Our aim was to evaluate the quality of ejaculated and epididymal frozen-thawed pig sperm of endangered Vietnam native pig breeds. Ejaculated sperm was collected from live boars and epididymal sperm was collected from slaughtered boars of the MuongTe, Kieng Sat and Co BinhThuan breeds and frozen in 0.25 ml straws using a protocol established earlier for modern pig breeds. We evaluated the sperm quality after thawing in terms of motility and rates of viable and abnormal spermatozoa. Our results revealed that the sperm motility and rates of viable and abnormal frozen-thawed sperm were >30%, >44%, and 0.05). In the Co BinhThuan breed, the rate of pregnancy of ejaculated groups was similar to that of the epididymal group. In conclusion, the ejaculated and epididymal sperm of native Vietnamese pigs were successfully frozen. We succeeded in creating embryos in vitro and pregnant pigs after artificial insemination from frozen-thawed semen in three native Vietnamese pig breeds for the first time. The use of the ejaculated sperm improved the production of native pig embryos in vitro efficiency.

Artificial lift plays an important role in petroleum industry to sustain production flowrate and to extend the lifespan of oil wells. One of the most popular artificial lift methods is Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP) because it can produce high flowrate even for wells with great depth. Although ESPs are designed to work under extreme conditions such as corrosion, high temperatures and high pressure, their lifespan is much shorter than expected. ESP failures lead to production loss and increase the cost of replacement, because the cost of intervention work for ESP is much higher than for other artificial lift methods, especially for offshore wells. Therefore, the prediction of ESP failures is highly valuable in oil production and contributes a lot to the design, construction and operation of oil wells. The contribution of this study is to use 3 machine learning algorithms, which are Decision Tree, Random Forest and Gradient Boosting Machine, to build predictive models for ESP lifespan while using both dynamic and static ESP parameters. Biotic and abiotic factors control aboveground biomass(AGB)and the structure of forest *** study analyses the variation of AGB and stand structure of evergreen broadleaved forests among six ecoregions of Vietnam.A data set of 1731-ha plots from 52 locations in undisturbed old-growth forests was *** results indicate that basal area and AGB are closely correlated with annual precipitation,but not with annual temperature,evaporation or hours of *** area and AGB are positively correlated with trees>30 cm *** areas surveyed(52.6%)in these old-growth forests had AGB of 100–200 Mg ha^-1;5.2%had AGB of 400–500 Mg ha^-1,and 0.6%had AGB of>800 Mg ha^-*** percent of the areas surveyed had stand densities of 300–600 ***^-1,and 64%had basal areas of 20–40 m^2 ha^-*** is an important factor influencing the AGB of old-growth,evergreen broadleaved forests in *** causing the loss of large-diameter trees(e.g.,>100 cm DBH)affects AGB but may not seriously affect stand density.

近年来随着越南社会与经济的快速増长,工农业的飞速发展带来了显著的城镇化发展,在城镇化发展水平不断提升的过程中开始逐渐爆发大量的城市的交通问题如交通拥堵、交通故事、交通环境污染等。越南首都河内市,是国家政治与文化中心,也是越南北部经济三角中最重要的城市,因此经济繁荣发展,但城市化进程迅速但是也带来了许多交通问题,特别的是,发生在交通高峰期信号交叉口的交通拥堵问题,导致了交叉口的通行能力的降低,增加了交通流通行时间。遇到这些问题是由于道路设施和公共交通发展不满足居民出行需求,而汽车、摩托车数量增长较快,同时交通管理和交通组织不足,使河内交叉口交通问题已成为热点。本文从混合交通流的特点出发,主要以越南首都河内市交叉口交通的问题为研究对象,首先采用定性方法来分析河内市交通组织中存在的问题,注重信号灯交叉口。其次,根据河内市交通组织现状与特征分析的结果,借鉴在中国西南交通大学所学习掌握到的交通组织的先进知识,国际城市交通组织经验以及交通领域学者的研究成就应用于解决越南首都河内市信号灯交叉口的交通问题。主要包括以下三方面内容:(1)论文分析城市信号交叉口混合交通与交通冲突特征以及交通组织的相关基础理论。(2)以越南河内市为例,本文分析目前河内市道路交通网络形状和交叉口交通组织状况及其存在问题。(3)针对河内市关键信号交叉口进行调查与分析,并基于Vissim仿真软件的交叉口交通组织优化。结果表明本文所提的交通组织方案比现状方案更合理。

According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Hanoi city is currently facing the increased air pollution, especially particulate matter. This study examines the influence of meteorological factors including temperature, humidity and wind speed on PM10 concentration in Hanoi. The data used in this study include 24-h PM10 concentration data, hourly temperature, humidity and wind speed data in 2018 at three automatic air monitoring stations under Vietnam Environment Administration and Hanoi Natural Resources and Environment Department. The SPSS statistical analysis tools are utilized to analyze the correlation between PM10 concentration and meteorological factors through the Spearman (r) correlation coefficient. Additionally, the Independent-Sample T-Test is also employed to assess the difference in PM10 concentration in the period between dry season (from October to March) and wet season (from May to September). The results show that there is a trend of seasonal variation of PM10 concentration. Specifically, PM10 concentration recorded a higher value in winter and lower in summer. Different correlations between air pollutants and meteorological factors were also observed. PM10 concentration was inversely correlated (r 10 concentration during dry and wetseason. This outcome has confirmed the important role of meteorological factors in the formation of air pollution with large variations in different seasons and geological areas.

Using Geography Information System (GIS) tools and remote sensing data in assessing the level of vulnerability of agricultural production activities in the coastal area has become more efficient in the recent years. This research has identified the sensitivity index (S) (including the traffic access index;the impact of residential areas;the impacts of industrial zones;the community dependence level), exposure index (E) (the sea level rises to 2100;the temperature change to 2100), the adaptable capacity index (AC) (slope;morphology), thereby synthesizing the vulnerability index (V). Based on the indexes to calculate vulnerability, the high to very high vulnerability area is 37,081.44 ha, accounting for 68.09%;the average vulnerability level is 15,286.49 ha, accounting for 28.07%;the low to very low vulnerability level with an area is 2087.82 ha, accounting for 3.84% of the total area. With a high and very high vulnerability accounting for 68.09%, there will be great influences on the lives of resident in the area, especially agricultural production.

The solution of boundary value problems(BVP)for fourth order differential equations by their reduction to BVP for second order equations,with the aim to use the available efficient algorithms for the latter ones,attracts attention from many *** this paper,using the technique developed by the authors in recent works we construct iterative method for a problem with complicated mixed boundary conditions for biharmonic equation which is originated from nanofluidic *** convergence rate of the method is proved and some numerical experiments are performed for testing its dependence on a parameter appearing in boundary conditions and on the position of the point where a transmission of boundary conditions occurs.
