biomarkers for early and accurate identification of AD patients with high risk of development of ACLF and *** triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1.sTREM-1.is released from activated innate immune cells and correlated with various inflammatory *** To explore the prognostic value of sTREM-1.in patients with AD of *** A multicenter prospective cohort of 442 patients with cirrhosis hospitalized for AD was divided into a study cohort(n=309)and validation cohort(n=1.3).Demographic and clinical data were collected,and serum sTREM-1.was measured at *** enrolled patients were followed-up for at least 1.*** In patients with AD and cirrhosis,serum sTREM-1.was an independent prognosis predictor for 1.year survival and correlated with liver,coagulation,cerebral and kidney failure.A new prognostic model of AD(P-AD)incorporating sTREM-1.blood urea nitrogen(BUN),total bilirubin(TBil),international normalized ratio(INR)and hepatic encephalopathy grades was established and performed better than the model for end-stage liver disease(MELD),MELD-sodium(MELD-Na),chronic liver failure-consortium(CliF-C)ACLF and CliF-C AD ***,sTREM-1.was increased in ACLF and predicted the development of ACLF during first 28-d *** ACLF risk score incorporating serum sTREM-1.BUN,INR,TBil and aspartate aminotransferase levels was established and significantly superior to MELD,MELD-Na,CliF-C ACLF,CliF-C AD and P-AD in predicting risk of ACLF *** Serum sTREM-1.is a promising prognostic biomarker for ACLF development and mortality in patients with AD of cirrhosis.

Energy storage and conservation are receiving increased attention due to rising global energy ***,the development of energy storage materials is *** energy storage(TES)systems based on phase change materials(PCMs)have increased in prominence over the past two decades,not only because of their outstanding heat storage capacities but also their superior thermal energy regulation ***,issues such as leakage and low thermal conductivity limit their applicability in a variety of ***-based materials such as graphene and its derivatives can be utilized to surmount these *** study examines the recent advancements in graphene-based phase change composites(PCCs),where graphene-based nanostructures such as graphene,graphene oxide(GO),functionalized graphene/GO,and graphene aerogel(GA)are incorporated into PCMs to substantially enhance their shape stability and thermal conductivity that could be translated to better storage capacity,durability,and temperature response,thus boosting their attractiveness for TES *** addition,the applications of these graphene-based PCCs in various TES disciplines,such as energy conservation in buildings,solar utilization,and battery thermal management,are discussed and summarized.

This paper discusses the parallel computing of the third generation Ocean General Circulation Model (OGCM) from the State Key Laboratory of Numerical Modeling for Atmospheric Science and Geophysical Fluid Dynamics(LASG),Institute of Atmosphere Physics(IAP). Meanwhile, several optimization strategies for parallel computing of OGCM (POGCM) on Scalable Shared Memory Multiprocessor (S2MP) are presented. Using Message Passing Interface (MPI), we obtain super linear speedup on SGI Origin 2000 for parallel OGCM(POGCM) after optimization.

Dear Editor,Three dimensional(3D)bioprinted extracellular matrix(ECM)can be used to provide both biochemical and biophysical cues to direct mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)differentiation,and then differentiated cells were isolated for implantation in vivo using surgical ***,the reduced cell activity after cell isolation from 3D constructs and low cell retention in injured sites limit its application[1..Methacrylated gelatin(GelMA)hydrogel has the advantage of fast crosslinking,which could resemble complex architectures of tissue construct in vivo[2].Here,we adopted a noninvasive bioprinting procedure to imitate the regenerative microenvironment that could simultaneously direct the sweat gland(SG)and vascular differentiation from MSCs and ultimately promote the replacement of glandular tissue in situ(Fig.1.).

BACKGROUND Pulmonary lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma(PLELC)is a rare type of nonsmall-cell lung *** lymphoepithelioma-like carcinoma(LELC)metastasis secondary to PLELC has not been reported *** SUMMARY A 64-year-old female was admitted to our hospital for a regular gastroscopy examination with a 6-year history of surgical resection for left *** emission tomography/computed tomography suggested high accumulation of 1.F-fludeoxyglucose in the gastric cardia *** gastrointestinal endoscopy confirmed a large mass at the stomach ***(IHC)of the biopsy suggested metastatic stomach *** gastrectomy showed that this 6.5 cm×5.0 cm mass was located in the stomach fundus near the *** examination showed a poorly differentiated carcinoma with prominent lymphoplasmacytic *** demonstrated that the tumor was positive for CK(AE1.AE3),p63,p40,p53,Ki-67(70%),and EGFR(3+)and negative for CK7,CK20,Her2,and *** situ hybridization analysis showed positive staining Epstein-Barr virus-encoded *** programmed cell death ligand 1.PD-L1.expression score was 98%,and the combined positive score was 1.0,with no evidence of microsatellite ***,the patient was unequivocally diagnosed with metastatic stomach LELC secondary to pulmonary *** discharge,this patient underwent PD-1.inhibitor treatment(toripalimab,240 mg)every 3 wk for ten cycles,and she has had no tumor *** For gastric LELC metastasis,PD-1.inhibitor therapy could become a new therapeutic approach,though there is still no evidence from large data sets to support this.

In the research field of energy storage dielectrics,the“responsivity”parameter,defined as the recyclable/recoverable energy density per unit electric field,has become critically important for a comprehensive evaluation of the energy storage capability of a *** this work,high recyclable energy density and responsivity,i.e.,W_(rec)=1.1.1.J·cm^(-3) and ξ=373.8 J·(kV·m^(2))^(-1.,have been simultaneously achieved in a prototype perovskite dielectric,BaTiO_(3),which is integrated on Si at 500℃ in the form of a submicron thick *** ferroelectric film features a multi-scale polar structure consisting of ferroelectric grains with different orientations and inner-grain ferroelastic domains.A LaNiO_(3) buffer layer is used to induce a{001.textured,columnar nanograin microstructure,while an elevated deposition temperature promotes lateral growth of the nanograins(in-plane diameter increases from~1.-20 nm at lower temperatures to~30 nm).These preferably oriented and periodically regulated nanograins have resulted in a small remnant polarization and a delayed polarization saturation in the film’s P-E behavior,leading to a high recyclable energy ***,an improved polarizability/dielectric constant of the BaTiO_(3) film has produced a much larger maximum polarization than those deposited at lower temperatures at the same electric field,leading to a record-breaking responsivity for this simple perovskite.

For a long time,classification of Demodex mites has been based mainly on their hosts and phenotypic characteristics.A new subspecies of Demodex folliculorum has been proposed,but not ***,cox1.partial sequences of nine isolates of three Demodex species from two geographical sources({1. and Spain) were studied to conduct molecular identification of *** showed that the mitochondrial cox1.fragments of five *** isolates from the facial skin of Chinese individuals were 429 bp long and that their sequence identity was 97.4%.The average sequence divergence was 1.24% among the five Chinese isolates,0.94% between the two geographical isolate groups({1.(5) and Spain(1.),and 2.1.% between the two facial tissue sources(facial skin(6) and eyelids(1.).The genetic distance and rate of third-position nucleotide transition/transversion were 0.01.5,2.7(3/1. among the five Chinese isolates,0.0094,3.1.3/1. between the two geographical isolate groups,and 0.021.,4.4(3/1. between the two facial tissue *** trees showed that *** from the two geographical isolate groups did not form sister clades,while those from different facial tissue sources *** to the molecular characteristics,it appears that subspecies differentiation might not have occurred and that *** isolates from the two geographical sources are of the same ***,population differentiation might be occurring between isolates from facial skin and eyelids.
